Very beautiful property even in January. Home is beautiful inside and out. Has everything you need for your stay. Host is very responsive. Would rent again and again.

Stayed here with my husband and sister, we were very impressed to see the property very well taken care. Very thoughtful by leaving us some muffins and snacks available at our arrival. Hope to stay there again.

Beautiful

On a recent trip to visit family, we spent 4 nights here. I enjoyed waking up and having coffee on the porch and hearing the sounds of nature - but also being close to everything. We visit the area several times throughout the year and definitely plan on returning. This place is a jewel!

5/5 Excellent Beautiful cottage in a quiet, rural setting, yet only minutes from restaurants and shopping in Temple. Host communicates well and had the place stocked with drinks, snacks and amenities. Enjoyed the horses adjacent. Very comfortable stay. Would definitely stay again.

Relaxing and peaceful taste of the country

The property is a beautiful cottage with easy access to Temple and Belton. Horses on the property next door with treats to feed them if you want. Extremely quiet and relaxing getaway location. Cottage is clean and comfortable and was a great launching point for our Belton adventures. Snacks waiting on our arrival and had great and easy communication with our hosts. Can't wait to stay there again!

We loved the quiet, clean, well maintained house. It is very charming and we appreciated so much, the extra thoughtful touches like breakfast muffins and snacks, movies, board games and books to read. It is thoughtfully decorated and cheerful. If we were frequent vacationers to this area, we would most definitely rent again!!

Weekend getaway

Super nice property that’s close to town and in the country as well. Peaceful, well appointed with everything you could need. I would recommend some attention to the bed, it’s a bit saggy and you tend to roll to the middle but otherwise fantastic!

Location

The location was perfect, short drive to Belton and wedding venue. Cottage was located in a neighborhood that was quiet and had little-to-no traffic. Street was mainly used by few residents in the area. Great stay and felt safe. Host lives in main house on the property.

Perfect Weekend Stay at Texas Star Cottage in Temple

Exactly like the pictures show. Quiet and away from all the city noise. The horses really enjoyed the apples we gave them every day. Personal touches were so nice. Highly recommend staying here. Hope to be back.

Right up my alley!

The location, the quaintness, the cleanliness, the quietness, the view, the house setup…were perfect!! Stayed the weekend for daughter’s weekend activities at Mary Hardin-Baylor. The cottage is ideally located to go into Belton, UMHB, and Temple. Two adults stayed very comfortably. Everything was easy with check-in and check-out. Will definitely stay again when in the area and have shared it with friends and family as a suggestion when needing a place to stay or for a get away.

This property is unique. The cottage gives you the feeling of
country yet is located close to shopping, restaurants, Baylor
Scott & White, and Lake Belton. The cottage is an hour from Austin and 40 minutes from Waco. Clorox wipes and Lysol spray are used to sanitize the cottage in lieu of the Coronavirus.
