Welcome to Knotty Pelican! This lovely beach home is semi-oceanfront featuring beautiful ocean views and a direct beach access. This pet friendly home is ready for your Pup. With 4 bedrooms and 3 baths, there is plenty of space for a wonderful and memorable vacation.

The location is the perfect spot for all your vacation plans. Close to dining and nightlife at some of the best restaurants the Outer Banks has to offer, including Ocean Boulevard Bistro and Martini Bar, Black Pelican, Hurricane Mo’s and Jimmy’s Seafood Buffet. And then there is shopping and Outer Banks attractions all within easy access.

Last Minute Stay July 2023

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: For a last-minute booking it was pretty decent. Lots of beach chairs, umbrellas etc. to use. I will say it could have been a lot cleaner. The steps going upstairs were disgusting and needs replacing. The dryer also did not work. Looks like someone keeps rigging the starter knob and then it just falls off every time someone goes to use it. Location is great, especially if you hit the beach a lot or surf fish. The dirty bed sheets were left on the picnic table out front until mid-week, so that wasn't very appealing, but it could surely be worse.

Another Great OBX Week

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, we had a great stay! The house was very nice and updated. There was a fully stocked kitchen. The air conditioning worked well. There was a mix-up with linens when we arrived, but housekeeping remedied the problem ASAP. We noticed when we arrived home that everything we'd had in the lower level smelled heavily of mildew, so I definitely recommend some sort of moisture remediation.

Perfect for us

My cousin & I loved this beach house. It had everything we needed; close to the beach, fenced in yard for her little pug, sunroom, deck to watch the sunrise, back deck to watch the sunset, full kitchen. Loved it!!

Great location

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was very tastefully decorated and being across the street from the ocean was wonderful. The kitchen was too well stocked, there was absolutely no place to put your personal belongings in the cabinets. The cleanliness of the house when we arrived had A LOT to be desired! There were coffee grounds and gnats in the coffee maker, pubic hair left in the shower, beer caps all over the back deck, dried food in the stove & on the counters and the shower curtains had mold on them! The rental agency was contacted, a guy showed up, thanked me for the cleaning I had done, wiped down the counters, got the pubic hair out off the shower & left. The queen size bed had 4 mattress pads on it, not a mattress, so you slid to the middle or out! I can say, we left that house a heck of a lot cleaner than what we found it. Again, the house was “homie”, but the cleaning was inexcusable.
