To begin I messaged David before booking to confirm the hot tub was in working order, he confirmed it was just serviced.. we booked. Upon arrival the instructions as which cabin we were staying in wasn’t clear and we went to the lower one and could not get in, it took David some time to respond to us to get that sorted out. Finally we get into our cabin at the top of the hill, kids go straight to the deck to check out hot tub and it was luke warm 80 degrees, we contacted him, he said he would call service person in the morning and had me flick the breaker and wait a few hours for it to warm up.. which it did not our entire stay. The deck was severely rotted, unsafe. The cleanliness of the cabin was not up to par, had crumbs and dog hair on the furniture. I explained my frustration and he did say he had another cabin available that we could go to for our second night as that hot tub was working. Great, we were happy he was being accommodating… until we arrived 30 minutes away at the other cabin.. wow.. so unsanitary, so smelly, dead bugs everywhere, hot tub stunk, we turned around and left. David stated if I didn’t leave him a bad review he would give me some of a refund for all the inconveniences of this stay.. I tried for weeks to reach out to him and he has never returned any calls, emails, messages.. do yourself a favor and steer clear of his cabins!
