Don't book if you want responsive customer service
The pros: this rental is in a good location to the water and the center of town; it is also has a reasonably outfitted kitchen but be prepared to provide all of your own condiments as there is nothing to cook with in the rental other than the pans, stove, etc.
The cons: I checked into the unit by myself (my husband was joining me 2 days later) on a Sunday during a holiday weekend. One of the CEOs of the property management company, Hello Sitges Apartments, was my contact. His introduction to the apartment took all of 5 minutes and I ended up having a few questions and issues (namely there was no hot water or heat in the unit) that I reached out to him to resolve. For over 24 hours there as no acknowledgement or response to my messages. I had to raise a complaint with VRBO and have VRBO call him directly before he answered my messages -- and he never once apologized for the inconvenience -- his only comment was that it was a holiday. I firmly believe that if you are in the business of customer service, then you need to be responding to the customers, even if it is a holiday -- especially if the customer does not have hot water or heat. You will also want to check out the Facebook page for this business as there are reports of the company not acting in good faith -- I mistakenly believed that VRBO would be more scrutinizing of the partners they allow to advertise on their website.
