Alpenglow Retreat is perched in the mountains with great mountain and lake views and yet only minutes to Somers and Lakeside. As you go up the driveway to this beautiful home, you will be greeted with a large grassy area perfect for sitting around a bonfire or playing horseshoes and plenty of room for kids to run around and play tag. Upon entering this beautiful 3 story hide a way, you will find an open-concept great room with a well conceptualized kitchen/dining & living room area overlooking the pine trees and views of Flathead lake. The main floor also has two bedrooms, each with a queen bed and a main floor bathroom complete with tub/shower combination. In addition, on the main floor is an exercise room and laundry room on this floor.

The well appointed exercise room comes complete with a treadmill, an elliptical, weights as well as a stability ball. With plenty of room for free movement and yoga. There is also a half bath located inside the exercise area.

Back to the great room where you have the option to either go upstairs or downstairs. Upstairs you will find a small yet very functional office nook on the landing outside of the large master bedroom, featuring a king bed and large ensuite bathroom with a jetted tub and a separate enclosed glass shower along with double vanity.

Downstairs feels like its own suite complete with a cozy sitting area with a tv and desk for a separate work space and a bedroom with a queen size bed and Jack and Jill style bathroom with a glass shower that you can access from the bedroom or the sitting area.

The home is divided in such a way that the common spaces are warm and welcoming and great for entertaining and visiting with family and friends yet the bedrooms feel more tucked away for privacy, quiet and rest.

Outside on the deck off of the main floor of the home, you will find both a propane grill as well as a wood fire grill and a decorative cozy propane fire pit, perfect for sitting back and watching the sunset after a day of hiking or playing in the lake.

The home is a short drive to nearby Flathead Lake, lots of amazing dining options nearby in Somers, Lakeside, and Bigfork, and is less than an hour from Glacier National Park. Whitefish, which is full of quaint little shops and delicious restaurants, as well as Big Mountain skiing is just 45 minutes away, and should you desire to go skiing south of the cabin you will find Blacktail Mountain skiing only about 35 minutes away, There is a lot of wildlife on and around the property which makes for a very exciting live nature viewing - each day different from the day before.

In addition to the amenities listed up above, this home is equipped with basic supplies such as - linens, towels, a few rolls of toilet paper, a roll of paper towels, and cleaning products. The kitchen comes with standard amenities, a coffee maker, and utensils. Should you need more specific items, we may be able to provide them at an additional cost under our concierge services.  Please do not hesitate to ask, and we will see what we can do.

Cancelation Policy:
** Please note, if a reservation is canceled at least 60 days prior to the reservation arrival date the reservation IS REFUNDABLE, MINUS the processing fee. The processing fee is paid to the credit card company upon booking your stay.   
** Please note, if a reservation is canceled less than 60 days prior to the reservation arrival date the reservation is NON-REFUNDABLE IN ITS ENTIRETY.
