Ocean Cottage 38 Låt vågorna bära dig bort ... Detta 3 sovrum, 3. 5 badrum Oceanfront Stugan är perfekt för avkoppling och lugn. När du går upp framför trapporna finns det en liten veranda som är perfekt för att läsa eller koppla av. Gå genom ytterdörren och gå in i det öppna köket. Med Bosch-apparaten, bänkskivor i granit och en upphöjd bar är detta ett perfekt område för att samla och förbereda avslappnade måltider under din semester. Köket är fullt utrustat, inklusive en kaffebryggare, brödrost ugn, mixer, mixer och crock potten. Det finns också ett stort skafferi och ett halvt bad precis utanför köket. Köket öppnar till en matplats med bord sittplatser 6 och ett stort öppet vardagsrum med två full size soffor, enstaka stolar och en platt-TV. Utanför vardagsrummet är ett rymligt solrum, vilket är mycket unikt för denna stuga. Koppla av i de bekväma fåtöljerna med en bok eller njut av frukost vid ett bord för 4 i solrummet och ta en vidsträckt utsikt över havet. Det stora sovrummet ligger också på bottenvåningen, med utsikt över havet genom dubbla fönstret. Det stora sovrummet innehåller en king size-säng och eget badrum med en stor dusch och garderob. På övervåningen hittar du ett stort tvättstuga utanför landningen med en fullstor tvättmaskin, torktumlare och diskbänk. Det finns också två rum, alla med queen size-sängar, tv och eget badrum. Öppna den stora bakre veranda genom antingen sovrummet. Njut av matsal utomhus vid bordet för 6 eller koppla av i en fåtölj och njut av havsutsikten.

Enheten har ett rymligt en bilgarage och plats för ytterligare två bilar i uppfarten.
Denna stuga är "Osprey" planlösning med första våningen sunroom och sover sex. Sängkläder, kabel och WIFI finns.

Om vårt nej husdjur eller ingen rökning politik bryts kommer en $ 1000 böter att debiteras.

Strandåtkomst: Framstegen med staten Georgiens Jekyll Island Revetment Rehabilitation Project, har resulterat i tillfällig förlust av tillgång till stranden vid vattnet längs vår strandlinje. Det finns fortfarande tillgång till högvattenstrand, landsbygden av bergsklättringen. Vi rekommenderar Driftwood Beach, beläget norr om stugorna eller bara några minuter bort söderut med bil till Great Dunes Park-området.

Great weekend getaway

The location of the property is great and was very quiet. It was the perfect relaxing weekend getaway with enough to do on the island but very rarely had to deal with crowds!

Great Time

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the home. The check-in process was extremely simple. The second story porch provided great views of the ocean. The community pool was very close to the home. The beach was close by, but was only available during low tide, but other beaches were just a short drive. We will definitely rent this home again!

FAMILY REUNION REVIEW

Rating Details: The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location - enjoyed the fact that the back room was enclosed. Condition of the cottage was great with the exception of the two negatives listed below.Two very significant negatives:1. The upstairs couch was broken and had been "jury-rigged" with a board. When I called to report same, I was informed that the board underneath the couch was place there to alleviate the KNOWN "issue" with the broken legs. I was told a replacement would be brought in the next day. This did not happen. This was a SAFETY issue and should have been disclosed - you should disclose to all renters. We repositioned the board and used the couch to a limited extent. Renters should NEVER be exposed to this type of undisclosed, known safety issue. Additionally, this is inconsistent with the representation re the condition of the cottage and furniture, for which we paid full price.The grill did not work properly - we did not attempt to use until the last night there, but suffice it to state, we did not use it - another safety issue with two broken burners.Would recommend only if proper disclosures are made and listed issues are resolved.The gentleman who was assigned to assist with cottage issues was great and did what he could with limited resources.

The cottages at Jekyll

The property seemed new and fresh when we walked through the door. I emailed the property manager about some small maintenance items and he responded that day to repair them. Very satisfied with our stay and will stay there again.

Fantastic unit

One of the best rentals we’ve had. Furnishings were perfect and the unit is very spacious. The two bikes included were a nice bonus too. Would stay here again.

Practically perfect in every way

The house is beautifully decorated, clean, and had ocean views from every room. We watched dolphins from the balcony and fell asleep and woke up to the sounds of the ocean. The home was extremely clean and still had that new house smell. A great choice for your Jekyll island vacation.

A WONDERFUL FAMILY VACATION!!

This beach cottage is amazing! Our family couldn't get over the breathtaking views from every room in this property. Plenty of room for our family of four, which includes two very energetic toddlers! We enjoyed the upstairs balcony numerous times during the day, fully enjoyed the kitchen for every meal during our stay, and was pleased to have a garage to park our SUV in. Extremely clean, which was very important to us. Thank you for offering up an amazing place for our first FAMILY beach vacation!

