Välkommen till vår moderna stuga på en 5 tunnland stor egendom med en äppelodling. Panoramautsikten över Mt Shasta är oöverträffad och kan avnjutas från den vidsträckta terrassen, vardagsrummet, matsalen och sovrummet. Kabinen har nyligen renoverats, apparater uppgraderats, alla fönster bytts ut och inställningen är lugn och ganska. Terrassen har en gasgrill, sittplatser utomhus och ett paraply för inomhus / utomhusliv. Vi är belägna i Hammond Ranch, 9 mil norr om centrum av Shasta.

Kabinen byggdes av Bens föräldrar i början av 80-talet och renoverades när vi tog över den som familjhem. Apparaterna har uppgraderats, alla fönster byts ut och möblerna nyligen köpt. Nya handdukar, sängkläder, madrasser, mattor och badrumsgolv ger hytten en fräsch känsla. Den vedeldade spisen skapar en mysig atmosfär och värmer stugan väl på vintern. Det finns också en monitorvärmare om det behövs. Golvplanet är öppet med en loftliknande känsla.

Vi har en offsetpolicy och vi erbjuder ett sortiment av tofflor för din komfort. Ingen rökning eller husdjur.

Totalt kan huset sova 16 personer. Detta förutsätter att två personer sover tillsammans i hela, drottning eller kung bäddar och bryts ned enligt följande:

1. övervåningen sovrummet har en king size-säng: 2 personer
2. övervåningen rum har en queen size-säng: 2 personer
3. övervåningen loftet har en dubbelsäng: 1 person (2 är möjligt men mysigt och inte räknat)
4. på övervåningen gemensamt utrymme fäll ut soffan har en full storlek säng: 2 personer
5. nedervåningen vardagsrummet veck ut soffan har en queen size-säng: 2 personer
6. nedre våningssäng med en rulla: 3 barn eller 2 vuxna (Våningssängarna är för barn, men vuxna kan sova på bottenvåningen och bottenvåningen. En vuxen kan inte sova på den övre våningssängen på grund av viktbegränsningen på 80 kg.)

Ovanstående uppgår till 12 personer, i huvuddelen av huset.

Vi har ett extra, separat rum som kallas "Cabin Suite". Det är anslutet till huset och är lite mer privat. Det delar badrummet på bottenvåningen. Vi debiterar en extra $ 125 / natt för detta rum. Det sover fyra personer på följande sätt:

7. en drottningssäng: 2 personer
8. loft w / två enkelsängar: 2 barn eller 2 vuxna

Snowbound Birthday for my Brother

The property was fantastic. Gorgeous views of Mt Shasta from the living room. Great access to groceries and restaurants in Weed. We went to Shasta Ski Park and had a wonderful time playing in the snow. The weather was clear.until the day we left.when the snow came, absolutely beautiful. Had a great time! Plenty of room if you have a large group.

Excellent Cabin

From the very start, the cabin owners were very friendly and professional. The cabin was very well kept, it was super clean and a in a wonderful location. It had an amazing view of Mount Shasta. We had a great experience with them and hope to rent this cabin again in the future.

Family getaway

It was a very beautiful and peaceful location with an incredible 360 view. The home is very nice and well-kept. The rules I felt were very fair and reasonable. Actually, much more reasonable than the last Vrbo I stayed. When I planned the trip, I had a baby in a crib. I was happy to see that there was a sleeping place for her available. We ended up not needing it because she had just grown out of it by the time we made our trip, but it was nice to see that it was a full size crib and not just a pack and play. In fact, my only criticism (a very minor criticism) is the garbage. There were only two inside bins for sorting and the outside bins that you empty the garbage into are not labelled and therefore it's a bit of a guessing game as to which goes where. So my only suggestion would be to have separate labeled bins in-house for the glass-garbage-paper-soda/food cans so you can presort and labelling on the bins outside.

Nature Filled Getaway

Beautiful setting, nice set up. Easy check-in, great communication. We were there just a couple of days but enjoyed our time at the house. Would recommend to families and groups looking to reconnect. Great property to connect with the outdoors.

