Excellent place to stay
We stayed 10 days at the Stone House and it was so nice we could easily have stayed longer. The apartment is large with a fantastic terrace and great view to the bay. Really spacious living/dining area and two big bedrooms. The third bedroom has only thick mattresses on the floor, would have been nicer with real beds. Bathroom and kitchen are not so big, but it was no problem for us (4 adults and 2 kids aged 6 and 7). Aircon works fine and is needed if you travel like we did in July when it was 35 degrees warm. We recommend to order food from Jadranka downstairs, it was excellent and convenient. Location of the apartment is really good if you seek a calm vacation spot but still close to restaurants, grocery stores and larger cities. Restaurants and grocery stores are just a few minutes walk. Kotor, which is a very nice city to visit, is only some 15 mins away with bus or taxi. You can easily travel by bus to other cities like Tivat. The apartment is directly by the water, but there is a small road between the house and the 'beach', and some cars drive really fast so you need to pay attention. Luckily our kids were old enough to understand that they need to be careful. The water by the house is good to swim in, and we had our swimming shoes on all time since it is a stone beach. We hired a private boat two days and it was the absolutely best thing, amazing to go swim in other places, and the boat can pick you up at the house. James was swift in replying to questions when we were booking this place and he has been very helpful at all times. We were overall very pleased with the apartment and the location, and definitely recommend it to others!
