Detta charmiga hus har ett fullt utrustat kök, två utomhusdäck och en 0. 25 tunnland stor gräsmatta. En gasbbq är tillgänglig för att laga Westcott Bay ostron medan man tittar på solen från detta västerläge hus. Njut av den vackra utsikten med din morgonkopp kaffe och se eventuellt några valar från den privata sovrumsveranda.

Layouten för de två sovrummen på övervåningen känns som om det finns två mästare med separata badrum bifogade. Detta gör det idealiskt för två par med en eventuell yngre resenär också.

Perfekt beläget på en mycket privat väg bara några kilometer från centrum av Friday Harbor. Resten av denna 1. 5 tunnland stora egendom är täckt med frodig, naturligt växande vegetation, vilket bidrar till känslan av integritet. Ta med cyklarna för att resa från fastigheten ut till västsidan och Lime Kiln-fyren, som är en utmärkt plats för en solnedgångcocktail med chans att se några valar, marsvin, sälar, sjölejon och kala örnar !!

Great House, Area, and Stay!

We had a wonderful stay here! The house was impeccably clean and comfortable, and the area was private and quiet. While the yard looks quite a bit bigger in the listing photos than it actually is, there was still plenty of space for my daughter to run around. There was some pretty serious roadwork being done so it took a little longer to get to/from Friday Harbor, but without that it would have been a quick drive. We didn't need to contact the property manager, but they proactively contacted us to let us know we could check-in early. You can tell they pay attention to detail, as they even supplied two propane tanks for the grill. I would stay here again and highly recommend that you do as well!

It's about a 15min drive to the countryside from the busy Friday Harbor and a very nice secluded location. There are plenty of wild flowers all around the house, something we really enjoyed. This is an ideal place to relax and unwind. The house was very clean and had pretty much everything we needed for our stay.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Had a great stay here, it's a big spacious home and everything was clean. With young kids and being light quite late we would recommend some blinds or blackout curtains for at least one of the bedrooms. We were awoken one night by a mouse or rat running in the walls but other than that it was a great place!

Family Trip

San Juan Island

My sister and our husbands had a wonderful vacation in the Kanaka Bay Cottage. The location was perfect - 15 minutes from everything we wanted to explore and in 5 days we did and saw everything that we had hoped to. The house was absolutely charming and immaculate. It was so cozy and comfortable. We would stay again and recommend it to anyone. Thank you for a great vacation!

Wedding Weekend

We had a nice stay with family, as it’s always good to be with family. The property was cute and quiet towards the end of a very long (couple mile) dirt road.I’ve never left a drab review for a vacation stay as I’ve been in real estate for 30 years and understand that homes come with unique characteristics. But this property was a bit pricey with a 500 host fee so I felt that it should have been a bit nicer. The property listing featured a king bed. However the king bed was not a king, but two twins pushed together, and our feet hung off the end which made for less than comfortable rest.The fan for the stove didn’t work so when we cooked we’d have to open doors to air out the home, which invited mosquitoes to join in. ;) Many of the blinds don’t function properly so when trying to open windows, it is a bit of a complexity that required two people.Then there was a note on the refrigerator and large bottles of water offered on the counter as hosts shared there was a problem with the water system/drinking water, which made us worried about the safety of the water. I feel if we would have known prior, we would have opted for another home.Also, prior to our stay, we reached out about the ability for a late check out since we were attending an evening wedding, The host offered no response. We went ahead and booked, and after our booking the 1 hour late departure was declined.We enjoyed our stay on Friday Harbor but would have chosen a different property to rent.

Nice, comfortable home with great yard

Great house with well-stocked kitchen, comfortable rooms and nice back yard for game playing. The location was great, but a little far down a dirt road, other than that, perfect weekend getaway!

We had a group of 4 and it was more than enough - large beds, many seating areas, more than enough restrooms, and nice touches like games and books (note you cannot use the fireplace). The property is secluded and surrounded by greenery with plenty of windows to bring in the natural light and enjoy the scenery. The house was very clean and well stocked and the beds were comfortable (supportive and soft!). An outdoor hammock would have been incredible to enjoy the sun, breeze, and gentle sounds of nature here.

Reviewer Comments: I’m tempted to tell the world that this vacation rental is a horrid shack and infested with gremlins, just so that we never have trouble booking the house ourselves! In reality, this charming home is just perfect! Large, clean, well-thought out. We loved that the multiple porches allowed us to find or avoid the sun, depending on our moods. We can’t wait to go back and stay longer!

Beautiful Remote Vacation house

Great house to stay at with family. Private lush backyard, great for running around and sitting on deck in the sunshine. Fully stocked kitchen with olive oil and spices, every utensil you could need. Perfect space for family with two bedrooms with en suites, and then an alcove with full bed, nearby where my daughter slept. The only thing was no window coverings in alcove and only light filtering shades in bedrooms, so if you’re used to blackout shades, you or your children might be awake at the crack of dawn. :-D Ideal location- 15 mins from Friday harbor, 15 mins from Lime kiln, where we attended a wedding, and maybe 20 mins to roche harbor.
