Gouves is a popular tourist coastal resort village of Crete with a well-developed infrastructure, located 18 km East of Heraklion. In the evening you can stroll along the promenade and enjoy the sunset. The resort mainly attracts families who want to treat themselves to a sea with beautiful beaches, with soft sand and shallow waters. Gouves beaches are well organized (umbrellas / sun beds / showers) and lifeguards.

For people who love water sports there are diving centres, water sports on the beach etc. There are two water parks located in Crete near Water City and Aqua Plus. With all sorts of rides, slides, pools, designed for visitors of all ages. indifferent. Within walking distance of Gouves you can visit the Cretan Aquarium, and the Dinosaur Park.
