The Lucky 7 | Family Home | Quiet Meridian Neighborhood

You've stumbled upon one of our favorite private homes which has undergone a recent "Glow Up"

This house was a family home for many years. It is called "The Lucky 7" Home because around 20 years ago the owners son did a magic trick where a 7 of clubs card stuck to the ceiling. For sentimental reasons it was left. We hope this lucky card brings you and your family luck while staying at this lovely home!

There have been slight upgrades done throughout time adding a modern feel to this cozy family home. With a noticeably quiet, family friendly neighborhood and tasteful touches of tidy décor, we have no doubt that this home will provide a serene space for you to rest during your travels. The well furnished family room is ideal for gathering and lounging with loved ones. We don't take lightly the task of ensuring that our guests are given nothing but top of the line comfort for sleeping soundly with high quality, hotel grade mattresses and fresh linens within every bedroom.

This Home has 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms! 3 queen rooms, a bunk room with queen over queen bunks, and a master with king sized bed and ensuite bathroom.

No garage access.

Neighbors: This rental home is in a quiet neighborhood so we ask for your help in respecting the friendly neighbors by not hosting parties of any sort and keeping music and noise quiet after 10pm each night. This helps our neighbors stay enthusiastic about our rental services.

Smoking, vaping or the use of any recreational drugs is strictly prohibited anywhere within or upon the premise of the property. We do not allow any house parties in our homes out of respect for neighbors and the protection of our beautiful homes. We pride ourselves in being a company that offers a pet friendly place at many of our properties please see our pet policy below

Failure to comply with the pet fee, smoking/drug policy and unauthorized events or parties could result in a $500 fine, immediate eviction with no refund and additional expenses may be charged to remove odors or repair any damages done.

Family visit plus a wedding.

Beds were comfortable. Kitchen supplies need review and replaced as needed. Bought a couple of frying pans, a peeler, a grater and some dish cloths which were left. Neither Digital or Dish TV wasn't working so no television during our stay. Only a single wash cloth provided for 3 bathrooms. Fireplace (gas) didn't work. Overall this property worked well for our stay.

Comfortable House but lacked amenities

This house was setup nicely with a lot of bedrooms, a large table and a great outdoor space. It was very clean and updated. My main complaint was with the lack of amenities. The kitchen was not very well stocked, one example is there was not kettle for hot water. The fireplace did not work. As for the TVs, they had power but that was it. There was no TV service, no Smartcasting and the HDMI cabling was a mess. There was no documentation for the TVs as to their setup or connectivity. This is a great house to spend a couple of the nights but not so good if you are looking for the comforts of home.

Pleasant Stay, but could have been better

We shared the home with our daughter, son-in-law and their three children. The stairs down into the family room were a bit challenging with an 18-month-old. It would have been good to know the downstairs was not one level. The house was nice and for the most part, very clean. However, despite the no pet policy, there was dog or cat fur on the carpet in the family room. The kids loved playing in the spacious back yard. The house could have been better appointed. For example, there were no wine glasses and extremely limited pots and pans and cooking utensils. Additionally, with our house full, there were zero extra towels. We had to go to the store to get basics like garbage bags and foil. We also found that the TV in the family room did not work properly. Upon inspection, it was clear that none of the HDMI cables were attached to anything. There was a bbq in the back yard, but it did not have a propane tank. I would have gladly paid to fill a tank, but I did not want to pay for a new one. So, all in all it was a pleasant stay and with a few adjustments by the host could have been better.
