The village makes the perfect base for exploring this unspoilt and scenic part of the Highlands. Mountain biking, fishing, sea trips and water sports, golf and hill walking are just a few of the many activities this area has to offer. Take a trip to Inverness, the Highland Capital, Loch Ness, Culloden Battlefield and Fort George, all within easy reach. Take a walk up the ‘Hundred Steps’ to South Sutor; The Sutors are rocks on either side of the Cromarty Firth once thought to be the abode of two giant shoemakers.
