Great vacation.

This was a beautiful cabin, very spacious. Really clean besides behind facet in one of the bathrooms was some mold. All in all it was a great cabin to stay in. Definitely recommend this cabin.

Friends Weekend

What a great gathering place. We had a group of friend and spouses gather this weekend. The house had all we needed for pricacy and comfort. Definitely looking to come back again.

Great Cabin to stay in

We had a large group of family and friends staying at the cabin for my sons wedding. We had the best time at the cabin. Kitchen was equipped with everyrhing you would need to cook a meal. Plenty of riom for everyone. Great place to stay.

Family trip

Our family enjoyed the spaciousness of the cabin and the views. The cabin was clean and well stocked in the kitchen to provided everything that we needed for cooking for a large group. The highlight was having a bear come up onto the porch by the kitchen door.

Family Christmas

The property is everything stated in the description; I would have appreciated cleaner things (linens, etc.) Any issues we had were handled very efficiently by Fireside Chalet. We had a large group of 17 adults and a 16-month-old. This property was not set up for children; I know how to look for that from now on. Bring more trash bags and towels. We loved the cabin being decorated for the holidays. The location was great!

Great experience.

We had a great time definitely coming back!! Very please with everything in general, we did found some dishes that needed to be clean but order than that everything was nice, the communication with property Manager was excellent.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

Love spending time with all the Kids and Grands. This Cabin is huge, very clean, absolutely beautiful. We had a Mama Bear and 3 cubs take a stroll thru the front yard. This cabin is amazing and absolutely the best price around for 6 bedroom- 6 Bath!!! WE Definitely will be back to this cabin, the best we have ever rented!!

What a place ! Wow we had the best stay of our life.

Chalet(Katie’s Cabin) was awesome In the middle of woods, walk down the valley was like heaven with streams flowing through the pebbles surrounded by beautiful flowers. Kids enjoyed the hot tub, pool room, they had a ball. Even the surrounding places were beautiful once you come out of gated community Shops were not that far, Pigeon forge was in reasonable distance Net net it was a ideal location and very satisfactory cabin

Russell family getaway

We had a little family getaway with my parents, my brother and some of his family, and two special cousins from Virginia. The cabin is absolutely beautiful. Plenty of room for a large group. There are awesome views from multiple points of the cabin. It was decorated very nice. We would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to others for large groups.

AMAZING !!!

The WHOLE cabin was nothing short of amazing! The way it was so comfortable and was exactly how the web page described and showed made it even better. Really the pictures does no justice because it's even better in person !!!

50th anniversary celebration

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cabin! It had plenty of space to spread out and play games and hang out with the family. The decks were great and also having a bathroom in each bedroom. The only thing I would suggest is going through the kitchen cabinets and doing a thorough cleaning of all the stuff because there were several things that we had to rewash during our stay before we used them. Other than that, everything was perfect and we would definitely stay here again.

Nice Big Home

This is a beautiful home. It is really huge, just as stated on the site. The home was clean with a few minor missed areas, like under the toaster. Easy miss. Overall, was very clean. The kitchen could use some cushions on the benches, and the hot tub could use a step stool, but other than that I wouldn't change a thing. We all had plenty of towels, soap, and supplies. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking items and even spices. Having the extra storage for wine and beer was a plus. We had everything needed for our stay all we added was family, friends and food and had a wonderful stay. This house does seem to have a daily morning bear visitor, so guests need to be aware when coming and going. This is a home I would love to stay at again.

Amazing Cabin

I came here with my partner and a group of friends as a birthday celebration and it was an amazing experience! This cabin is beautiful and the view from the balcony is unmatched! Would definitely stay again. The literal ONLY things that were downsides at all were: the driveway is a bit steep so make sure your car can handle that kind of thing, and the walls and floors are thin so make sure everybody is mindful of others with noise levels at night! Just something to consider when you book, however nonetheless, this cabin was so great.

Pleasant Stay

Overall, the stay was nice. There was enough space to accommodate our family of 18, which initially was supposed to be 15. The views were amazing.The staff was very friendly and responsive. Kelly checked in with me regularly. The cons were steep driveway and a mouse was in the house, which had droppings in certain areas upon arriving. We purchased traps, although I'm not sure if we caught it or not.

Couldn't have asked for more!!!

So much room for our large family! Everything we could have asked for in our Family weekend get a way. We will select this cabin again every time if it is available. We were so Amazed at the size of the cabin and comforts that we had! Our grandchildren felt like they were in a castle. The older kids could separate when needed and enjoy things on the different levels or we could all come together when we wanted to. The only negatives we encountered, and they were so minor, were the driveway and lack of yard. The kids really didn't mind as they had plenty to do inside!! Thank you for sharing this amazing cabin with our Family!!

