Try not to rent here!
We had quite an experience staying here. Renting with MIT house works through an app. For some it might be easy and much more smooth (i thought it would be). To start off, the app was not allowing me to continue check in by adding all documents needed from all guests. I had to call their office phone line to help (people can be rude). I was finally told everyone was checked in so I went on with my day. The apartment was clean and neat, Iâll give them that. But honestly itâs bad advertising. Itâs June in Madrid and it is hot! States there are 5 a/c units in apartment, only one in the whole area. Wifi, not functioning. I emailed the company and heard nothing back. Later to get back in the apartment app wasnât working to open the apartment doors (total 3 doors just to get to apartment). Itâs midnight and im locked out. Had to call an emergency number they have. Took them about half hour to get to the apartment and open doors for us. Leaving us again with no keys. No wifi, hot apartment. Next day we call they say someone will reach out to me to take a look at the place. Never got a call, never got a reply to emails. I had to call again, and of-course complain because I was not getting what I was paying for. Left to town to enjoy my vacation and couldnât enjoy because I was waiting for a call back or email response and never herd either or. Had to get someone again to come and open doors for us. Supervisor was rude/ bad customer service skills. Horrible experience. Asked for money back, didnât want to help me out, I did mention Iâd have to complain through my bank, Supervisor said when tech arrives remove items from apartment if you are going to follow with your bank. Excuse-me! You charged me right away but canât help me out right away. One thing is wifi and a/c not functioning, but being locked out multiple times of a place you are paying for is most certainly not acceptable. If youâve had a good experience here im happy and glad. But myself and family definitely do not recommend to anyone. As a side note, itâs critical to have a working phone with service (if youâre a tourist only relying on wifi, this rental is not for you).
