The Lauretana Cottage - Heart of Bowral w/ pool!

Behind imposing gates Lauretana Cottage can be found positioned in a Burradoo garden estate only 5 minutes’ drive from Bowral town centre. The quintessential Southern Highlands estate, Lauretana cottage features a large solar-heated swimming pool, perfectly manicured gardens, air conditioning and heating throughout. Visiting friends and family for an overdue getaway, weddings or just wanting to bring the family together, we welcome you.
House Rules:
*Check-in: After 3:00 pm
*Checkout: 10:00 am
*No smoking allowed
*Strictly No parties or events allowed
*No Pets allowed
* The home can accommodate up to 4 guests with the sofa bed upon request, with a fee of $140. Please let us know upon booking if this option is required.

Additional Rules:
*As per the Short Term Legislation Act 2020 NSW, all guests are required to obey these rules. For extra guests/day visitors, we must be informed for liability purposes.

*Strictly no parties, and unfortunately we cannot host weddings on our grounds. We do not allow parties or events of any sort. The maximum amount of guests allowed to sleep in this property is FOUR people, however, we do allow day visitors of up to TWO people. No more than a maximum of SIX people are allowed in the property at any given time.

*Only the guests staying at the property are permitted to be present. If you wish to have visitors in addition to booked guests, you must advise us in writing prior to your stay and ensure you receive written permission.

*This home is a strictly no-smoking property. If any of our cleaners find any form of cigarette ash, butts or smell cigarettes in the home, we could issue a $500 fine.

*This is a domestic residence and we love our neighbours. We do not allow loitering or loud noise outside of the premises or inside of the premises. We ask for minimal noise especially after 9 pm.

*STRA Rules - By booking this home you automatically agree to all the STRA terms and conditions that are applicable to guests. You also agree that if you do break any of the house rules you will be asked to leave and no refund of the unused nightly rates will be returned.

*Check-in/Check-out - We cannot stress enough the importance of checking out on time. Our regular check-in time is after 3 pm and check-out time is before to 10 am. If you wish to have an earlier check-in or later check-out, please reach out to us first. Please note, there may be a charge.

*Changing of Dates Terms & Conditions
- Requests to change booking dates may only be accommodated if check-in is more than 1 month away.
- This is subject to approval and we reserve the right to decline any requests.
- Please note that there may be a surcharge to change the dates.
- Any changes to bookings are subject to approval and we ask all guests to reach out to us first.

Things to Know:

*Check-in details will be sent either the night before checking in, or the morning of check-in for security reasons.

* We only provide 1 set of keys for each stay. We do not have extra sets.

*Please note, there is no wifi in this home.

*If you are in need of beach towels for your stay, we can provide them to you for a fee of $20 per towel. Just let us know how many towels you will be needing and we can get this organised before your stay!

Located a 5 minutes drive to Bowrals Main Street, Laurentana Cottage is quintessential Southern Highlands charm. Both the house and the cottage are perfect for wedding photography and we pride ourselves on accommodating bridal parties who wish to utilise our home and grounds for photography.

The Estate is incredibly private and secluded behind large, gated manicured gardens.

The property also features a large solar heated pool.

Lauretana House and Cottage is equipped with all the luxury requirements you may need and more including

- Nespresso machines

- Smeg appliances

- Luxury bathroom amenities

- Hotel quality linens and towels

- The main residence features heating and cooling.

- The cottage features a split system air-conditioning and electric heating

- Champagne and swiss chocolates on arrival

- Travel cot, and high chair for your children

THE COTTAGE

The cottage sleeps a maximum of 4 adults and features:

- Master bedroom with queen bed

- Living & dining room with sofa bed. Note due comfort of our guests, the setup of the sofa bed is upon request. As we only have one lounge in the cottage, if set up as a sofa bed this minimises space in this area.

We love having guests who want to visit the highlands for weddings, or want to have a reception elsewhere and utilise our property for wedding photography, or accommodation for after the ceremony / reception.
