Because of your position between Grassmarket and Cowgate Street, it is easy to reach the different landmarks and popular tourist sites such as Edinburgh Castle. The area is also conveniently close to famous streets for shopping or exploration, like Princes or George Street.
Furthermore, you can sate your thirst for knowledge and art when staying at the apartment by taking a short walk to the various theatres, music halls, galleries, and museums, which can be found both in New and Old Town.
