Welcome to Blue Jay Getaway, our freshly renovated and ultra cozy condo is exactly what you need for a relaxing getaway to the mountains. Sitting within steps to the Boulder Bay Park and lake access your group will sit conveniently within minutes to local ski resorts, grocery stores, marinas, and the downtown Village shops for dining and entertainment. Furnished with your vacation stay in mind you will find all that you need for a memorable vacation here at Boulder Bay.

Entering your condo you are greeted with a spacious master suite, complete with a private patio and full bath, you will love sipping your first cup of coffee in the mornings out here on the cute patio. Down the hall you will find the cozy and warm living room area, complete with a sliding glass door to the other patio deck, you will love this location. The equipped kitchen offers the chef of your group all that you need to prepare your home cooked meals, oak cabinets are stocked full with cookware and utensils while stainless appliances and a dishwasher are provided for your ultimate convenience. The dining table and breakfast bar stools offer ample sitting for your meals while the BBQ is a great way to grill up your dinner.

The guest bedroom and bathroom are located here off of the kitchen area, all are made up for your visit with warm linens, blankets, pillows, and fresh shower towels. Boulder Creek Resort offers wonderful year round amenities including a fantastic lakeside location, onsite trash removal and local transit options, plus a summertime community pool and hot tub to add to your experience. You will love your stay here at Boulder Bay Modern!

The location was great! and the acommodations were perfect for myself and my friend, two seperate bedrooms and baths, it was very comfortable. A few things are in need of repair or replacement, but that is understandable with a vacation rental. Thank you for a great time!!

The property was perfect for our family!
The place was clean and I appreciated the supplies left by big bear vacations like dishwasher pods and sponge in the kitchen and conditioner and soap in the bathrooms. The place was perfectly located, close to big bear village and right by Boulder bay park which was fun to go in the snow with small children.

Updated unit
Newly updated unit. Overall a good stay as unit is close to the town center, clean, and newly renovated. Minor cons: there are limited supplies in the apartment such as dishwashing detergent, laundry detergents, etc. Remember to ask for those when you check in at the main office. Also, very thin pillows. BRING YOUR OWN PILLOWS if you want a good night sleep.

Our Big Bear Vacations team is looking forward to hosting you here in the mountains! We are your longest standing local vacation experts with years of dedicated experience and knowledge brought forth within our exceptional customer service and support staff to ensure a 5 star experience for every guest. Our team offers 24/7 support along with local on site offices and experience packages.

Big Bear GOOD NEIGHBOR POLICY is enforced at all times during your stay and includes removing trash from the property to local trash sites, washing dishes to alleviate wild animals being attracted to neighborhoods. NO PARTIES OR EVENTS, No Over Occupancy, No Loud Music, and No Street Parking is allowed in Big Bear homes at any time. This policy along with a rental agreement will be emailed to you immediately after booking and is REQUIRED by the City of Big Bear Lake for all rentals in Big Bear. If found in violation of these policies guests will be visited by staff and Code Enforcement officers who may or may not issue fines or evictions to the violating party members. No Smoking is allowed in any Big Bear homes.

There is no early arrival or later departure availability during peak season and holidays.

Winter Snow & Parking- During winter months the driveways, steps, porches, decks, and other outdoor areas at your property may not be accessible due to snow or ice. Our teams are on fixed routes for snow and work alongside city and county resources to clear roads, driveways, walkways etc. Guests should be prepared in winter months to shovel themselves in or out of the property and off of the street in these snowstorm events. As there is no street parking allowed in Big Bear it is extremely important that guests make every attempt to get vehicles off the street for the snowplows. California Law requires that vehicles traveling to Big Bear from November thru April have snow chains in their vehicles however we also recommend proper footwear, an emergency kit, and an extra snow shovel.

California Penal Code: (a) Any person who knowingly and fraudulently represents himself or herself, through verbal or written notice, to be the owner or trainer of any canine licensed as, to be qualified as, or identified as, a guide, signal, or service dog, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor punishable by imprisonment in the county jail not exceeding six month, by a fine not exceeding one thousand dollars ($1,000), or by both that fine and imprisonment.
Emotional support animals, comfort animals, and therapy dogs are not service animals under Title II and Title III of the ADA.

Though individually owned and decorated all homes will be equipped with clean linens, blankets, pillows, and fresh bath towels for the occupancy of your property. Each home has a full kitchen with basic pots, pans, dishes, and a small starter amount of dish soap, toilet paper, and trash bags will be supplied. Your home will not be supplied with paper towels, coffee filters or coffee, specialty kitchen items or appliances, condiments or oils, bathrooms soaps or lotions and hair dryers.

There is no Pay-Per-View access or Ordering of Viewing options in any of our Big Bear homes.

No refunds or credits will be made for cancellations or trip interruptions due to acts of nature, weather, road conditions, mechanical or electrical failures, spa malfunctions, TV or other equipment factors beyond our control.

Big Bear is a mountain community located in a deep forest which is also home to many forest critters. Common animals or insects that you may encounter are spiders, moths, flies, squirrels, gophers, bears, coyotes, burro, bear, bats, etc. Our team inspects every home prior to your arrival but cannot guarantee that the home will be free of these forest animals or pests.

Big Bear Vacations reserves the right to offer a comparable property or issue a full refund if circumstances arise that are beyond our control and your property is made unavailable for any reason.
