Fawnskin Cabin - A quaint cabin in a peaceful location, close to Big Bear's attractions!

Per county requirements, we are permitted a maximum occupancy of 6 guests. Children, toddlers, and infants do count as a person. Please do not book or arrive with more than the maximum or you could be fined from the city and evicted with no refund.

WALK TO LAKE/MARINA!

Adorable cabin located on one of the best streets in Fawnskin! Property backs to the National Forest. Just a short drive from The Village, lake, Bear Mountain, and Snow Summit. Venture out to the local hiking and Jeep trials nearby, rent a boat to go fishing or go into town to dine in or out. This location is mostly local, super chill foresty vibes and definitely non-touristy and peaceful for total relaxation.

LIVING SPACE - Spacious 1100+ sq ft home with living room, bar seating, dining table, wood burning stove fireplace, and plenty of comfortable living room seating.

ROOMS & BEDS - 2 bedroom, 1 bath. Downstairs first bedroom has a king bed. Upstairs second bedroom/loft has a queen bed, double bed, twin bed, smart TV, and balcony. Extra blankets and pillows are available.

KITCHEN - Stove with oven, refrigerator, microwave, blender, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, pots/pans, spices, and more.

AMENITIES - Board games include Cards Against Humanity Family Edition, Chutes and Ladders, and more. TVs, Roku, streaming apps and fast WiFi. Relax near the cozy fireplace.

OUTDOORS - Back deck with patio furniture and gas barbecue.

PARKING - 2 car driveway.

Short and Sweet

Overall the cabin was perfect for our short impromptu stay in Big Bear! Our dog loves the snow and he's getting older (12y). We wanted to make sure we didn't miss a snow trip this season while he's still with us so we planned a 1night stay with the recent snow that came in. The cabin was the perfect size and location. It backs up to the forrest which made for easy access to for snow hike with the pup and sledding with kiddos. My only complaint is the flat pillows. We had to stack three of them just to make sure our necks wouldn't be a mess the next morning. Also, there was some miscommunication on the management side as to when we could check in. We were told it was available and okay for us to have access to the cabin at 2pm, but someone must have not made a note of it because when we got there we still hadn't received access info and told the cabin still needed to be cleaned. We were not able to get in until 3:35pm. So I recommend you double and triple check that you are good to go with earlier check in if requesting it. I will say though, management was quick to respond when we had a power outage towards the end of the stay and when we confirmed a late check-out. All in all, we'd recommend cool-cabins and this cabin in particular. Just bring your own pillows...

Cozy Big Bear Cabin in Quiet Neighborhood

Stayed at this cabbin recently and had a great time. Its a very nice cabin witj many amenities available. Traveled with young kids and felt like it was a safe place for little ones. Theres a mountain side in the backyard thats full of snow because it doesnt get a lot of sun. The kids had a blast playing in yhe snow. Would definitely stay in this cabin again with cool cabins big bear.

Nice, quiet cabin

This is a sweet little property with a beautiful view of the canyon off of the deck. The neighborhood is nice and quiet, away from the hustle of the village, but just a short drive away. Beautiful lake views are right down the road. The bed is super comfortable, and we loved the fireplace. It's a perfect place for a peaceful getaway.

You have to use a physical credit card.

The check-in process can be a bit painful if you don't originally book with a physical credit card (nothing in the listing about it) as they require you to text pictures of the front and back of your card plus pictures of the front and back of your ID and a selfie to check in. After that little hiccup things went smoothly, the cabin was nice, they even had a bucket of toys the kids enjoyed. Overall we had a blast.
