Mediterranean Escape is a well appointed, top-level 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment. The perfect home away from home - located only 300 meters off the main street, you will have stunning views of Airlie Beach and still be close enough to everything that the town has to offer.

This immaculately renovated coastal apartment is perched overlooking Airlie Beach's township. Positioned at the rear of the complex, North Easterly sea breezes and natural light fills the apartment as soon as you walk through the door.

Prepare to be greeted by the recently renovated modern kitchen featuring stone bench tops, sleek white cabinetry, French door fridge/freezer and built-in wine chiller with unforgettable sea views to both the East and West. The open plan living space flows seamlessly through to the combined lounge and dining area.

The apartment has ceiling fans and is fully air conditioned throughout ensuring complete comfort all year round. 2 bedrooms with built-in robes at either end of the apartment gives privacy for you and your guests, with the master boasting a generous ensuite.

The complex features 2 swimming pools, a spa, BBQ area and only a 300m walk down to Airlie Beach's Main Street, where restaurants, shops, nightlife, and the Whitsunday Island activities await!

Debacle

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I booked a 3 bedroom apartment and was given this 2 bedroom apartment which was not suitable for our needs. Although the property was clean and well presented, it was not suitable so we had to be moved to another property.

Lovely apartment, clean and spacious with great water views from both the balcony and the infinity pool. Short walk into main street of Airlie which was easy to walk down to, just a little steep on the way back - good for exercise.

Great place but a nightmare to park

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This place was a great apartment, spacious, clean, sensational view, two balconies and the best infinity pool I have ever seen. However, the closeness to the action is overridden by how difficult it is to get there. It’s at the top of a very steep hill that we attempted to walk only once and getting in and out of the parking space is a nightmare, (three point turn to reverse out and then had to reverse half way down the steep driveway to turn around) so it limited our flexibility. So being that close isn’t helpful as you have to drive there anyway. Might as well be a bit further away with easy driving and parking.

Great apartment - spacious, comfortable, spectacular view, best infinity pool ever but incredibly inconvenient. It’s at the top of a very steep hill that we only walked once and the parking requires a three point turn to back out and then reversing halfway down the driveway before you can turn around. Unfortunately that negates the closeness to Airlie Beach and I would choose to be further away but easier to drive in.

superb views

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This unit was lovely, cool and comfortable and the views overlooking Airlie were superb. Only 300m to the main street (up a Hill, got our excercise thats for sure) its conveniently situated. Loved it.
