Amazing location

We were looking for somewhere that was right on the beach and we could not have asked for a better location! We stayed a few days after visiting Nantucket and it was exactly what we were looking for! Literally on the beach. The home was clean and comfortable and we really enjoyed our time there!

Stayed 5 days in Yarmouth by the water. Wasnt bad despite couple days of rain. Small space but cozy. Felt like if you went to bed you would wake up floating on the water was so close to the ocean.

Fantastic cottage

Dawn the host was great and very helpful. The cottage was clean and comfortable. The location is amazing , you can hear the waves when you are inside the cottage, I didn’t need my sound machine at night to fall asleep to for ocean wave sounds, I got to hear the real ocean waves. I will be booking again for next summer.

Great location, little luxury

Everything went great with the reservation and listing was as described. Only complaints are that the bed was not comfortable and could really use better mattress. The teeny tiny shower also has a shower head that you can’t adjust making showering a challenge.

Perfect!

Had an absolutely wonderful week with my husband and 5yr old daughter! The beach location was *perfect* for exploring with a toddler. From swimming, to running on the beach, to kite flying and searching for fish/shells/crabs- it’s no wonder she didn’t want to leave! This cottage is very well maintained, and really shows the care that the owners put into it. Everything was exactly as described, and even better in person. And nothing is better than listening to the waves all night
 Dawn was so responsive and great to work with. We really hope to stay here again!

Compact, Cozy, Delightful

Perfect for two. Loved having the ocean at our doorstep. The Murphy bed was sturdy and comfortable. The small kitchen area was likely not suitable for gourmet cooking, but could serve well for basic vacation meals (We ate all our meals out. ). Overall, the cabin was clean and neat and cozy. The early May weather was cool but pleasant. Some of our time was spent (with jackets on) sitting on the deck drinking morning coffee while watching the ocean and the few people who walked by. We also did some walking on the almost totally vacant beach. A very peaceful and restful stay. The owners were very accommodating and allowed us a late checkout. They stayed in contact with us via text throughout our stay and were quick to offer to remedy any problems (We had none).

Quaint Home On The Ocean

We loved our time at this house. All we cared about when we made the reservation was that it sat right on the ocean. It did not disappoint. I love hearing the waves and smelling the ocean. The deck and chairs were perfect for just sitting and watching. We didn't cook much at all, so our experience with the kitchen and appliances was very limited. The bed was comfortable and there was more than enough space for the two of us. We arrived a little earlier than expected and the owner was there getting things ready. She was friendly and not put out by our unexpected early arrival. Great stay!

1 Room cottage

There was an outdoor shower but no way to keep sand off your feet from shower through the sand then into the house. Dated. Needs updates. Had to watch where you walked in the sand on the water side. Someone with dog kept letting it do it’s business right in your pathway to the water. We kept removing it but got tired of inconsiderate people!

Our 2nd Stay was even better than our 1st Stay!

This small cottage has everything a couple needs for a relaxing stay directly on the beach. We definitely enjoyed the new dining set which took up less room than last year's set. The new dresser was a very nice addition also. We actually used it and felt it was much cleaner than the older one from last year. The clothes hamper combo in the bathroom was a nice addition also because we could use hamper for dirty items and the sectional top was great for toiletries. There are also shelves over the toilet for toiletries and towels. The price for this cottage is reasonable for the area it is in. There is free parking right in the cobblestone driveway beside the cottage and chairs right outside on the beach for your use. The kitchen is well stocked but does not have an oven but everything is as advertised and shown in the photos. The owners are very easy to work with and the price is very reasonable for the area. Many good restaurants, shops and bakeries are close by. You will need a vehicle to thoroughly enjoy the beauty on the Cape and to visit surrounding towns. Be sure to ferry over to Martha's Vineyard and to Nantucket. We highly recommend this Cape Cod oceanfront cottage in West Yarmouth. It is a great vacation cottage!

The location is very nice, right on the beach. There are many restaurants a short drive away.The cottage was clean and had most of things needed, you do need to bring your own queen sized sheets, towels, and paper products (there are paper products there, but no replacements). The cottage is very small, especially the bathroom, so be prepared for that.

Relaxation

Location can’t be beat! Although small, this property has everything you need. The sunrises were spectacular. We loved having our coffee/wine on the deck watching the waves. Ideal for couples needing a romantic getaway. Check in was very easy and our hosts were incredibly responsive.

A gem in a perfect location

We’ve been to the Cape many times, for many years, but this place is very special. The location cannot be beat and having the private beach for a backyard is amazing! The house is very small but had all we needed, was perfect for me and my two kids. The beds were comfortable and the off street parking in the driveway was very nice. If you know Yarmouth, this location is very easy to get to anything you’d want to go to. Thanks for the wonderful weekend!

The BEST Birthday/Mother's Day Getaway!!

The description is exactly as stated and just as wonderful as it sounds! If you want a little romantic getaway or a little bit of solitude, then this is the place. It has exactly what you need and so much more...the constant sound of the waves were my favorite. You can hear them whether the windows are open or closed so don't let the off season stop you! It was amazing to be able to see the sun and moon rise over the water right from the bed. If it's warm enough for you, take the opportunity to sit out on the beach deck to watch the stars in your pj's..because you can! There wasn't a moment we didn't enjoy and that includes one of those days that I was sick unfortunately. Is there a better place to feel lousy? Dawn was so easy to communicate with and very responsive. Thank you again Dawn! We look forward to coming back down!

Loved but new price is insane

Absolutely loved this property. The house was small, clean, and right on the beach. Perfect for 2 people. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars is because I just went to book this place again for next year and the price has been raised to $600 a night. So sad, I wanted to go back but not at that price.
