Hubby’s birthday/quick getaway

We arrived on Wednesday and stayed until Sunday. Condo was perfect for us, small but mighty!!! The view from the balcony was great. No complaints. Location is everything!!! Would absolutely stay here again!!!

Perfect Location for Beach and Nite Life

Phoenix X provides great location for beach lover, sun lover and night life lover (Flora-Bama adjacent). Great pool as well as indoor pool. Three restaraunts withing few hundred feet.

Great place to stay

We really enjoyed our stay. The view is magnificent. The only recommendations would be for the water to be a little warmer in the shower and to make sure there is a blanket for the pull-out sofa. We will definitely stay again.

Great Place!

This little condo is great for a small 2-3 people family. The pull out couch mattress was a little worn down and probably needs to be replaced but we made due. Internet struggled at times and I didn’t get much of a response from the management company when I emailed them with the problems, I just had to figure it out. But if you are looking for a great little condo that is reasonably priced and over looks beautiful beaches, this is a great place to start!

Nice condo

The condo was nice. The bed was very comfortable. The dishes and kitchen supplies are minimal but adequate. Our only negative was that the floors were not very clean. Everything else was fine. We would stay here again.

Great View

The condo had a great view. It was nicely decorated. We wish the ice maker had worked. Also we never got the WiFi to work and we are both fairly tech savvy. The property management company there was not much help. Overall beautiful location and we enjoyed the proximity to the Flora-Bama.

Condo was perfect for my husband and I. Great balcony view. Parking /unloading was easy enough. There was a desk with a glass top that was completely broken in half. I have no idea how long it had been like that, but needs to be removed. If someone stayed with children, that could be dangerous. With all the deposits and fees that are obtained, it should have been repaired or at least removed.

Don’t deal with White Shores Realty

At check in we were made aware that all doors on our floor were being replaced. Ok no problem! We were gone all day upon return our door would not open. It was painted shut. Massive problem getting in and out of the condo for 3 days. After several emails, phone calls and even a trip to their empty office we couldn’t get a response from White Shores. Finally after getting the condo general manager involved White Shores finally contacted us basically telling us if it was that bad to leave by 7pm. It was 5pm at the time. We left got a very small refund and came home to Indiana. Our trip was cut 3 days short. White Shores will gladly take your money but will not assist if there’s any issues! Please don’t use them!!

Just don’t do it….

We arrived to find trash under the bed. While it may seem strange to you that I’m commenting on articles under the bed one could not help but see. The very uncomfortable mattress was not adorned with a bed skirt so anyone could see the pencils and chip bags residing under the bed. The shower curtain was mildew infested as well as the shower walls. We scrubbed for some time, but failed. Just don’t touch anything. If you do decide to stay, watch your step exiting the shower. It’s a real doozie! Lastly, the pull out couch is a no go- just don’t even consider it. If you do, bring your own bedding. We prepared for bed only to find no bedding for the pull out. The nearest Wal-Mart is in Gulf Shores. So, preplan and bring your own blankets. Lastly, the elevator nearest the parking garage does not call to the 12th floor. Don’t worry, you will stand there for quiet some time until you realize the note instructing you of this issue is on the inside door of the elevator. Use the center elevators and walk back with all your luggage. It was a relief we had to leave early to evacuate for Hurricane Ida.

Outdated, nasty floors.., the view is nice

Well, the interior leaves much to be desired. The rental company did a fabulous job of photographing it in a way that makes it seem worth the price. The linens are worse than quality of a hospital. The mattress is abysmal. The decor is something that would come from the American thrift store. Clearly, this is not someone’s home but a business investment and they try to make it as cheaply put together as possible to maximize their income. The shower is way too high off the ground. Whoever renovated the bathroom, did terrible job and the wallpaper looks like the inside of the bathroom of the trailer. It’s quite expensive for what you get. When we first arrived the floors are very sticky and Sandy . My daughters feet were black from walking around the condo before we even touched the beach. The best part is the balcony; but if you’re sitting on the balcony and people next to you are also sitting on theirs, it feels like you’re sitting together. They nickel and dime you for parking for example. Parking has now gone up to $60 per car!!! This is in addition to all the other fees. You pay at arrival. The front desk informed me that it is the owners discretion to charge the patrons for parking and some condos include the parking. My advice is if you are going to stay here park in the owner parking. Not worth the price!! Needs to be cleaned. We left it cleaner than we found it.
