En av vÀldigt fÄ licensierade B & B söder om Bred. Detta charmiga kökshus frÄn 1830 ligger i historiska Charleston i det mest eftertraktade distriktet "South of Broad". Platsen Àr tyst och ett kvarter frÄn hamnen i Charleston och ett halvt kvarter frÄn vackra White Point Gardens. Det Àr gÄngavstÄnd till restauranger, shopping och underhÄllning.

Det möblerade kökshuset renoverades 2016.

En stor första vÄningen innehÄller ett vardagsrum / matplats med tvÄ stora eldstÀder. Ett pentryskök har en Wolf-serie och huva, Subzero-kylskÄp och en Bosch-diskmaskin och Carrera-marmorrÀknare. PÄ andra vÄningen finns ett sovrum med dubbelsÀng, ett renoverat hallbad, en mysig hÀll och en solbelyst solporch, perfekt för en studie eller koppla av pÄ sen eftermiddag. Den tredje vÄningen erbjuder en master svit med en queen size-sÀng, klÀdkammare, tvÀttmaskin / torktumlare och ett vackert badrum med en vacker marmor och glasdusch.

Absolutely loved our stay in the kitchen house in Charleston!! It was our first time in Charleston and found the location perfect for us. Quiet safe area and easy walking to many sites. The beds were very comfortable and a/c was so nice. Nice outside eating area and fantastic updated kitchen!

This was a great property in a lovely residential neighborhood. In the description I believe they state it’s one of the only rental properties allowed in that neighborhood and you can tell - it’s quiet and beautiful with a distinct lack of commercialism, which is refreshing! The owners were very communicative - we had a small A/C issue on the third floor and they were immediately responsive and came over themselves to help fix the issue. We were in town for a wedding and would absolutely stay here again.

The charming Kitchen House gives a wonderful feel for Old Charleston. It's one of the best rentals we've ever stayed in. Every detail of the three-story house was elegant. The accommodations were comfortable and the location was perfect for viewing Charleston's magnificent houses.

Perfect stay

The kitchen house was absolutely perfect for our couples getaway! We loved the location in a quiet neighborhood with some amazing historic architecture, but was also easily walkable to all the fabulous restaurants and shopping in the Broad street area. The weather wasn’t the most cooperative while we were there, but the house was a cozy getaway from the rain. Would absolutely stay again!

Terrific historical property

The Rutledge Summer Kitchen was a fantastic 2 BR/2BA quaint property right off the Battery. It’s well-equipped, has plenty of lounging space, extremely comfortable beds, and nicely decorated. One of the best I’ve booked over many years. So much better than staying in a forgettable hotel.

Charming Historic Property

A charming historic property, extremely clean and great location. The owner provided very nice touches such as waters in fridge, coffee bar, snack basket, and bathroom amenities. We had a wonderful stay! Would not recommend for anyone who has a problem with stairs, but if that's not an issue, this is a perfect spot to enjoy all that Charleston has to offer!

A Great Trip!!

Two couples from the desert Southwest spent six nights at the Kitchen House and loved everything. The house was clean, well furnished(including a bottle of wine and soft drinks) and couldn’t have been more convenient. Lovely location

Beautiful home in a beautiful part of Charleston. Check in and check out process couldn’t have been easier. Good size and layout for a family of 4. Would have preferred more towels and washcloths for a family of 4 but we didn’t request additional items.

Wonderful beds!!

Good property with good location and communication with Emily, but by far the best part was the supremely comfortable beds! We would come back again for those100%. We would also not try to navigate the drive next time. It was doable, but if we came again, I’d line up the parking passes in advance and make sure I was clear on the street parking rules. So if you don’t have a small car, it may be worth lining up the passes Emily will provide.

Lovely house in historic, charming neighborhood. House was absolutely perfect for two couples to enjoy Charleston Food and Wine festival weekend. Amazing, Peaceful Location

Lovely home in which to immerse yourself in Charleston history! Right next to the Battery; beautiful strolls to amazing restaurants and shops. We had a car, but choose to walk 10-15 minutes instead of spending an hour finding a place to park at the restaurants. This is a 200 year old home so be prepared for the creaky floors (some original to the home, which I loved) but the kitchen and bathrooms are beautifully updated and gorgeous! A great experience and transformation back in time!

I have hosted for 8 years and have never had an issue until recently and I feel this added protection is necessary.

This property is legally licensed in the city as a short term rental. It has passed many requirements to be licensed.

The kitchen house is a historic kitchen house to the main house that was constructed in 1830. The main floor has two large fireplaces that were originally used for the cooking / laundry for the main house.

The kitchen house is very charming with lovely windows. The entire house has very recently under gone a complete renovation with high end appliances and marble counter tops and bathroom fixtures.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Enjoy the quiet south of broad neighborhood, close to parks and beautiful gardens. We are within walking distance to King Street with fabulous shopping and many fine restaurants. There are several beaches nearby as well as a wonderful aquarium, children's museum and Charleston Museum, providing many hours of entertainment. Because we appreciate our quiet neighborhood and we're sure you will too, no events are allowed. The outdoor courtyard is limited to 9PM. Off street parking is available for one (1) car.
