Great stay!

The condo was very nice. It was so clean! It was stocked with anything that you would need for a few meals there. The location is very convenient to many attractions. I love the little snack and drink bar! I have stayed at Sugar Beach before and I am sure I will stay again! Perfect for us!

Short getaway

There was a guard shack to get onto the property and that process was super simple and efficient, on-site parking was plentiful The condo had everything the owner stated would be there , condo also had a nice homey feel to it which was nice , property was clean and well kept . Would certainly recommend !

Lovely and very clean condo with a great owner

We were very pleased with the cleanliness of this property and the decor was adorable. Overall, the condo itself was perfect. A few things though to keep in mind before you book: You must pay $25 to park there, when you arrive. The Property Officer is VERY grouchy too. So, when he tucked away the parking pass in a coupon book, we had no idea, bc he never said that he did. So, when we left to the store and arrived back, we didn't have the pass, and BOY, he let us have it. Eek. Also, ride the elevators at your own risk. They smell like burning wires and there is no air in them what so ever. Which wouldn't matter too much unless you were to get stuck in them. Well, that happened twice :( and they both were not operating at the same time once, where all had to trudge up 3 flights of stairs with numerous heavy beach bags, groceries, luggage, etc. Once, I waited at the elevator for 10 minutes bc I had too much to carry up the stairs. Finally, the doors opened and there were 3 women CRYING inside and a small toddler screaming, one woman began throwing up. They had been stuck in the hot elevator for 10 minutes. They were terrified and I vowed to never get on again. They actually told me and the others that were waiting to NOT get in. Lastly, at midnight one night, kids were going up and down the halls knocking on doors, as a joke. Not a restful sleep that night. But, these are not the condo owners fault. The condo was really pretty and clean, and they were nice to deal with. A tip though--bring toilet paper, if you have a longer stay. They provide you with one roll in each bathroom, and I didn't read that part. I ran out at a bad time, thinking there was a roll tucked away someplace...nope. :) But, I should have read that part beforehand.

Thank you so much for the beautiful place — the location is excellent, and we had a great time. It was our first time in Orange Beach, and even though it was just a weekend, we truly enjoyed it. We’ll definitely be coming back next year!

Clean comfy good value

a very clean and comfortable unit in this particular perpendicular to the beach condo with the unit toward the highway side. elevators were a bit flaky the first few days but fixed.. because of the bunk beds, the queen bed is flush to the wall so it is hard for two people to get in and out. The unit will be better with just the sleeper sofa downstairs minus the bunk beds. so two adults going to easily use the queen bed. this unit is an excellent value for the price.

Beach week

The place was great. We enjoyed our time there. The only issue we had was that the oven is a little outdated and it was difficult to cook there because it was not working properly but I’m being picky here. I would definitely go back. The owners were great and helped us with little issues very quickly. No complaints. It’s part of life that some things don’t go perfectly sometimes.

Not Clean

Here is what I emailed to our host Just some quick feedback on your rental. You advertise a clean unit but from our observations not so much. See attached photos. Double doors are disgusting coming into the hallway. Hem on curtains is filthy. Front door is sticky, your garbage and cookware, plates etc. area looks as if something blew up food wise all over the inside. I would recommend another area to have your garbage can, which has no cover, other than with the plates and pans for eating. The refrigerator/freezer has a bad stench coming from it that the baking soda doesn’t cover up. A thorough cleaning including all the cupboards and drawers inside and out would help. Toaster doesnt work. Won’t hold down the bread. The TV is very hard to understand and work with the remote

We enjoyed our stay. Toilet paper was pretty terrible and they could use a rug upstairs since so much sand gets tracked in. But overall, we enjoyed our stay there. Loved the beach.

We were married in Orange Beach, and always dreamed of calling it our 2nd home.

We chose Sugar Beach to purchase our condo because of it's laid back beach vibe! We love all the amenities that the complex has to offer. Most of all we love the short distance from the room to the water. It is located in the heart of Orange Beach close to all the local attractions.
