The Space
the creek is about 3 feet deep right a the bottom of the waterfall and makes for a refreshing spot to wade away the day.
This secluded waterfall getaway is within Twin Book Resort and is located in center MAGGIE valley. Asheville is 30 minutes east from the property, and the airport is within 45 minutes. Haywood County has numerous attractions and hiking spots within driving distance. So whether you're, looking to get away from the craziness of life or want to indulge in your favorite outdoor hobby, we have the place for you.
If you're looking to get out to enjoy a hike, paddle board, kayak. slingshot, or bike ride there are several options within driving distance. We are located minutes from the Blue Ridge Mountains/Smoky Mountains, There are also a few short, easy hiking/walking trails around Lake Junaluska, as well wonderful trout streams for recreation fishing.
There are several local breweries and restaurants located in Maggie Valley/ Waynesville if you are in search of a good brew or a meal to end your day.
Bakeries, antique shops, the Wheels Through Time motorcycle museum and restaurant fill the small Maggie Valley/ Waynesville areas.
If seclusion is your goal, enjoy the solitude of relaxing by the fire overlooking the waterfall on the property or sitting on the back porch. Nature is a plentiful on this property, ranging from birds to the occasional elk sighting. The neighborhood is spacious with only 15 cabin over 18 acres of wilderness.
The kitchen is fully stocked with things you will need for cooking, There is a limited supply of water, coffee, and other miscellaneous kitchen supplies. Ingles and Publex are a few miles away, so you may want to stock up before you arrive.
Once you walk in the classic red front door, you will a kitchen table for 4 and a couch and easy chair. The bedroom boasts 2 queen beds; it perfectly suited for 4 adults with entry into the bathroom where you will find amply supply of towels, and washcloths. We provide shampoo,conditioner, soap and 2 rolls of toilet paper.
During your stay you can expect to enjoy the backyard and the waterfall all to yourself.
You are in nature. There are bugs, bees, snakes and even the occasional elk/bear sighting. We obviously can't control what you encounter outside. Just steer clear and enjoy watching from afar.
There is a fire pit off the back porch. You can find wood at the gas station nearby. Please do not leave the fire unattended.

We do allow children as long as they are supervised the entire time during your stay.
Guest access
The rental is for the entire cabin. During your stay you will have full access to the resort's indoor pool and hot tub. The master bedroom has 2 queen beds. The back area has 2 rocking chairs, a picnic table, BBQ grill and full viewing of the rushing creek and water fall with 4 more chairs around the fire pit.
However, if you need something we are only a phone call away.
Other things to note.
"WiFi" and cable are provided; however weather can affect their reliability. Cellphone service at the cabin can be spotty and your cell phone may not work unless you turn it to "WiFi". Summer weather is general in the 70's and low 80's during the day but drops to 50-60 at night. There are occasional warm days, which is why there is an A/C unit in the cabin. On cool nights, you may want to use the gas fireplace.
For heat there are baseboard heat through the cabin. Please make sure the A/C unit and heat vents are turned off when you leave.
