Familjestil hem med underbara underhållande egenskaper för NW livsstil. Denna mycket privata egendom ligger på 15 tunnland med utsikt över den lokala terrängen med vandrade kullar och älgängar. Nära tillträde till floderna Sol Duc och Calawah. Närliggande statsskog, Olympic National Park, Sol Duc heta källor, många strandstigar och Stilla havet. Ligger inom 10 minuter från Forks Washington och byggdes 2007 på andra tillväxtmark med liten bäck och skog inklusive lite återstående gammal tillväxt. Stora täckta däck och runt kör med massor av parkering. Ytterligare gräsmark i lokaler och avskilt för camping och familjens friluftsliv. Elektrisk 50 amp och 30 amp RV-anslutningar och parkering.
Fullt utrustat kök, med sittplatser och middagsartiklar för 12, inklusive Weber BBQ, anpassat matbord, antik bar två i full storlek en liten dryck kylskåp och en bröstfrys på plats. Två TV: er, en stor skärm i vardagsrummet och en i garage / rec-rummet inkluderar direkt-TV, Hulu, UFC och x-box.
4 sovrum har två bäddar och ett har en våningssäng som varje uppsätter lodge-stil med stort garderob. Sovrummet har två dubbelsängar och master badrum med duschkabin och stort badkar. Tre ytterligare fullständiga bad i offentlig stil.
Gas spis i familjerum med tillgång till täckt ingång och veranda / däck. Stora fönster mot trädgården och omgivande land och anpassad brandring. Lång privat kör utanför hwy 101 med gott om parkering och öppet gräsområde.

The home and property was immaculate. The home was a very modern with plenty of room for everyone. The back deck, the fire pit and the beautiful view is where we spent most of our time. Highly recommend to anyone with a big group.

Wedding

We had stayed here to gather our families for our wedding. Since options are limited to where our wedding was we wanted get creative and make our own family dinner. It was a perfect private location for our Wedding Dinner and for our family to stay in. Beautiful Views and amenities were beyond what I expected !

We loved staying at this house. It’s quite hard to find somewhere with 10 beds for our group, and this place was great! The only complaint was that we only had 9 towels that we could find in the house and could have used more washcloths as well. We only stayed for 2 nights

Amazing house and property!

The Lodge was beautiful and clean and had a lot of space for a big group. Our kids enjoyed playing some ping pong and relaxing in the game room before we headed out for a backpacking trip the next day. The long drive through the woods to get to the lodge makes this a nice, secluded spot with plenty of privacy. And it is just a few minutes from the center of town. I highly recommend this rental if you are in the area!

All the comforts of home and more! First Time using VRBO and the home owners were very helpful and answered any questions we had! Very nice Home with a great view! Everything was clearly labeled and clean. Instructions were posted which made everything easy! Will definitely use again if we are in the area!

Love This Place!

Very beautiful, clean and spacious home. Big bright windows and nice view. Private setting. House is very well organized and fully stocked. The owners thought of everything. The rec room was very fun, and the kids loved it. Comfortable beds, and plenty of them. Restaurants and stores are close by. Beaches and Olympic National Park attractions are convenient to reach. Highly recommend, and would definitely stay here again!

A Perfect Getaway at the Wild Duc Lodge

Our stay at the Wild Duc Lodge was nothing short of exceptional! Nestled amidst the serene beauty of Forks, this lodge offered the perfect blend of comfort and nature. The accommodations were spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully decorated, making us feel right at home the moment we walked in. The fully-equipped kitchen was a delight, allowing us to prepare our meals with ease. Waking up to the tranquil sounds of the surrounding forest and enjoying coffee on the deck was one of the highlights of our trip. The location is ideal—just a short drive to stunning beaches, hiking trails, and the charm of downtown Forks. The hosts were incredibly attentive and provided excellent recommendations for local activities. Their hospitality truly enhanced our stay. We couldn't have asked for a better place to unwind and reconnect with nature. We highly recommend the Wild Duc Lodge to anyone seeking a peaceful retreat.

A unique, luxurious place for larger family/group gatherings in a serene, secluded setting.

We are a group of backpackers sharing experiences for more than 25 years. Not all of us all the time, but a few core people through most of that time. Obviously, we all enjoy the outdoors and Wild Duc Lodge provided that “end of hiking week” celebration as we nursed our pains, shared our experiences and fellow-shipped in an amazing house that met so many of our needs and desires. Bathrooms (3 and ½) to cleanse our stinky bodies, a large washer/dryer to clean some of those trail soiled clothes, a kitchen (and so well equipped) to provide non-dehydrated nourishment and a home environment to pamper our aching bodies as we enjoyed the outdoor views. For the first time ever we had our end of hike meal/celebration IN A HOUSE--not a restaurant. An amazing dining room with a unique hand carved table that allowed all 13 of us to sit together (a little tight for the 13th, but so doable!) The steaks grilled to perfection on a super grill allowed this best ever meal! House and yard were appointed with art, landscaping and facilities to take advantage of views—whether rain or shine. Certainly a place to consider if ever in the area!

There was a countywide power outage the day we arrived. But the property manager was very responsive and did everything he could do to help us. The fact that there were local people who could come to the property and help us right away was huge since we have stayed in properties where that was not the case. Thankfully, the power came back on the following morning, and the rest of our stay was wonderful. The property is very secluded, and sitting on the porch looking out at the backyard was very peaceful. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and playing ping pong in the rec room. It's a very short drive to the town of Forks, and we went to the beach and to the Hoh Rainforest from there. Our multi-generational party had a very good stay there.

This was an amazing place!Beautiful inside and out. Our family really enjoyed our stay. Quiet, peaceful. The view was amazing. Convenient to Forks (stores, coffee shops, restaurants), access to mutilated outdoor activities (beaches, fishing, hiking, Hoh rain forest, SolDuc river/ hot springs).Very clean, with lots and lots of space and conveniences. Highly recommend!!

Being a Washington state fishing guide, I live in Forks all winter and spring for steelhead season. My wife of 35+ years and I have a home in the Yakima River valley near Ellensburg for the rest of the year. I operate a guide/ lodge service in winter and vacation rental from the Wild Duc during the spring and summer months. We both went fife high school and met shortly after, we have a family of 6, us and 3 Labradors that enjoy hunting and fishing year around.

Varför värden valde detta boende

After my first visit to Forks , then called the "Steelhead Capitol of the World" I knew I would someday be a resident. Now over 35 years later and 21 seasons of guiding these rivers we purchased our second home here. I feel the area has so much to offer the visitor just passing through that the combination or winter fishing and summer vacation travel made it an easy move.

The Wild Duc Lodge is situated down a long private drive and over looks the local landscape from a moderate elevated location giving it just enough tranquility and length of view to be special. A very quiet and serene landscape of local rainforest and meadows commonly grazed by Roosevelt elk herds. Morning local clouds and mist rise off the Sol Duc river giving a special touch. South Easterly view offer amazing sun rises and long shadows at sunset. Centrally located out on the NW Olympic Peninsula being close to the amenities of Parks, Ocean Beaches and five local salmon and steelhead rivers provide outdoor tranquility for all.
