This place is spectacular. It truly is a home away from home. We made a cross-country move and the house we were going to be living in was not ready. We booked this place for two weeks and it was absolutely perfect. The neighborhood is great and there is so much to do within a short distance from the property. It was perfect.

Clean, Comfortable and Convenient

Such an easy place to enjoy and great location. It was nice being able to use the garage for bike storage, Etc. Furniture was comfortable and plenty of towels provided. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent place to stay

We have stayed in many VRBO properties. This is one of the best. It was clean and comfortable. Very quiet neighborhood, close to everything.

Fantastic house and location. This was perfect for 6 adults and one child. Loved the front porch and back patio. Highly recommend this property.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. Washing the pots, pans, etc. took a long time though due to weak water pressure at the sink. We enjoyed playing air hockey in the garage but for a limited time bec the garage was filthy (dust, trash, cobwebs, etc.) For the amount we paid each night, we would have expected better. But overall, it was acceptable.

Great place, responsive owners

Everything was as the listing depicted. The living room, dining room and kitchen all open was great for connecting our two families as we cooked and hung out. Owners were very responsive even though they were camping.

The house is beautiful inside and out. Liked the master bedroom being on lower level. Loves the openness of the downstairs. Enjoyed coffee in the morning on the porch! Dana was great! We will definitely stay here again!

Immaculate & beautiful home in a beautiful town

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Fat Louie's in Coeur D'Alene - it's an amazing home, everything is new and clean and the home is beautifully decorated with many whimsical touches! The proximity to the town and lake is great and we even found a good brewpub within walking distance "Daft Badger" - great local spot. Can't say enough about the city in general, completely loved the lakefront, so clean and well designed and so very beautiful. Highly recommend and would love to come back some time for longer.

This house was nice and clean, but advertises it sleeps 10 but provides towels for 5 people. So with us having to use beach towels and then also wash I found this inconvenient. Then also only had one spare roll of toilet paper for the 3 bathrooms. I had messaged the host to ask how to get more, and did not get any response. Since I was moving my daughter to school there we happen to have a roll I took from her dorm. So other than not having extra towels or toilet paper the house was nice.

All it's rated as!

We wanted a place to stay with our friends while we visited the Coeur d'alene area. This home gave us the comfort we were looking for when we came in for the evening. The bed's were comfortable! The only thing that I would recommend is that they upgrade the pillows in the room at the top of the stairs ;-)

We had a blast!

Fat Louie's lived up to it's pictures and descriptions. The kitchen had the right supplies to make cooking easy. The front and back porches were wonderful additional spaces. The kitchen/dining/living room were perfect for sharing meals and watching a movie. They've given Fat Louie's an extra special touch that made us feel at home during our stay.

Perfect!

We loved everything about this vacation rental. It was a great set up, beautifully decorated and fully stocked with anything you could need or want on a vacation. It was cozy, comfortable and relaxing. We can’t wait to go back to CDA (when the weather allows us to enjoy the lake,) and stay here again. The only complaint I have is that the back gate doesn’t latch, so even though property is pet friendly, the yard isn’t pet safe.

Our Experience

When departing we emailed the owner that the garburetor wasn't working. We did not damage it, but the owner claimed repair on a damage insurance policy I HAD PAID FOR. She used a policy procured by renters for routine repairs to her revenue-producing personal property. And that without the decency to communicate with us about her intentions This is not honorable. Huge red flag!

The main living area is a great place to gather and be together. Unfortunately, fall had arrived so we didn't get to enjoy their outdoor spaces, but they looked very nice. Excellent communication with hosts.

Fantastic Home Base in Coeur d’Alene

We had a wonderful stay at this Coeur d’Alene property. The location is unbeatable, just minutes from downtown and the lake, making it super easy to explore the area. The home was clean, comfortable, and packed with thoughtful amenities. We loved the air hockey table and kayaks, which added a fun, active touch to our stay. One of our favorite features was the incredible coffee bar. It had everything a coffee lover could ask for. And the dog room? Absolutely adorable. It’s clear the hosts put a lot of care into creating a space that’s both stylish and welcoming. We’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Coeur d’Alene.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

This home was custom built in 2017. It is full of charm and detail. The home is ideally located. It features a full covered front patio and private outdoor entertaining area with new natural gas BBQ. The master is on the main level with a large en suite bathroom and large walk in closet. Open concept features a cook's dream kitchen with a deluxe gas stove/oven, lots of counter space and well stocked with high end pots and pans. The living room has a comfy sectional with two leather chairs and a 60 inch TV with cable, Netflix, HULU and Amazon Prime with many new releases. There is also a 1/2 bath and laundry room on the main level. Upstairs features two bedrooms. One has two queen beds, TV and walk in closet and the other has one bunk bed with a single/full bed combo*, a TV lounge and another bath are also upstairs. *One additional twin mattress is available
