Amazing house (1869 sq ft) just a few steps from the famous Hive Beach. Backing onto open fields the house has off road parking for several vehicles and large comfortable living spaces. Two of the four bedrooms have access to the spacious balcony with wonderful views over fields to the hills and sea beyond. Sleeping arrangements are flexible, depending on your needs. We have a bunk bedded room with a full sized cot and there are two further fold out beds for children aged up to 10/12. There are three further double bedrooms, two with king sized beds and one with a double bed and single bed. The master bedroom has an ensuite with bath. Separate shower room serving bedrooms. Downstairs cloakroom. Very large kitchen leading onto spacious dining room and raised seating area with sea views (50 ft in length, see floorplan) From here, a door leads through to the large and comfortable sitting room (35 feet in length) which has five panel bifold doors to the large garden and three comfortable sofas. Now TV Sports Package included with Sky Sports.
Separate Games room with Table Football, Table Tennis, Darts and professional Pool Table.
Children's play area with swing and Climbing Frame.
Great walks from the front door- no need to drive. The village is 10 minutes walk away with two great pubs which both serve very good food -The Three Horseshoes and The Anchor. There is a garage with shop attached and Post Office all a short walk from the house. Bridport is an 8 minute drive away with a great market on Wednesday and Saturday and loads of non -chain interesting shops. Such a Lovely Holiday House

We thoroughly enjoyed another holiday at Big Sky. Perfect house, perfect location and very very child friendly with a real cot, toys and a small sandpit in the garden. Hard to get the children to leave the house. Lovely welcome too.

Wonderful House

Our second stay in this wonderful house. Unbeatable location, house beautifully decoarated with masses of towels and very clean crisp linen. Real cot, high chair, toddler bi,es, scooter, swings and a slide - so well equipped for kids. Thank you so much we had a great time.

Excellent Stay

The house is fantastic, lots of space for everyone and the location is perfect. The hosts were extremely helpful and I'd recommend the property very highly. It is well equipped and very comfortable.

Perfect location. Amazing house. Great communication.

The house is in great condition, is large in terms of space, and very clean. It has everything that you need for a break, with a large garden overlooking fields, a games room with good quality equipment, and beach equipment for the younger guests. There are four sitting areas, and a large kitchen and dining table. It has all the needs for a family or group of families. The location is ideal for coastal walks, and is within minutes from the beach. Definitely check out the local Hive Beach cafe. The food is great! The owner and the housekeeper kept in regular contact to ensure everything was ok. We had no troubles at all, and would highly recommend the property and the owner. We stayed for almost a week, and our only regret is we had to leave so soon!

Great Big Sky in Burton Bradstock

Excellent house for a family party - six adults and two children. Good quality all round and very flexible space. Huge well appointed kitchen. Big garden with some good toys and bikes. Games room with table footy and pool table. Outside table for dinner. Big inside dining table. Lots of lounge space. Three king bedrooms and one double. One kids room. One shower room and one bath room. Very near the sea, two good pubs and a great beach cafe. Lots of parking. Highly recommended.

Gary and I were lucky enough to find this lovely house in Burton Bradstock in January 2021 and we have spent the last few months setting it up as both a Family home and a part time Holiday let. We have converted the garage into a Games Room where we hope lots of people will have loads of fun, with Table Football, Pool, Table Tennis and Darts. We have also made a soft surface play area for younger guests, and of course we are just 3 minutes walk to the renowned Hive Beach and the popular Hive Cafe. West Bay is a 30 minute walk along the beach, or up on the cliff top where there are marvellous views of the Jurassic coast and surrounding Dorset countryside.

Varför värden valde detta boende

The house is light and airy and has an open plan kitchen/diner/sea room with views to the nearby beach. There is also a comfortable sitting room with gas Log burner and large doors that can be opened totally to the wonderful garden. This is space for 8 in total plus two babies/toddlers, with full sized cot as well as a travel cot, highchair and pushchair for your use.

So near to the beach and wonderful public footpaths- a walkers dream location as well as great for families. If you forget a swimming costume or your bucket and spade just pop back- it's so near! Great location for Bridport and all the other seaside towns as well as beautiful Dorset villages
