It's only a 5 Minute drive to dining, wineries, breweries, and happenings; or a 5 Minute walk to the scenic creek; or just a 5 Second stretch from watching deer on the back porch. After a day's outings in nearby lakes, events, shopping, golfing, antiquing, you'll love stretching out and preparing for another day's excitement!

The accommodations were perfect. We had everything we needed. The location was close to the main part of town. We rented a golf cart and was able to get around that way. We seen deer in the back yard. Great stay.

Relaxing and Quiet

We had a lovely second stay in this comfortable 1-bedroom condo in this beautiful, quiet treed neighborhood. Last time we saw 2 deer. This time we saw 5 before we even checked in, plus a mama and 3 fawns in the back yard, plus some 30 others in our morning neighborhood walks on the gentle hills. The generous snacks and breakfast provisions in the well-stocked kitchen make it so convenient to be comfortable. We also like the large walk-in shower! We will be back.

Great location. Enjoyed seeing the deer out of the back patio door window when we arrived. The VRBO was well kept and provided everything we needed. We will definitely use this VRBO again in the future.

Salado Anniversary

We enjoyed our trip to Salado. The place was exactly as advertised - cute, clean and comfortable. The host’s instructions were clear and easy. Communication was excellent and we were confident that the hosts would address anything we needed. The neighboring area is quiet and scenic. Overall it was a lot of fun.

Time to relax

The property was perfect for us. We wanted a low-key time to relax. The condo had plenty of room, a great bed, and adequate kitchen supplies for the meals we chose to prepare during our stay. The location was great with access to the creek, restaurants, and shopping just a short drive away. It was a wonderful experience.

This getaway is very relaxing and quiet! Deer roam morning and night. The host were very attentive and responded quickly to any communication. This Salado retreat was clean, equipped and a wonderful place to relax. I would definitely book this accommodation again.