Great place to stay with multiple families

We thoroughly enjoyed Katie’s Cabin. The drive way to the house is a challenge but doable. The location was great. It was close enough to visit Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg with a short drive. The property was spacious enough for 3-4 families. Maintenance was onsite for the few issues we had which were nothing major. There were tons of cooking supplies and a whole extra fridge for drinks. We made a lot of meals so that was nice. The hot tub is a little dated but it functioned well. The kids loved the pool table. It could use a few new pool sticks though as they were pretty bad. Ultimately, I would definitely recommend this house.

Birthday Behavior

Property was beautiful. Check in and check out was very easy process. Property was clean. Cabin was clean. No problems with bugs. Water pressure was an issue but water stayed hot. Butane for grill was empty when we arrive but one call to office and it was quickly replaced. NO CELL SERVICE. That sucked but it allowed for more family time. Remote for dining area was out of batteries but we didn’t watch television so we didn’t contact office about it. Tub in my bedroom was unable to be used because it leaked water into the bottoms bedroom. We only attempted to use the tub the last night. I’m sure if we had tried earlier in the stay, they would have fixed it. Made office aware of the issue on checkout. Overall, it was an awesome time. We saw a baby bear. Walked right across the parking lot in front of front door steps. It was sooooo awesome!! Would definitely stay here again

Large Cabin that seems to be falling apart

The cabin itself is a great size for a large group- it definitely had enough space and we liked the location. Also, the cabin company was responsive and easy to work with. Unfortunately, compared to many other VRBO sites I've stayed out, this is on the lower end. The cabin itself seems to be falling apart and not well maintained. Examples include: oven door not shutting, 3rd floor railing seems very unsafe and wobbly, leak under kitchen sink, tv downstairs not working, doorknobs all about to fall out, dirty floors, water damage is apparent in some bathrooms, the grill was so filthy we had to buy cleaner just to use it, etc. The pictures of the cabin are obviously old as now the trees are so large, they block 95% of the views. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but when we picked this cabin for the size and views, it's disappointing. They need to provide updated pictures to show the current state of the cabin. Also, the kitchen is not stocked at all. Most VRBO sites have basic spices on hand (at least salt n pepper).. this one has absolutely nothing. Maybe it's a Covid policy related, but it was frustrating that our last VRBO house had a stocked kitchen with everything and this cabin didn't have a lighter or a salt packet. Considering the number of cabins available in this area, I would not chose to come here again.

Very nice cabin in a great location. Accommodated 19 people easily.

This cabin accommodates 19 people very easily and was a very nice cabin. Check-in was fairly simple. The staff was quite friendly. We noticed several bulbs were out in the kitchen when we first arrived. Maintenance responded pretty quickly and only needed to replace one or two bulbs. He simply turned the others. We learned that those lights are very bright, and also unscrewed a couple to turn them off for more comfortable lighting. So, check that before you call maintenance. There were a few things in the cabin that could use attention: ripped shower curtains, wiggly/broken kitchen chairs (one chair actually broke completely while someone was sitting in it), silverware (bring your own. Not many forks/spoons), and no baking sheets. I didn't mention the utensils/baking sheets to staff when we left but did mention the shower curtains and chairs, and I was told those things would be addressed with the cabin owner. We did get to see the resident bear within an hour or two of arriving at the cabin. He (or she) walked right up the hill next to the hot tub, then around by the garbage/entrance door and up the hill by the driveway. Really cool! Much to our disappointment, we didn't see him again though. My other suggestion would be to arrive at this cabin in daylight. The road and driveway are very steep and curvy. It is best to get a feel for it during the day. Hope this review helped!

accommodating on space but.

there was a leak downstairs - called - someone came out - said they fixed it - but did not -they did not Shopvac or vacuum up water in the floor which was saturated. There was no follow-up call. There was a musty damp smell downstairs. Due to the weak we were unable to use the laundry room downstairs. And the water leak was near the kid's room bunkbed (5-year-old) so I had to constantly clean their feet and remind them not to step in the wet area of carpet. The carpet was not only dirty it was nasty. The kitchen cabinet doors and drawers felt like they were loose and about to come off the hinges. the hot tub took forever to heat up and only one set of jets worked. When I discussed the matter with Fireside they basically indicated the rate was so cheap - so, therefore, I became upset due to them indicating since I booked a cheap rate, I should endure the issues. I was not happy. I will not choose Fireside Chatelets in the future. Also, I got emails form VRBO, Fireside Chatelets and Bark something guard shack. It was too much - 3 different sets of emails. I stay in BNB/s often. This by far has been the worst experience. a personal score 3 out of 10.
