Ocean Cottage 50 Välkommen hem! Detta 4 sovrum, 3. 5 bad stuga är det perfekta hemmet hemifrån. Denna stuga stil stadsbostad ligger i Jekyll Islands senaste stuga gemenskap, The Cottages på Jekyll Island och är klädd med havsutsikt. Detta hem har ett sovrum på bottenvåningen, tillsammans med två gästrum och en bunkroom på andra våningen. På första våningen finns ett öppet kök som strömmar in i den vackra matsalen och vardagsrummet. Köket är utrustat med rostfria vitvaror och rymlig bar top. Denna stuga ger enkel tillgång till ett garage utanför köket. Utanför vardagsrummet är en skärmad veranda, perfekt för varje säsong. På andra våningen finns två gästrum och badrum samt bunkrummet. Den andra våningen har också ett litet sittområde och bekvämt lakanskåp. Bifogad till andra våningen finns en balkong för att titta på soluppgången.
Denna stuga är "Osprey" planlösning och rymmer 8.

Strand��tkomst: Framstegen med staten Georgiens Jekyll Island Revetment Rehabilitation Project, har resulterat i tillfällig förlust av tillgång till stranden vid vattnet längs vår strandlinje. Det finns fortfarande tillgång till högvattenstrand, landsbygden av bergsklättringen. Vi rekommenderar Driftwood Beach, beläget norr om stugorna eller bara några minuter bort söderut med bil till Great Dunes Park-området.

Island Vacation!

Our entire experience with Villa’s by the sea could not have been better. We loved the location on the north end of the island. Great unit with incredible views. Hope to stay here in the future. The cottages at Jekyll are an amazing place to stay.

Jekyll Island Cottages

The house was beautiful and accommodated our family perfectly. I would have liked the VRBO site to tell me that what they were charging was not all of the cost. I was also charged a fee by the Real Estate Manager for their costs. This was not disclosed until the last payment was due. Also, beware that the beach is not useable for many hours per day. When it is time for high tide there is absolutely not beach/sand. Only the water hitting the rock wall.

Great location, Not so good property

We love visiting the Jekyll Island and surrounding areas and make at least one trip a year. Our experience in the past has been pretty good with the rental properties but had quite a few issues this time around with this property. Starting with the water leak from upstairs bathroom onto the ceiling downstairs right above the breakfast area and AC not working in the later part of our stay. Called the management, they responded quickly and sent a plumber withing a few hours. They worked on it but the issue persisted and got more water leak next day as well. We couldn't use that bathroom and we had only 2 bathrooms left for 8 people. For the air conditioner, they didn't fix that at all and we had to live with it for the last 2 days of our stay. Have stayed in many properties over the years and this is my very first poor review. The person I spoke to at the property management office was courteous but bottom line is we had a torrid time during our stay.

Ocean Getaway

This is a great cottage on Jekyll. Property management responded right away when needed. When the tide goes in, the beach is great.

Ocean sounds.

The cottage was in a wonderful location with amenities. The property is well appointed however could use some touch up painting in high traffic areas. Our favorite part was waking up and falling asleep to the sounds of the ocean as it hit the rocks during high tide.

Excellent beach condo

beachfront condo in an excellent neighborhood. Very comfortable stay. Needs good pest service especially in kitchen area, but overall excellent stay.

Excellent Rental Home

Excellent rental home for families. Truly enjoyed the atmosphere of the home and surroundings. Our family of seven adults had plenty of room and beautiful views. Easy check in process and all of the amenities were in place. A++++

Nice Surprise

This place is super nice and all the furnishings were better than rental quality. Great views of the beach and ocean. Also the community is very well maintained. Nice pool area and beach access.

Great Stay

We enjoyed the property, the view was amazing. The beach was nice and private which was ideal for the Covid Pandemic. The garage was great for storing our bikes and paddle board. We were with in biking/walking distance of just about everything. Planning our trip next year.

Great Home

We enjoyed the house and the beautiful views. Morning coffee on the top balcony watching the dolphins was the perfect way to start each day. Quiet beach with nice shell finding and so awsome appreciating sea life.

Ocean cottage Stay

We enjoyed our stay at The Cottages. A very nice quiet and private community. Not far from restaurants, market and more. Bikes included was a plus for us! I feel the unit could have been cleaned more thoroughly before our arrival, but appreciate the management accommodating us so quickly. Overall a memorable vacation for our family.

The unit is nice and well decorated. However, some important attention is needed in the kitchen.

The kitchen needs pots and pans to be able to prepare a meal. There was only a small boiler and a Dutch oven. The other pans etc were in very bad shape. We covered them with foil to be able to use them at all. Not up to standard for this type if rental.

A wonderful place for family

The cottage is well kept. The kitchen had all the dishes are pots needed. Not only did it have a coffee maker, it also had a keurig. In short it was the perfect place for our family to vacation at the beach. I could lie in bed and watch the beautiful sunrise.I am looking forward to our next visit.

Management staff was not very friendly and suggested we damaged something before walking thru front

Property was nicely decorated. Beds didnt have contour sheets so hard to keep beds made during sleep. Management was not very welcoming. We were only given one towel and one washcloth per person. Towels didn't air dry. Should have been given at least a few additional towels. Overall the pool was nice and we enjoyed being with our family.

Lovely Jekyll Island home

This property is lovely and spacious. It is well furnished and comfortably accommodated 6 adults and 2 children. Our granddaughters loved the bunk room. The beds in all of the bedrooms were very comfortable, and 3.5 bathrooms were great! The ocean views were lovely from the second floor covered porch and the first floor screened porch. It was nice to have a gas grill available as well as 2 bicycles and sand toys. (I left some noodles for the pool.) The kitchen could have used some additional "equipment." There was no pitcher so I purchased one and left it. There are no baking/cookie sheets or baking pans. Also, there were no true cereal bowls, so we made do with the soup bowls. We also had just one dish towel. Another hint: take your own hairdryer. There is no hairdryer in the house. The Cottages is a well cared for development (with lots of rules and threats of fines or eviction). I can see that the swimming pool was also underbuilt for the number of cottages (at least during the summer months). All in all, we had a wonderful time and would probably return to this cottage.
