Spacious and great location on La Torre.

Spacious town house in a goood location on the urbanisation. Only negatives were the lack of wifi (which the owner tried to resolve) and kitchen cupboards/glasses etc could do with a sort out and clean. An idiots guide on using the TV would be helpful as couldn't seem to get that to work either. Dreading the data charge!

A nice house on a well maintained Golf resort

We very much enjoyed our stay, particularly the position of the property on the edge of the development and the lovely views from the 1st floor balcony. The house was equipped with everything we needed and the property manager Chrissy was really helpful when we had an issue with one of the doors. La Torre Golf is a beautiful resort with some places to eat and drink but you really do need a car to explore the area (which we did) as the resort itself is quite isolated. We particularly enjoyed our day trip to Cartegena when we drove to Balsicas and caught the train in (thank you for the suggestion, Chrissy!). All in all a very good short break in the sunshine!

Lovely Stay

Lovely stay in La Torre. We’ve been there a number of times before, so knew what to expect. Villa is clean and tidy and comms with Chui and Chrissy, we’re excellent. Beds are comfy and plenty of towels. Could perhaps do with a few more glasses of various sorts and perhaps a few more pots and pans, but difficult as space in the kitchen is limited. Does not detract from our stay and, of course, not everyone will want to cook in the villa. Would definitely return.

Lovely House in the sun

We had a great time, we did hire a car to get around and see more of Murcia. There were a couple of hiccups but the owners soon sorted them out. They had recently got a new key holder and there was a mix up with the key code, I couldn’t get hold of the key holder but the owner got it sorted. Worth double checking you have the right code. Would definitely stay again if going to Murcia.

Perfect town house fabulous views

Great stay. What a spacious house (as opposed to apartments that we have chosen before). Could follow the sun around the house at all times because there are 3 terraces, all with enough tables/sunloungers. Amazing views from master bedroom terrace and sunsets that could be from a brochure. Located on a street near to the main entrance so convenient for daily trips out. Near to spa so also convenient. Beds very comfortable. Kitchen well equiped even though on the small side. Enough seating in the lounge for 4 of us. Host kindly allowed early check in even though we had a plan for a day of sightseeing just in case. Bars and restaurants in town center were open early season (April) and we did visit........ I'd say..... Irish bar nothing special but good for convenience. However the Italian restaurant was very accommodating when we hadn't booked and the food was excellent. No pharmacy onsite. Take your medical bag! If looking for a resort type atmosphere this is not it. If looking for an immaculate estate, a peaceful break, and willing to hire a car for day trips. Perfect. Id love to come again.

Great property, perfect location supermarket 2 mins walk and restaurants 5 mins. Bernie’s wife’s Thai meals were fantastic. We had a lovely week. Would stay here again when in the area.

Very tidy property with good car parking & countryside views

Very clean and welcoming; it was a bonus for us to have car parking actually on the property. Communication with the owners Chui and Andrew was excellent and the property manager Bernie could not have been more helpful. His wife cooked us a wonderful, authentic Thai meal in the evening of our arrival and we were also pleased to find that we were only a short walk from the Spar supermarket on the resort - a bit pricier than Mercadona in San Javier but very well stocked and with super bread daily. The property is well located on the resort., being on the edge overlooking fields and in the distance, mountains, and it is close to Murcia International Airport (Corvera) and very centrally placed for the coast at Mar Menor, Cartagena, and for golfers there are several other course nearby as well as La Torre Golf itself. Unfortunately we had to leave earlier than planned for personal reasons but it was not any reflection on the property, and Bernie was on hand to check us out at short notice. Thank you Andrew, Chui, Bernie and Patti for accommodating with our late booking , I am sure you will be kept very busy with further bookings.

Excellent séjour de 2 semaines

Très bon séjour, Chui était très disponible et répondait rapidement avant notre arrivée, Bernie qui nous a accueillis sur place était parfait. Aucune mauvaise surprise, tout est conforme au descriptif et aux photos. La maison est située suffisamment loin du centre, aucune nuisance sonore, la piscine est à moins de 5 minutes à pieds. Il y a maintenant un barbecue à disposition (en réponse à un précédent message) Nous avons visité la région (Murcia, Cartagène, la campagne et la montagne voisines, etc) Coté plage nous avons trouvé et "craqué" pour une plage à 45 minutes en voiture sur la commune de Portman, la playa del Lastre, allez coté port où l'on peut descendre en voiture, il y a moins de monde et la plage de sable noir est fabuleuse !!! Nota : La cuisine Thaï de l'épouse de Bernie est exquise ! Un grand merci donc à nos hôtes qui nous ont mis dans les meilleures disposition que ce soit Chui à distance ou Bernie sur place. Town House in La Torre

Loved the location, close enough to shop, restaurants and bars, but far enough away to enjoy peaceful days and nights. The property was spacious with a variety of terraces to enjoy full sun or some welcome shade. The indoor space would easily accommodate a small family or mixed group of adults, the two bathrooms making sharing easy for both. We enjoyed our time here and would happily book again. We would suggest that the prpoerty could do with a little freshen up decor wise and some of the towels supplied were a little past their best. Our only real negative would be that the drain in the downstairs bath tub needs some attention as there was a stale smell from the bath tube drain, possible as it is not used too frequently. Overall we were really happy and enjoyed the property and only add the negatives to help the owners improve the experience for other guests.

