Santa Barbara house

The house was very clean and set up nicely. It is very convenient and close to the 101 freeway with easy access to the waterfront and downtown. It has a gated driveway, big backyard and deck/grill that would be really nice in the warmer weather. The host was easy to communicate with and responds quickly. I would recommend this to families traveling to the Santa Barbara area.

Santa Barbara Safe Place

We were dripping our daughter off to college for the first time and our car was packed with all of her belongings. The house had a secure parking area behind the gate. Ideal. The kitchen was perfectly stocked. Our host was so flexible and understanding about our wonky arrival and departure times. Such a great place to land for a big family transition.

Perfect vacation home in Santa Barbara

We had a great stay, the house is very comfortable, well equiped and decorated with care & good taste. It’s close to the beach and Montecito. The owners are very responsive as well. If you are staying in Santa Barbara with your family this is a great choice!!

We had a great stay in Cliff's house. Everything was perfect--very clean, comfortable beds (complete with duvets and extra blankets), and well manicured year. Cliff was very accommodating and a great communicator!

Perfect home base in Santa Barbara

We loved staying here! Our family had a great time in Santa Barbara and the house is perfectly situated for adventures and exploring in the area. Our kiddo loved the big yard and the house is clean, comfortable and well-stocked with all the basics you need. Communication with the lovely owners was seamless and they clearly care very much about guest comfort and enjoyment. A gem of a house - we would definitely stay again!

Another great stay at the Cliffhouse

We really enjoyed our weekend in Santa Barbara, this was our 2nd stay at this house. The house is very clean and comfortable, perfect for our family of 4. Our favorite part is the glass doors opening to the deck. We enjoyed our morning coffee in the sun, and a lovely brunch one morning on the deck. the garden was still beautiful in November, I walked around the yard and admired all of the Monarch butterflies on the lower fence. We also really appreciate the gated yard for parking, including a remote control for the gate.

Perfect getaway house

Our group consisted of 4 ladies who love music, being active, shopping, and eating together. We played the piano and sang together several times. We made a charcutterie board and enjoyed the sunshine and garden views while we ate. We were quite confortable in the beds. My favorite outings were to State Street for shopping and dining and Cold Springs trail for the ocean and island views on our 2.5 mile waterfall hike. I also loved Brophy Brothers on the wharf, Shoreline Park, and a sunset beach walk at East Beach. There was hardly a dull moment. While I really wanted to take the bikes out for a ride, the group I was with wasn't as excited to do that as I was. Everything about the house was perfect except we ran out of toilet paper with 24 hours left in our stay. The house, furniture, and deck area were comfortable, relaxing, and decorated beautifully. I would love to stay again.

Wonderful stay at CliffHouse Cottage!

This beautiful cottage was perfect for our family of 4! Our kids enjoyed exploring the lovingly maintained grounds, and admiring the flowers and plants surrounding the house. The gated driveway and tall privacy hedges also provided a delicious sense of seclusion and privacy. The interior of the house, which was thoughtfully decorated with warm natural tones and classic beach themed decor, felt cozy and roomy enough for all to have a relaxing stay. We appreciated the small stock of games, books and toys for small children that were stored in the house. Eating on the sunny deck was also a highlight of the stay. For newcomers, we found the location to be ideal as it was very easy to access the freeway and get to the many wonderful eateries in the area. We particularly enjoyed spending days at Miramar Beach Club. (The outdoor shower was a nice touch at the end of those long days on the beach.) For tennis enthusiasts, there are municipal tennis courts just at the end of the street. We would stay again! - Family of 4 from Boston, MA

Lovely cottage

This cottage was perfect for our 4 person family. The cottage was very clean, with beautiful hardwood floors and many many windows. Queen bed was super comfortable. Quiet neighborhood, only heard the cute birds in the lush garden. Other things we loved: big full kitchen, big glass door off of living room opened to a large deck, large gated property with private parking (remote provided to open/close gate). We will be back!

Zufrieden, ruhig und glücklich

Das Cliffhouse war das Highlight der Unterkünfte auf unserer Reise von San Francisco über Santa Barbara nach Las Vegas. Mit zwei Schlafzimmern und dem großen Wohnzimmer bietet es sehr viel Platz. Die Terrasse und die großzügig ausgestattete Küche, insbesondere der interessante Ofen, laden zum Kochen und gemütliches Essen ein. Das Auto hat Platz auf dem Grundstück und muss nicht an der wenig befahrenen Straße stehen. Leider konnten wir wegen des kühlen Wetters das Erlebnis der Außendusche nicht wahrnehmen. Dagegen konnte unsere Jüngste erstmals am Flügel Klavier spielen. Die Kinder waren über das vorhandene WLAN glücklich. Wir können das Haus wärmstens weiterempfehlen und waren gern zu Gast.

Beautiful, comfortable cottage on a quiet street.

We enjoyed everything about our stay. Perfect location, windows to let in the cool breeze, and a sunny deck overlooking yard with a variety of trees and lots of birds. We loved the vintage coastal decor.

Excellent property

We absolutely loved all the outdoor spaces to relax and enjoy during our stay. I cooked quite a bit in the well appointed kitchen. There are tons of birds on and nearby the property making lovely Birdsong, but I would suggest some earplugs for the morning if you are a light sleeper. The main bed was comfy.

Superb Space to Finish our Holiday

We loved the feel of this place the moment we stepped in. We needed a place to regroup after three weeks of road tripping crazy with our two kids. The balcony is gorgeous, beds comfy, cooker great! My son was very much taken by the old vcr television in the kids room. Thanks for the breathing space 😀

Easy Perfection

Great house for our family

The house suited us very well for our family visit to check out UCSB. The terrible weather prevented us from enjoying the deck and yard, but the kitchen had everything we needed, we had family movie night in the living room, and our daughter even got some piano practicing in.

Santa a Barbara retreat

My wife and I recently spent six weeks at this lovely stand alone single family cottage The location was superior as it was very close to downtown, beaches, and Montecito. It was in a fairly dense residential area, but it was quiet. A nice feature was that the house provided off street parking. We did experience difficulty over several days with the electronic gate as at times it would not open each time, but when we contacted the owner they were pleasant and responsive. The house was comfortable and a good size for us and all basic necessities were present. Overall we enjoyed our stay and we would consider returning if it were available.
