Fly och koppla av på vår lilla bit av sjölivet. Vår nyrenoverade stuga, perfekt för familjen kul eller en romantisk tillflyktsort, erbjuder en skuggad gård med en brygga, barn hinderbana, brandplats och badtunna. Vi är centralt beläget på en mycket önskad plats - en snabb bilresa till Deep Creek State Park och huvudrestaurangsområdet samt till toppen av Wisp skidorten. Swallow Falls State Park, med en av de högsta vattenfallen i staten, ligger precis längs vägen.

Första steget: Koppla av (håll kontakten med Wi-Fi). Vi har gjort det enkelt att lägga ner saker - det rymliga mudroomet ger en bänk, hyllor och ställ för dina skidor och snowboards, plus utrymme för hjälmar, hattar och halsdukar.

Du hittar det nya köket, öppet för det ljusa och luftiga vardagsrummet som erbjuder gott om plush sittplatser och en utdragbar soffa, 50-tums platt-TV och spelbord. Den skärmade veranda är väl upplyst för familjesamlingar eller tyst läsning.

Gör dig bekväm i den romantiska mastersvit, som ger en king size-säng, spetsar, mysigt sängkläder och platt-TV. På övervåningen, hitta ett annat romantiskt sovrum med en queen size-säng och ett tredje sovrum med queen och dubbelsängar, båda med platt-TV.

Andra steget: Ha det kul! Barnen kommer att roa sig på hinderbanan medan du suger i badtunnan, sitter i en hängmatta eller spelar fotboll på verandan. Bara en kort promenad till bryggan (eller du kan köra och parkera närmare. Vårt hus är synligt och ett hus bort från hamnen tillgång parkering entré). Samla runt elden, grill grill och spela göm-och-sök i trädgården eller dyka upp i en film.

Extended holiday weekend trip

Very nice relaxing getaway. We didnt let the blizzard ruin our family time. House was stocked with all kitchen supplies needed for cooking our meals. Hot tub was fantastic we all enjoyed it tremendously. Location is great. We will be going back.

Worth renting and I am a critical traveler

I rent a ton and call each property as I see it .....This place is worth the money ....nothing goes prefect but communications with owner were awesome...house and grounds as described.....but I always have to find something so the stroll thru the woods to the dock is not for the elderly or handicapped...rough... incline... pretty long...if on a summer weekend you will get rocked all day on the dock ..the house makes the place ....try it out .

Deep Creek Oasis

Our stay at dock holiday was absolutely lovely! We had complications with our boat over the weekend and the house and dock was really the highlight of our trip. The house is well equipped with everything you could need for a rental stay. The screened in porch was lovely in the mornings and the fire pit/hottub in the evenings was perfect. Would come back in a heart beat!

Great vacation

We spent a week at dock holiday. We rented a pontoon and kept it at the dock. The house was great! No complaints here. We did lots of boating swimming campfires grilling, and hot tub. Communication with property owner was perfect.

Perfect 4th of July Holiday

Beautiful property with everything you could ask for in a 4th of July get away. Just a short walk to the water, and plenty of space throughout the house. I would highly recommend this property for any summer vacation.

Everything you need

We are repeat customers and I cannot stress enough how accommodating the owners are in every step of the process. The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay with all the amenities of home. We will continue to rent from Larry and Colleen for years to come. We have two boys that keep themselves occupied with a good size property, mini-ropes course, ladder golf, and tepee. In addition to the newly renovated house, the rental includes a boat slip where we keep our boat while visiting Deep Creek. If you are interested in a cozy house with everything you need, this is the place for you.

Renovated, feels like home, and a short walk to the lake!

We loved this property! Plenty of space for several adults and kids. We loved the long dining table with space for all of us to eat breakfast together. The house is a 5 minute walking distance to a short trail that leads you to the dock and swimming at the lake. It is a 10-15 minute drive to plenty of places to eat and fun summer activities!

Great House with everything you need

A great house for our family with plenty to do. The house is at the end of the lake within a 5 minute walk to the dock. My kids (6 &9) thoroughly enjoyed the hut tub, ladder golf, and ropes course. My wife liked that everything she would need I a kitchen was there. It was newly renovated and very welcoming. We loved the house came with a dock slip for fishing/swimming and keeping our boat. The owers were very responsive throughout the booking process. I highly recommend this house. We plan on coming back. Thank you for helping make our vacation enjoyable.

Hi there! We’re Colleen and Larry, two D.C. suburbanites who, like many people, found the rolling hills and sweet-smelling pines of western Maryland a draw to escape traffic, humidity and a non-stop “to-do” list. We’d been coming to Deep Creek Lake to camp at the state park when the thought came to us that maybe one day we could grab a little slice of lake life to share with others while investing in the area and in our own future. We took on this fixer upper after watching probably too many episodes of renovation shows with the goal of making it a unique cottage that could be enjoyed for many years to come.

Varför värden valde detta boende

After searching a few homes for a few months around the lake, we figured it wasn’t meant to be. But then we decided to revisit the house we initially disregarded. Taking another look, we had new ideas about moving things (the kitchen, master bedroom), adding things (master bath, mudroom, parking pad…) and cleaning, repainting and repurposing things (pretty much everything in the house and around the yard).
The house became a cottage, a combination of old and new. The location and lot were ideal for us because you get the buzz of excitement from being at a hot spot near the lake (close to restaurants and action) but you also feel that peaceful calmness from the swaying trees, cool shade and echoes from the boats and people on the water celebrating lake life. We loved that the house was different from others and not too big nor too small. The porch was huge to us—and a great spot for card games, book reading and lots of laughter. The yard called out for a fire pit and because we currently have two little kids, we saw the trees as obstacle course providers as well as holders of a hammock for the adults.

Dock Holiday, on second glance, seemed a perfect fit for us. We hope for you, too!
