This beautiful heritage home is in central Queenscliff an easy walk to the shopping village, parks and the beach. ‘Waratah’ is an outstanding example of the town’s long history as a year-round holiday destination. As you step onto the lovely front verandah you notice the beautiful leadlights along with many other period features; the wide hallway stretches the length of the home, with high ceilings and period lighting setting the tone. The front lounge is a generous in size and is the perfect place to read a book, enjoy a chat with friends or just watch the world go by - it's the second of two good sized living spaces enabling multiple living areas for the extended family to spread out. Further along t he 2 main bedrooms are generous in size, the 3rd bedroom is bedrooms all feature queen size beds, cupboard storage, ornamental fireplaces and their own ensuites. A fourth ’kids’ bedroom offers two single beds, reverse cycle air conditioning, a ceiling fan and storage.
The ornate hallway opens out into a light-filled kitchen and living area perfect for spending time with family and friends. If taking the chance to dine-in during your stay, the large fully equipped kitchen is well suited for many hands - with plenty of bench space, double oven, coffee machine and long central dining table. A relaxed living area offers a TV and couches, whilst an adjacent powder room also provides clothes washing facilities. Glass doors open out onto a decked north facing entertaining area - with dining table, relaxed seating and BBQ. This quiet and private space is sublime no matter the time of day.
‘Waratah’ is within walking distance of Queenscliff’s many restaurants, cafes and boutiques and has easy access to a supermarket. Take the chance to wander the many walking trails through historic parkland to the beach beyond. Given this home’s suitability for multiple couples or family groups, it is an ideal base for experiencing one of the many events Queenscliff has to offer. This home is just a 30 minute drive from Geelong, 90 minutes from Melbourne and is also easily accessible via the Queenscliff Sorrento Ferry.

3 bedrooms have ensuites and guests in the 4th bedroom with 2 single beds will need to share one of the ensuites. There is an additional powder room.
