Sparkling clean, bright, and airy, be among the first to enjoy this newly renovated villa perfectly located for beach lovers. One of the best rental values on Hilton Head Island, the property is just a short seven-minute walk from the beach. New owners have rehabbed this 2 bedroom, 2 bath villa in the quiet, established Fiddler's Cove community. The remodel includes all new flooring throughout, a new kitchen, and all new stainless steel appliances including a large capacity washer and dryer and updated bathrooms. The villa is conveniently located on the 1st floor with one easy step to access the front door—no lugging that beach gear up and down steps. And if a day away from the beach is what you’re looking for, you will find one of two on-site swimming pools just across a small parking lot.

Flip Flop Folly includes sleeping accommodations for 4 with a king-size bed in the master bedroom that has a new, highly-rated, Nectar mattress, and two twins in the guest bedroom. A porta-crib for our young guests is also on site. Guests of Flip Flop Folly will also enjoy flat-screen TVs in each of the bedrooms as well as a 50" Smart TV in the living space, all with a Charter Spectrum package. Your stay also includes free WiFi. The brand-new kitchen is fully equipped for the gourmet cook including small appliances not normally offered in a rental. A small porch includes a patio table and chairs to relax with drinks or to enjoy dinner after a day at the beach. For your convenience, the villa is equipped with a wagon, beach chairs, boogie boards, and sand toys.

The landscaped sprawling grounds of Fiddler’s Cove include multiple playgrounds, picnic, and BBQ areas, and a private lagoon complete with wildlife. Hilton Head's extensive bike trails bring you right to the complex entrance. There is also a new Breeze Trolly stop at the entrance offering free transportation to Shelter Cove’s many restaurants and shops.

Resort amenities at Fiddler's Cove include free parking and a 24/7 security gate, 2 outdoor swimming pools (cooled in summer/heated in fall and spring), and a hot tub. Ten championship-caliber Har Tru clay tennis and Four Pickleball Courts are available to reserve.

Fiddlers Cove

We’ve stayed in Fiddler’s Cove before (a different unit), so we knew what a great location it is. Just a short walk to the beach! Unit has a wagon, beach chairs, & beach toys… just bring your beach towels! This kitchen was fabulous! Being there for 2 weeks, we did cook quite a bit, and were impressed at the kitchen gadgets, utensils, cookware, & dinnerware available for us. They even provided seasonings, oils, & vinegars to use. Loved the decor and the touches of pink… very cute! A few things could be improved upon… There was no dining table… Stools were available at the kitchen island. However, b/c the stools didn’t have backs, we weren’t able to comfortably linger around after dinner or allow our wiggly 4 year old to sit there. If we had only stayed a few days, or didn’t have a little boy, this probably wouldn’t have been an issue. Some towels were fine… others were extremely thin & worn. Maybe, the towels are provided by the cleaning agency, and perhaps the owners could address that. Finally, the shower curtain liners were absolutely disgusting… lots of mold. I even considered purchasing new ones to hang during our stay. Other than those issues, we enjoyed our stay & the condo was great!

Great Overall

Flip Flop Folly - Fiddlers Cove

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our stay at flip flop folly! The condo was beautifully decorated & updated. It was equipped with tons of beach items (wagon, chairs, toys, tents, etc) as well as much appreciated baby items (pack n play, high chair, plates/utensils, etc)! We love the location on the first floor for getting in and out with the wagon/stroller and having only 2 small steps. The proximity to the pool was great & only a 7 min walk to the beach!! We definitely didn’t want to leave! As we were pulling out my husband recommended a 2 week stay next year and even booking flip flop folly now! It truly was the best unit we’ve rented on HHI!

Also loved how the place is decorated and updated. Beth was great to deal with, overall just had a really pleasant stay and plan to come back!
