"Lazy Waves" Àr en fantastisk delad nivÄ hem som ger bostadsutrymme pÄ tvÄ nivÄer för förÀldrar och barn att ha egna hangouts!

Den övre nivÄn har en Àt i köket som öppnar till ett rymligt övre plan dÀck. DÀck har ett matbord för sex samt extra sittplatser och en Weber gasgrill för de efter strandgrill! En trappa leder till en uteplats och stor privat inhÀgnad gÄrd som Àr flankerad av ett stort trÀd dÀr barnen kan spela pÄ repet swing! GÄrden Àr rymlig och perfekt för familjen whiffle ball turneringar, ett spel av krocket eller KAN-JAM! Det finns en uteplats i ryggen för att koppla av ute med en bok efter en trevlig dag pÄ stranden!

"Lata vÄgor" har 4 rymliga sovrum. 3 sovrum pÄ övervÄningen (2 Queens, 1 med 2 tvillingar och tvÄ barnsÀngar), 1 Stor dubbelsÀng pÄ den nedre vÄningen samt en tvilling dag sÀng. Det finns en stor familj bad pÄ bottenvÄningen som nyligen renoverades med dusch och badkar; befÀlhavaren har ett tvÀttrum och toalett. Den lÀgre nivÄn har ett badrum med dusch. *** Nyinstallerad hösten 2018 Àr en utomhus varm / kall dusch! Vi Àr glada för denna uppdatering eftersom det ger en annan rekreation att njuta av efter lÄnga dagar pÄ stranden ... ocksÄ nyligen installerad central AC för vardagsrummet!

"Lazy Waves" har ett utmÀrkt lÀge gÄngavstÄnd till centrala Middletown RI och första stranden, och en genomskÀrning genom St. Georges till andra stranden! We stayed at Lazy Waves for our elopement weekend in Newport. My husband and I, plus our four adult children. It was the perfect set up for us with rooms / beds for everyone. The location is great and all communication with the owner was smooth and easy.

Great Middletown location

The house was comfortable and in a good location for exploring Newport and Middletown. We were there for a family wedding and appreciated having a house for our group. Kate was so helpful with information about the house and area, and easy to communicate with.

Great house near beach, town, and St George's school

This was a great house with lots of space and bedrooms. The location was ideal for us attending a graduation at St George's school, a very close walk. Equally close is the center of Middletown and Second Beach. The owners were responsive, flexible, and accommodating. The house has a lovely deck and backyard. I would definitely recommend and hope to return!

Daughter’s wedding

The house was very clean and updated. Bedrooms had plenty of room for couples and luggage. Kitchen/pantry had many many spices/oils etc. We had an issue with the oven door which was critical to the wedding reception. I contacted the owner through Vrbo and had a property manager at the house in less than 5 minutes. He made the oven usable using some innovative techniques 😜 The home more than met our needs!

Nice location, but poor communication and no A/C

We were staying here for a friends wedding and unfortunately the A/C did not work all weekend which made it extremely difficult to sleep. The hosts live abroad and the property manager was unresponsive. Understanding the host was saying they were trying to get someone in to fix it, if the property manager would have been responsive we would have understood the delay, and suggested they bring in some additional fans to help.

The house is accurately described in the listing and was a good place to stay in Newport. Issues that we encountered upon arrival were promptly and fairly handled by Kate and we had a great weekend.

Family reunion

Your place was in a great location, my brother has a place in Newport. My sister and family weee staying in Portsmouth with my mom. Easy drive to both locations, beaches, breweries/wineries as well as downtown Newport.

Nice house near Newport

A couple and three singles stayed here for a sailing regatta in Newport. Great spot very close to Newport in Middletown. Quiet neighborhood. Nice large house with four bedrooms. Well appointed kitchen. Great host.

Ideal Location & So Homey!!

We had a wonderful stay! We were so close to downtown Newport, which was ideal as we were working a wedding that weekend. There was ample parking, the A/C was perfect, the back deck was lovey to spend time and there were plenty of towels! The house every very clean and well decorated! It felt very homey! I would come and stay again!

Quiet location a short ride to all of the Action

Very clean and a large house that is well stocked. Down the road from a brewery and restaurants. Quick ride to Thames Street where all of the bars, restaurants and shops are located.

Family Memorial Day Weekend

We’ve just returned from a terrific stay at Kate’s property in Newport. The house was spotless and so comfortable. Perfect for our group of 4 adults, 4 children. Kate was extremely hospitable and responsive. The location was perfect. We couldn’t have asked for more. We’ll definitely be back!

Comfortable & great location

The house was comfortable for two families each with 2 adults & 1 elementary age kid. Everything was clean and very comfortable. Proximity to many great dining options on Aquidneck, and the short drive to Second Beach made every early evening an absolute blast for the kids. There is nothing pretentious about this house - it is comfortable, clean, casual living, exactly what is needed for a family beach vacay. Great communication from property owner - thanks for a great stay.

Quiet, comfortable, and convenient

My friends and I had a wonderful experience at this house in Middletown while we were in town for a wedding in Newport. The house was super clean and had many helpful amenities that made our stay a breeze. There are a handful of great restaurants within walking distance and downtown Newport is a very short drive away. We would all happily stay here again.

Walkable to the beach!

Loved the location of the property. Easy to get to Newport, fun restaurants and the beach down the block. The owner was very communicative. Definitely recommend it!

Nice and convenient

We weren't there long enough! But long enough to be thankful for a place that was clean and convenient.... and easy to get to. I hope we can go back some day. We had a time trying to get the indoor temperature just right for the whole house. So, we could have used more floor fans.

Great beach house, great location, awesome back yard

We had two families with 5 kids under 6 and the house was great. The backyard was perfect for the kids to run around and play. It’s a nice short walk to downtown Middletown. It’s a very easy drive to Second beach as well as to downtown Newport. The upstairs bedrooms were good size and the house was equipped with pretty much everything you needed including a pantry that had a bunch of extra things. The basement tv room is nice and finished but the bedroom in the basement is just off the unfinished laundry room so it’s a little odd place for anyone having to stay down there

We spent 3 years living in Middletown, RI after we relocated from California. We fell in love with the island and decided to find a place to call our own. Unfortunately we were relocated again but decided to keep this property in the hopes to be able to enjoy the beauty of Newport again! We have two children who love to spend their days on the beach or visiting the aquarium!

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

We fell in love with this house because of the location, the large private fenced in yard and the potential we saw with this older home! We love that we can walk down the street and visit one of the wonderful restaurants, walk to First Beach and the cliff walk!

Great private yard, deck for entertaining, walking distance to shops and restaurants, two family living spaces providing enough room for everyone to have space to relax!
