De-stress Vacay

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The process was quite easy and flowed well. I had good communication prior to and afterward. I must say that the receptionist was not welcoming when we simply stopped in at 2PM to see if our rental was available. Our pkg was ready; but she seemed offended that we even asked. We found your location first and were going to go on to lunch but decided we'd inquire since we were there. She was alone in the office with no other clients.

The condo was clean and upgrades were nice. New kitchen and bath. Lacking ceiling fans and lighting insufficient in bedroom. Plenty of beach chairs but no cart or wagon to pull them to the beach. Sofa and chair could be upgraded. Need more beach towels.

Great Week on Marco Island

All was as advertised with this listing. It is on a great location on the Island with a wonderful beach. Sea shelling was really good the week in January we were there. Two small items that should be noted, the HVAC unit in one of the neighboring units is noticeably loud in the bedroom at night. The other small issue was the TV in the Living Room did not have cable, only the one in the bedroom. These were very small issues, and did not damper our stay much, but I thought I would mention them. Overall, it was a wonderful week and we would probably book this unit again.

Beautiful View

I loved the view and location for beach walks. The couch in living area is new and lovely. The condo just needs a owners tlc. Linen closet inside biew all old mish mash of bathroom linen and beach towels. The beach towels were at least 20 years old and worn out. The beach chairs looked ok but were covered with sand and stuffed in a closet. Bedroom closet was cluttered with old bed linen and old hangers. These little things would cost very little to improve looks. The balcony furniture was soiled. For the price I would not stay here again.

8th trip to Marco

You can’t go wrong with Marco Island. We love going here. First time at the Apollo. It is right next to public access. It does get a little crowded. The unit was smaller than we like. A little dated. What got me was a big dump that was left in the toilet. Funny how these property management companies charge you enormous cleaning fees and this is what you get. Not to mention the TV is never worked. Not that were there to watch TV but obviously no one checked this unit before we got in the patio furniture needs thrown in the trash it was disgusting

Marvelous Marco

Marco is absolutely stunning! We love staying there! The condo we stayed in was sufficient. They had some nice upgrades but needed so extra love. The king bed was horrible, we did not sleep well most of week. The fan in bathroom was so dirty, we were surprised it worked. Towel rods need secured. Overlooking that, the views were stunning & sunsets spectacular. A little love & this gem would shine.

Fabulous view from Beachfront Penthouse

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at this property for 4 nights. It was ideally situated on a beautiful beach and we were able to enjoy morning walks and evening sunsets. We made use of the kitchen facilities for breakfast and dinner although the cooking facilities were somewhat limited. The crockery and glassware need replacing. The doors to the balcony were difficult to open. Overall in our view if a few hundred dollars were spent on it, it would improve the quality and enjoyment of the stay.

Tiny room with a view. Comforts not included.

Great 10th floor view of the gulf. However, this was the most bare bones property I have ever stayed at. If you want to get warm, you have to cover up with the extra bed pad (we went to thrift store to buy a blanket as it dipped below 40 this weekend). Your 1st trip will be to go to the store buy everything you need. Dish soap, dishwasher soap, garbage bags, toilet paper, paper towels, mataching wine glasses (oh we bought those also and left them). You will need some therapy after dealing with the tiny stove that shuts itself off and locks itself in the middle of anything you try to cook. I guarantee the furniture on the patio will disappoint you (unless you are into building furniture out of PVC tubes as a hobby). Like the stove, the TV channels may come in or may not. Good luck with that.

Overall disappointed

Overall disappointed The location was perfect the balcony overlooking the beach perfect but that is where it stops the condo is tired and needs to be updated. Bedroom curtains did not close, the air conditioner was leaking water all over the floor. We had to provide roll towels, garbage can liners and have to do all the wash before you leave. And we are not planning on returning!

Not what we expected

Half a kitchen (1/2 a stove, 1/2 a dishwasher and no Oven) We only stayed three days and ate out for dinner each night. If you’re staying longer and need a oven, pick a different unit.

Nothing elaborate as we’ve stayed at the Marriott and Hilton as well as another unit in the Apollo previously. It’s was the right amount of space and amenities for both me and my husband. A better coffee maker would have been appreciated but everything else was in order. Thank you for allowing us to celebrate my 60th birthday here. We will remember our time always.

Nice updated condo- Great View, Great Beach

Nice clean updated condo. Top floor facing the beach! Complex is very secure- gated and keyed entry’s. Perfect for a couple or small family. Steps away from the beach. Sunset grill is on the bottom floor. The food and drinks were great. We will stay here again next year!

Nothing like being able to sit on the balcony, with a drink, watching the sunset! The location of the condo was great! We were able to walk to breakfast each morning and tried a few different restaurants. I would recommend Doreen’s Cup of Joe! The best ice coffee and breakfast selections! We ended up going there for three days straight, it was so good! We will be back to Marco Island and this condo! The condo and the building was very clean, spotless! It was a great vacation getaway!