Stay at La Torre Golf/1 Pagel

This is a lovely house! A wonderful position, very quiet, great views to the rear. Bernie met us on arrival - all communications were very good - and we settled in straight away. The supermarket is very well stocked and very close. The on site restaurants were also very convenient and good quality - especially Wood House and the Italian, and Blue Collar. Swimming pools were a little further than we thought, but fine. Regular patrols by the Vigilante Security guys was very reassuring. (apparently they are all trained paramedics too, in case you need them). Grounds were exceptionally clean and tidy (manicured?!). We did have a problem with the water going off because of a leak - but soon resolved. All in all, would very much recommend this holiday home to anyone.

Ha sido una estancia fabulosa. La casa muy cómoda y funcional. El patio y la terraza fueron nuestros lugares favoritos. Se agradece el entorno tranquilo de la urbanización, los niños podían ir solos a todos lados. Solo queda agradecer todos y cada uno de los días. Si volvemos por Murcia, este será nuestro lugar.

Nos ha gustado la ubicación dentro del resort así como lo funcional del apartamento, no pudimos disfrutar de las terrazas por ir con niños pequeños. Lo único que le faltaría para ser perfecto es un lavavajillas y una cafetera.

August 2020 Holiday

Having had our flight times changed a couple of times the owner Chui could not have been more accommodating.All questions dealt with extremely quickly. The house is situated in a quiet part of the resort on a corner plot overlooking the farmland and mountains.The Spar Supermarket on site which is very well stocked is only just over a 5 minute walk and is next to 2 swimming pools which are the closet to the house. The house had everything required for our holiday and was wonderful to have air conditioning in both bedrooms. The nearest beach is in San Javier a 20 minute drive and other wonderful beaches all along this coastline. Bernie the property manager was very helpful and we ordered a wonderful Thai meal from him which was delicious! If you want a quiet relaxing holiday this is the place for you 😎

Bon complexe

Complexe agréable propre beaucoup de choix de piscine. Inconvénient pas de transats autour de la piscine donc obligés de transporter le sien de la maison à la piscine avec les enfants pas si simple... Car la villa N est pas si proche que ça de la piscine. La villa est propre et assez bien équipée dans l ensemble. Par contre gros inconvénients pas de machine à café , pas de lave vaisselle ni de barbecue dommage car la terrasse est très bien pour ça et en vacances le barbecue c'est essentiel. Les propriétaires ny sont pour rien mais en raison de l'emplacement de la villa juste à côté il y avait les réserves de sable et cailloux du coup les ouvriers faisaient extrêmement de bruit avec les machines et leur aller retour des 7h du matin !!!! Voiture indispensable car rien autour et choix de resto et activités dans le complexe pas assez nombreux.

Very good experience with Chui but a litle desappointed with housekeeper Bernie which was not a person with who you can exchange or talk with (he arrived by surprise from the back of the house 2 days after our arrival - we did not met him yet; and for the leaving as we has no news we call him the evening before : he did asked us to leave at 9am; it was asked nicely but we understood we had no possible choice so we had to accept.

Last Minute Break

Prior to our booking communication with Chui was quick, information was concise and accurate. We asked for a lot of detail and Chui was very patient with us. The property Manager, Bernie, was very amenable over arrival and departure times and very quick to respond when we had an issue with the fridge. We had a brand new one in situ within 24 hours. Thank you for such a wonderful service! The apartment was adequately fitted out and is in a superb location overlooking fields, but only 5 minutes walk to the main centre. It is very quiet and private on the balconies. We would certainly return.

Perfect place for rest, peace and tranquility

My hubby and I chose to stay at this villa for 2 weeks in June, having been let down by 3 owners on the La Torre resort via other websites and thank goodness we did. From the day we made the booking, I can only praise Chui the owner and HomeAway for making it the perfect holiday experience. Chui was there every step of the way ready to give advice and respond to our requests. Bernie the key holder was really helpful and there to meet us on arrival and we'd organised for a grocery pack to be made available - always good when you've been travelling for hours on end. The villa itself was lovely and clean with everything you could possibly need for a self catering holiday. We chose to eat in quite a lot and the freezer was constantly full courtesy of the Overseas Iceland shop in San Javier, which is only about 15 mins drive away. It was much bigger than I expected with air con in all the rooms plus ceiling fans in the lounge, upstairs bedroom and an additional 2 on the downstairs terrace. The beds were really comfy and there were plenty of clean towels and sheets available, which was great. The 3rd floor terrace was a fantastic bonus with a lovely breeze blowing through on the warmer days and very private too. Patio furniture was available on both the ground floor and 1st floor terraces and 4 loungers were available for our use. The views were great looking out over farmland to the mountains and the sunsets were spectacular. The semi detached villa is positioned really well on an end plot with lots of space so you never feel closed in. It's only a short walk to the amenities, pools and supermarket which is very well stocked and reasonably priced. We spent less there than what we usually do going to the bigger supermarkets, so I can definitely recommend. La Torre is by far one of the prettiest and cleanest places we've stayed. The garden areas and the tree lined roads have been pruned to perfection and it's also a great place for those who are disabled because it's so flat. I'd seriously recommend a car to visit the lovely beaches and nearby nature park with its flamingos (shopping is pretty good too) but it's not essential. There are places to eat and drink locally and all within 10 mins walk. There's musical entertainment in the little town square on a Friday night but if you generally want a peaceful and quiet holiday with time to relax, then this is one little gem i'd seriously recommend. Thanks Chui, we had a fab time !!! .
