Very nice space! We especially enjoyed the rooftop amenities! The streets are loud, which was expected for downtown LA. Highly recommend staying here.

Really enjoyed the stay! Home was very clean and quiet! Rooftop pool is great place to relax! Gym has a variety of equipment. Check in and check out was very simple and easy! no problems at all throughout the stay everything went smooth! Definitely plan to book here again!

The apartment itself is nice. It’s roomy and accommodating. Our family of five had plenty of space to sleep, cook, eat and having 2 bathrooms was very convenient. However, the traffic outside is so loud. We heard people yelling from the streets, cars driving and backfiring and inexplicable banging noises at literally all hours of the night. Parking is in a lot behind the building and is only $12/day, but it expires at 6am, so we had to get up early every morning to pay for the day. The building is old, so the hot water took literally an hour to warm for a shower in the bathroom with 2 sinks. The other bathroom seemed fine. The building itself seems pretty quiet. We didn’t really see any other tenants. The rooftop access is really nice. There are pools, fire pits, a gym, ping pong table, foosball, grills, and a nice city view. All in all, it was a comfortable stay, close to Universal Studios, The Broad Museum, Angels Flight, shopping, dining and the freeway.

It's a "one off" but comfortable

It was a little tough finding the entrance. Matheus was readily available to meet me in the entrance and assist with the room and its amenities. There's restaurants within walking distance and I would consider staying there again.

Very nasty and dirty . Checking was 3:pm but as at 3:30pm the were still cleaning the room. The smell so bad which made me not to check inn and rather looked for a hotel nearby. I will not recommend family especially with kids. Do not stay

Bad communication and responsibilities unclear.

Communication was bad, responsibilities of employees completely unclear. Key never worked at the front door. Even after checking out at 8am in the morning I get messages that the door is locked and the cleaners need to get in. If things don’t work out as planned don’t expect anyone to resolve it. Not what we expected, would not recommend.

I checked in at 3 pm and immediately noticed the property was not well-maintained; the lobby smelled of urine, and the cleanliness of the premises was questionable. Upon entering my room, I discovered that the toilet was clogged. I promptly called the property manager, who arranged for the maintenance team to address the issue later in the day. Since I had to leave for a business meeting, I was not present when they came to fix it. Unfortunately, when I returned late that night, I found that while the toilet had been repaired, the maintenance team had left the bathroom floor covered in contaminated water. I contacted the manager again, only to be told that the cleaning team would not be available until the following morning. Given the condition of the room and the lack of prompt attention to this matter, I was very disappointed with my stay and ultimately decided to cancel my reservation.

The promotion is far better than the reality

This apartment's website is beautifully designed, but the actual service is extremely poor. The residence is close to the road, and due to poor soundproofing, it is particularly noisy at night. Additionally, the personnel's service is inadequate, lacking basic assistance to guests and exhibiting unfriendliness. Safety measures are also lacking, allowing external individuals to enter freely. In summary, it leaves a very unpleasant experience.

Pay Extra for a Chain if you can. The place had character. The onsite staff (1 guy was interesting). Do not walk barefoot. Cold shower, uneven beds, and very loud. There is some sort of night club on the street level. You can not come & go as you please. You must call a number and someone will come back from where they are and let you in the building. The pool had all sorts of dirt floating around. The blinds are not light proof and someone thought it was a good idea to hang lights outside each room window and keep them on all night. Our issues got a cleaner room, but the experience is one I would never repeat.

the road noise is serious.

I can't communicate with the staff, and the road noise is serious. There is a problem with the electrical system. The center of the bed matris was so soft that it was personally uncomfortable. 1. I didn't receive an e-mail telling me to reply with a copy of my passport before checking in after the reservation confirmation mail. This e-mail arrived on the second day. I checked out on this day. I didn't receive any information about checking in, and I couldn't use Wi-Fi. 2. Worst of all, the soundproofness of the windows was noise on the road all night. The windows of this house didn't serve as any sound insulation. 3. The unused wall outlet kept making a ticking noise. 4. The center of the matris was bent out and my back was uncomfortable. 5. Overall, it's clean and the location of the city center is an advantage.

BEWARE. We were in town for our sister's wedding and thought this looked like an upscale, comfortable and updated apartment that was within a block of the wedding venue. Boy were we wrong!!! As a guest in this building you are given a key fob that only works to access your actual apartment. NOT the building. You have to wait to be buzzed in every time after you leave and come back. The outside area is filthy and the sidewalks have human feces and urine everywhere. There is a ring camera doorbell on the outside of the unit so someone knows when you are coming/going. We felt as though our belongings were not safe and we could be robbed while attending the wedding events. Additionally, while inside the apartment, there is no deadbolt or latch to keep people from coming in. The window coverings did not have black out shades so it was bright inside even at night. The paint/tile, furniture and overall craftsmanship was very poor. Washer is a front loader and was moldy. Cell phones have spotty service inside the building. Overall it was a terrible experience and I would never recommend it!
