A few maintanance issues
A few minor maintanance issues I observed during my stay:
- The seals for the shower door leak terribly. We were forced to wash all towels daily after mopping up the excess water from just simple showers.
- The shelf in the shower should really be moved to the adjacent wall. At the moment its a hazard to try and shower and avoid hitting it.
- No fitted sheet
- No quilt cover
- The pillows need replacement
- The lamp in the living room is going to break soon. The grub screw that holds the glass in place is corroded and will likely give way.
- The crockery needs replacement. There are no potts small enough to boil eggs. We used the estate pot.
- There are no bowls
- The vaneer on a few of the cabinets is peeling away.
- The cabinet door directly above the dishwasher seems to be broken, it wont be long before it falls away from its hinges.
- The bracket for the air con remote is loose.
- The TV remote is broken. The 'ok' button doesnt work.
Overall the location was exactly what I needed, access to taxis and ride share is excellent and its proximity to MSAC was exactly what I required for the competition I was involved in over the weekend.
The apartment was cozy and mostly had everything we needed. The access to a dryer was a god send. Having fast internet was also very helpfull. I suggest getting a TV that has access to streaming services. Also there is probably no need to have a dvd player. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Thanks.