Always Wonderful

Each year, we choose this cottage (38) for our annual business retreat. It is the perfect location and has wonderful amenities. The home is large and spacious. Each person has their own room and area for breakout sessions/ private work time. The management team is friendly and always easy to work with. No complaints from us! Can’t wait until next year!

Summer Vacation

This was my family's first trip to Jekyll Island and we loved it. The place was amazing and better than advertised. It was extremely clean, well decorated, and the kitchen was well equipped. We enjoyed sitting and relaxing on the porch with an unobstructed view of the ocean (actually you can see the ocean from each bedroom and dining areas). The townhome is big and had a great layout. We especially liked that each bedroom had it's own bathroom. The pool is really close and well maintained. We also took advantage of using the bikes to cruise around the island (which saved us $$$ in bike rentals). We loved this place and will likely try to rent this unit when we return to Jekyll.

Great place for a vacay

The cottage was awesome. The views from the upstairs balcony were beautiful as well as from the sunroom downstairs. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything you could possibly need. The grounds were very nicely kept as was the pool and clubhouse. My brother and sister-in-law liked it so much they actually are thinking about buying in the area. We had an issue with the ice maker and Tad from management was very quick in handling the problem. He supplied us with ice and then came over the next day to check on it but fortunately the ice maker was working it just had to have time to make ice since the refrigerator had been off. All in all everyone had a fantastic time and look forward to coming back again next year. Thank you for everything

Cottage 38

Two of my co-workers and I decided to take a Labor Day weekend trip to Jekyll Island and this cottage did not disappoint! We run the daily operations of a women's rehab facility in North Georgia. We needed a small break from day to day life. The cottage was absolutely beautiful! The sunrise each morning was absolutely stunning! The cottage was clean and well maintained. I highly recommend The Cottages at Jekyll island. The check in was easy, we were given the code to the door before arrival. Upon walking in you could see a beautiful view of the ocean from the sun room. The Upstairs bedrooms each have access to the balcony were we spent most of our time relaxing and talking about our lives and our own recovery journeys. We were so greatful to have this time together and the Cottages were the perfect place for us to process and have some much needed time to relax.

The house is just beautiful, so roomy....perfect for us! The pool was great. I had my 3 & 5 year old granddaughters, and I loved it having so much shallow area for young kids. The home must be owned by an interior decorator! Everything was SO PRETTY!!!! And so comfortable. The location was great, except we were disappointed that the steps to the beach were gone. I knew about the rocks, and I knew that there was no beach at high tide, but I didn't know the steps showing in the pictures was gone. Won't keep us from coming back again....I will just check to see if that has been repaired next time. The Cottages are just wonderful!!!!! A wonderful place for a family to stay!!! I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone. Great location and neighborhood!

Overall a great trip! Very nice and clean cottage and the location was perfect.

The cottage is very nice and new and the location within the community is perfect. Overlooking the ocean and steps to the pool and boardwalk to beach. While most all of the furnishings were nice and new, the rug in the living room was very worn, stained, and appeared very dirty. The gnats were quite a nusance the entire trip. They were in the fridge, around the food, and garbage can. We tried to keep all food up and emptied garbage continuously, but still had lots of gnats. I would assume this issue is common throughout the entire island. The other downside was the beach. With the tides, you can only use the beach in the late afternoon, after 3. There is a public beach access a few miles down the road but the convenience of being right on the beach doesn’t really apply when you can’t use it most of the day. We did have a few issues pop up with the keyless entry not working and a minor roof leak, but the property manager was very responsive to remedy the issues.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was beautiful. We loved how the rooms all had a view of the beach. The things that we would like to have been better: There was a lot of information about trash being handled properly; however, we were only provided one trash bag. One trash bag is just not enough for 4 days of stay.. Also when we arrived the beds have been sat on in each room! It still had imprints of someone sitting on the beds. That was disturbing, but overall we enjoyed our stay.

Not worth the price

Cleanliness is what we were hoping to get with this property and that was not the case. The master bedroom sheets had indications of bed bugs because there were dried blood stains all throughout the multiple layers of sheets. Also, the mattress was so uncomfortable. We were not able to sleep comfortably any of our nights. The furniture in the living room is old, you sink into the couch when sitting in the most uncomfortable way. Many of the outside furniture is severely rusted from the sea water. Then, to top it off, vrbo does not offer refunds. We will not be utilizing vrbo in the future. There are too many negatives that overshadow the positive here.

Great Cottage. Will come back

Everything was as listed. Location is amazing. Close to Driftwood Beach, fishing pier, and local food. Wee Pub was delicious and the view from the condo was beautiful. Not obstructed by trees. Just gorgeous view from upstairs balcony especially. Kitchen had everything we needed. I like to cook breakfast when we are out of town and it was great. Everyone had thier own bathroom. Which was nice. We would definitely rent this condo again. Thanks for a great stay!!