Great Cabin with awesome views

We were total 12 family members and stayed for the weekend. The location of the cabin is great, near to highway/Grocery stores and eateries. The cabin itself is equipped with everything and kept very clean. Justine/Ben were very accommodating and helpful with all the requests. We will definitely plan to book it again.

Great cabin for all ages!

This was our second stay at this cabin, we liked it so much! It's a fun place with everything you need to cook meals and relax after a long day playing in the snow. Its so close to the ski resort and Bunny Flats and close to town. The property itself it private and beautiful and well kept. We can't wait to stay there again!

Extended family vacation

We had a wonderful stay and Ben and Justine's. The house is clean and well-appointed. The view of Mt Shasta from the living room is fantastic! We were a group of 11, ranging in age from 2 to 80 and the main house was able to accommodate us all. The pullout sofas were quite comfortable. We particularly appreciated that the cabin was kept empty for the day before and the day after our stay for Covid prevention. Ben was quick to respond with any questions we had. We will definitely consider returning in the future.

Wonderful for families with kids of all ages

Owners provided plenty of what we needed for linens and necessities. The location was perfectly out of the way but close to any store you would need. Gorgeous view of Mount Shasta! We we're lucky enough to come when the property was a Winter Wonderland! We highly recommend it and can't wait to stay here again!

Great place!

We very much enjoyed our stay in the "Modern Cabin" over the New Year's holiday. INCREDIBLE views of Mt. Shasta. Lots of different sleeping places if you have a large party. Great outdoor space, very private. 25-30 minutes to Mt. Shasta Ski Park if you are into that sort of thing. The owners clearly love the house and care for it very nicely. Recommended!

Three magical nights

We booked this amazing modern cabin on very short notice and rolled in from a tough camping trip in the coastal redwoods. We were met with everything we could’ve possibly imagined in terms of Creature comforts. The daily view of the mountain was indeed therapy for the soul. The perfect combination of rustic old cabin and modern new Innovations.. Even the books in the library span 100 years of knowledge. We are retired CEOs with old hippie souls and absolutely fell in love with this place. We will be back again in the fall for sure .

Beautiful location with stunning views of Mt. Shasta with a very charming modern cabin feel!

Perfect Northern California destination home with beautiful views of Mt. Shasta and plenty of room for a large family or multi-family vacations in the mountains. The location is just far enough of the beaten path but yet close enough to everything you need for an alpine adventure. The cabin is very family friendly with a nursery room that has amazing views of Mt. Shasta with plenty of room for very young children to play while you soak in the surrounding beauty. Would definitely take my family here again when visiting Mt. Shasta!

Beautiful view, fantastic location

My husband and I had a really great stay at this place. The view of Mt. Shasta from the cozy living room was magnificent. We had three sunny days which were gorgeous and then three stormy days which were equally amazing. The house and property itself was beautiful and relaxing. It has the most well stocked kitchen we have seen so far at any VRBO we have been to yet, and we have been to many. We were at the cabin during Thanksgiving and made most of our own meals but there are plenty of great options for food and groceries in nearby Weed and Mt. Shasta. They are very caring and helpful hosts. They provide a thorough list of recommended restaurants, site seeing options/ hiking, and other tips.

Great views and lovely space

The view is exactly as advertised...no arrival to see that pics were taken to look like property is closer to Mt. Shasta than it is. Near by places for pick up of food. No shoes in house policy was a surprise, but not really an issue. n+m

Great!

We had a great stay in ‘Modern Cabin.’ We were there during the time of the Carr fire, and while the smoke definitely obscured the views, it didn’t diminish our fun. The cabin is well located for easy access to lots of activities. Lake Siskiyou was thoroughly enjoyed, as were the myriad of hiking trails in the immediate area. While there is no air conditioning, the system for natural cooling works very well and we were never uncomfortable, even with outside temps in the upper 80’s.

The house was designed and built by Ben's parents and we took it over as a family home in 2016. We renovated and made some updates but stayed true to the character of this wonderful cabin. We love the view so we enlarged the windows and built a very large terrace that faces the mountain. We also turned the green house into a solarium so we could enjoy the space.
