Garden Cottage 08 - Avkoppling på sitt bästa!

Garden Cottage 8 Koppla av i denna vackra familjevänliga två våningar trädgård stuga med öppen planlösning. Soliga öst och söderläge fönster med stora skärmad veranda på båda våningarna. Ett komplett kök med bänkskivor i granit, rostfria vitvaror, ät i räknare och ett stort DR-bord som sitter hela familjen. Vardagsrummet har en sektionssoffa tillsammans med väggmonterad TV. F��rsta våningen veranda utanför LR är bara några steg till grusväg och strand. Första våningen har ett rymligt sovrum (KING) med stort badrum. Sovrummet öppnar också för veranda. Första våningen har också full storlek tvättstuga och halv badrum. På övervåningen rymmer vart och ett av de två sovrummen 3, ett rum med våningssäng och utdragbar trille och den andra med två enkelsängar och utdragbar trille, TV och DVD. Båda har egna stora privata badrum. Båda är öppna för en rymlig välutrustade veranda med fantastisk havsutsikt. Ett bra sätt att börja dagen på Jekyll Island! Detta hem har planlösningen Kran, 8 sovplatser, utrustad med en Keurig, barnstol, pack n play, två cyklar och vikstolar. Det finns också 4 gratis golfrundor med två veckors uthyrning. Bra läge för att njuta av din semester!

Strandåtkomst: Framstegen med staten Georgiens Jekyll Island Revetment Rehabilitation Project, har resulterat i tillfällig förlust av tillgång till stranden vid vattnet längs vår strandlinje. Det finns fortfarande tillgång till högvattenstrand, landsbygden av bergsklättringen. Vi rekommenderar Driftwood Beach, beläget norr om stugorna eller bara några minuter bort söderut med bil till Great Dunes Park-området.

Annual beach trip

The house is very nice, plenty of towels and everything we needed. The beach was a close walk but was little disappointing due to lack of actual beach, especially during high tide. Overall we enjoyed the quiet of jekyll Island.

Beautiful, comfy home

This home is great! It was perfect for our group of 6, including 2 children. It was comfy and cozy and we felt “at home” right away! Great location! We would definitely stay here again!

Fabulous cottage. Extremely clean. Very well equipped, we cook often and the kitchen had everything we needed. Even a salad spinner. Though could use sharper knives . Very roomy unit, spacious bathrooms, lovely peaceful view from upper screened in porch. We had a problem with tv remote, mngmnt company was helpful.

Property Manager should lose license

Terrific home. Comfortable layout and really homey. Highly recommend the home. Compliments to the owners. BUT, the property manager put my wife and I in an unsafe situation that must be addressed. Long story that deserves direct communication with owners of the property and VRBO. I won’t go into the story in full but this property manager (Parker-Kaufman Realtors) directed us to the wrong house at check in, let us in, where we spent the night and was told the next day we were in the wrong house. Their directions, communication, and response was absolutely inadequate and unprofessional. Parker-Kaufman realtors should be reprimanded and fired from managing this property. Safety is primary and they put my wife and I in an unsafe situation.

Fantastic family time

Our family enjoyed the home immensely! It was very roomy, clean, and the kitchen was well stocked. We stayed in Garden Cottage 8 , which has a view of ocean from upper screened deck, and it is just a few steps from the beach . We would definitely stay at this property again!

Wonderful

This was our first trip to Jekyll Island and this house was perfect for us. We had 5 teens and 1 preteen. There was plenty of room for everyone. The second bedroom upstairs actually had a twin bunk bed with trundle and twin bed with trundle. The little neighborhood was perfect to walk around and for all of us to walk to the pool.

Beautiful Accomodations

We enjoyed our stay very much. One small issue with the bikes was rectified same day by management. If we visit the area again, we will definitely be renting in this neighborhood.

A spacious and gracious home away from home

Wonderful stay on this magical island! The cottage was so well appointed and comfortable, the neighbors were quiet but friendly. Many great memories made here. I especially loved enjoying breakfast together on the lower porch each morning, working on puzzles on the big coffee table with the children during “quiet time” (we really appreciated the puzzles and toys- so thoughtful!) and sitting on the upper porch and watching the ocean in the early morning, while I drank coffee before the rest of the family woke. It’s a lovely view. Thanks for everything- we’ll be back!

Great Time in Jekyll

Couldn't be happier with the accommodations at the Cottages. Very nice updated interior, multiple beach access and the pool were awesome. Love coming to Jekyll and don't think we could stay anywhere else.

Property was great. Steps/ easy access to beach and pool. Beds comfortable. Very relaxing setting. Property was not ready when we arrived. Property mgmt was accommodating for the inconvenience. Would reccomend.

Tranquility

This property was exactly as advertised online. The neighborhood was so quiet, peaceful and friendly. The cottage is perfect for a family or a couples get-away. The upstairs balcony offers an amazing view of the sunrise. The trail leading to the beach is just a few steps away. This place was just what I needed for a quiet birthday weekend.

Jekyll Island is beautiful!

Loved Jekyll Island! Had a couple issues with management. Everything worked out but enough that I’m not sure we’d stay at these cottages again as it seemed a little unorganized. In fairness, with COVID, it seems everyone is short staffed and maybe this played into these issues. Otherwise, the cottage was beautiful and everything we needed.

Jekyll -Cottages-April 2021

This condo has a wonderful setting, the upper porch has a view of the ocean with sounds of the waves. The furniture on this porch and the lower porch needed cleaning or new cushions. (A rug would be nice on the porch upstairs) Kitchen was well appointed with multiple coffee makers and tools. (please remove the fly swatter from the far right island drawer - with other cooking utensils) We would have liked a TV in the lower master bedroom and a firmer bed (you need to replace the bed skirt it is stained and torn) The master bath and closets were spacious and clean. We did not used the upper bedrooms other than access to porch, both had two twins with a trundle - another king on the upper floor would help travel with another couple. We did use the bikes from the storage on the lower porch the newer blue bike was a delight to ride, the other bikes need updating. We had to switch each day so we both could enjoy the nicer bike, which meant adjusting the seat with the wrench on the wall of storage unit. The storage unit could be better utilized - everything is just dumped in the corner. The grill is a nice Weber but we found it took a long time to cook even on high. There seemed to be some confusion with the cleaning staff - we stayed 6 days and they came on the 2nd day because they thought we were checking out. We did enjoy our trip here, but would love to see some updating.

Beach Getaway on Jekyll

We had a great stay at The Cottages on Jekyll Island. The home was perfectly located across from the beach access with a view of the ocean. Very comfortable, well appointed kitchen and we loved sitting in the screened in porch. Super fast wifi throughout the house. The community pool was quiet and had plenty of chairs/umbrellas. Thanks for a fantastic trip!

Excellent stay

We were very happy with the property. Everything in the home was clean and modern. Lots of extras available to use in the home (dishes, bikes, beach toys, children’s books and puzzles etc) Check in was easy and hassle free. Beach access was right across the road. The community felt safe and welcoming. It was very quiet and relaxing. The only thing I’d suggest, which had nothing to do with the home- book a golf cart ahead of time when you book your house. Everything was completely booked up and it would have been great to have one to cruise around the island. We will most likely return in the future.
