Everything was great. The only exception is the fobs. Having to pick up and drop off the fobs offsite was an inconvience. Also, making sure you carried your fob on your person was too easy to forget.

Never again

Fab situation was a nightmare. Never again. Will only go through Compass Resorts. Thought that was what I was doing but the nightmare began when told had to go 5 miles down road to pick up fabs and the same to return them. One of the fabs did not go to our unit and was told to go down there again. Unbelievable. Air went out and they did come fix it quickly. It was a backed-up drain. Furniture not great. Rug and furniture were dirty. We love Silver Towers but Southern Vacations and unit did not meet up to what we have become to expect with Compass. Never again.

Terrible Property Management - Lovely Condo

We will stay at this tower again however not managed by Southern. They were terrible to communicate with, gave key fobs and did not say what they were for, gave incorrect info on how to reserve beach chairs and umbrellas. Not to mention picking up and returning packets was inconvenient.

Review

Overall a great property. The check in process is a little bit of a hassle only because you have to pick up key fob at another location. Also there is no ramp for beach access. So I had to carry the wagon down the steps. Still overall would recommend.

Great stay, beautiful condo and amazing beach

The condo was so nice. We loved our stay. The only recommendation i have is to put the bracelets and key fabs in the condo. It was a pain to have to go get them and take them back to the lock box. Other than that it was perfect!

Great place

We enjoyed our visit. Room was clean and smelled fresh upon arrival. Had a minor issue with 2 out of 3 toilets not wanting to flush. Issue was resolved quickly and efficiently. We will be back!

Condo was just as it was described, the wifi was hit and miss but everything was just as described. Beautiful beach, condo was very clean and updated, really close to everything. Would absolutely stay here again.

Stayed with our kids and my mom for spring break. Place was wonderful- well furnished and you can’t beat the views from the balcony.

BEST resort. Won't stay anywhere else.

The resort itself was absolutely amazing. So clean.....and very kind staff. The condo blew us away. It was absolutely beautiful a 10/10. The view was just PERFECT. The condo was as clean as clean can be. It was everything we wanted from this vacation and so much more. We won't stay anywhere else after this experience!!! Also, location was on point. Within 10 minutes of the best restaurants, shopping, and fun.

For the money paid it could have been better

The two biggest issue wa one , the jetted tub was absolutely gross when we turned on the jets as a. Unch of tiny black flakes came out resulting in us not using it which was a big let down. The second was that we were told ONLY one window contractor would be there to take measurements from 2-4. There was one that showed up which was fine because then another one showed up at 530 without notice. Overall we have been to destim in the past and will return but we will not stay in the unit in the furniture.

Great stay!

We enjoyed our trip to Destin and the condo was perfect for our needs. Plenty of space for our group of five. The beach was beautiful and the view from our balcony was amazing. Would definitely stay here again!

Great Getaway

We LOVED this condo! It provided a beachfront view, lots of natural light, and sounds of the waves to put us to sleep at night! We had quick access to the beach and a pool. Besides a couple minor maintenance issues, this place was perfect for a relaxing getaway on the beach! We would definitely stay there again!

Destin Perfection

Well, no one could have accomplished this for us, but we absolutely were gifted with near perfection in weather, praise be to Christ. It was a nice condo, not quite as well stocked as some we've had, but we definitely weren't suffering with what was there. We were close to everything we needed and plenty to enjoy. Beach and pool access were phenomenal.

Unit needs some maintenance

The unit is nice but needs a little maintenance. One sink in the master bathroom has a broken drain stopper and can’t be used. Also the smoke detector in the master bedroom is missing with exposed wires. We arrived after my midnight and had to drive to a lockbox off the property to get a key fob to open the exterior doors to the condo complex. As it turns out, the fob hadn’t been programmed so we were stuck outside for about 30 minutes at 1:30 in the morning trying to get someone on the phone. When I finally got a call from the rental company, she couldn’t get her contact at the condo on the phone. Fortunately a maintenance person happened by & let us in. The rental company came & got the fob to program it the next day. The BIG problem though was only being given 1 key fob. All the exterior doors require use of the fob to get in & if one person needs to go to the room everyone else is locked out. It was extremely inconvenient. The grounds are beautiful, the pool is beautiful, and the view is amazing but we wouldn’t choose this condo again because of the key fob situation.

Beautiful beach.

Loved the location. Right on the beach & near everything. Grandkids loved the pool. Grills were nice for grilling our last might there. Had an issue with key fobs. One did not work at all & other one was sporadic. Kind of a nuisance. But managed. Loved the place & would stay there again.

Million Dollar View!!

Wow!! The view was amazing. Property was great and fit our family of eight nicely. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Destin. The beach was clean, beautiful and the water was amazing. Definitely going again next year!!

Issues with Cleanliness and Management

To start, before arriving there was an issue with management not returning phone calls for questions. Upon arrival into the condo we noticed how terribly unclean it was. Floors were sandy ( which was expected) , toilets had urine on the bowl, sand still in the shower, furniture was dusty including hair and bedding was stained in a few places. There were dirty fingerprints on light switches and doors and the place looked like it hadnt been cleaned at all. We contacted the rental company and sent pictures of the condo and the lady managing our unit sent more cleaners out to clean again. They did arrive within the hour (cleaning somewhat better) and changed the bedding. After our first night we noticed that the shower in the second bed/bathroom didn't get hot water, there was a broken faucet in the master and our kitchen sink was leaking also. We reported this to management on a Sunday but noone came out to fix until the Tuesday. They did replace the kitchen faucet but the bathroom shower still only ran barely luke warm water. We felt this was totally unacceptable especially being that our country is in the middle of a pandemic and this rental company didnt even provide basic cleaning let alone sanitizing to make this unit more germ free. This unit definitely wasnt cheap to rent and we didnt receive the service that we paid. The property was nice and the unit was actually very beautiful despite being dirty. We would definitely stay at Silver Beach Towers again but not in a unit managed by Southern Rental Vacations
