Great location with lots of space

Overall we enjoyed the property. The only issue we had was with the smell of cigarette smoke, and I don’t think there is anything the property owner can do. The downstairs neighbours smoke constantly and the smoke gets into the flat. The secret is to keep all the inside doors closed.

A little disappointing

The property was overall as expected and acceptable. However, upon arriving, we noted that two of the garbage cans had not been cleaned, cleaning supplies were simply dumped outside of bedroom (mop, bucket, vacuum etc) and was unsightly. The cleanliness was just off and left us with wonder to how clean is everything else, ie-bedding. There was only one key, and a deadbolt to get out. One had to have the key at all times and it could have been easy to lock one out. Also, exiting the apartment in case of emergency could be a problem and likely is not up to fire code. The check in/out process was easy and straight forward and involved no personal interaction. The location was perfect, overall we had a good stay. Thank you.

Good property to stay for small family near public transport into the London city

The property was comfortable and relatively quiet, though the 3+ levels were a little inconvenient as the main level of the property was on the second level and the bedrooms and bathroom/toilet on the third, so many stairs to walk up and down within a narrow stairwell. The furnishings were quite good as were the appliances, but the space heating and hot water systems were a little complicated to get working with comfortably. The lack of a large area to dry clothes for four people was another problem with the property. The location for public transport was reasonably good, a few minutes walking to the northern tube line. The only real negative issue we had was that whilst we had someone to meet us with a key and show us the property when we arrived, after we commenced our stay we were told that we would have to return the key to a shop that was about 5 stations along the tube line and then a walk, which when travelling with luggage was a pain.

Could be much better

The good: the apartment is fine. Perfect for 3-4 family members (we were 3). It is well equipped (would be better to have more toilet paper and some Nespresso capsules that are the right ones for the machine). The area is great for exploring London. Minutes away from main bus lines, from Chalk Farm underground and Kentish Town West Overground. As well as from Camden Market. The bad: the check in process was horrible. The apartment was not ready on time. The apartment had a strong smell of dampness. We opened all windows, which helped somewhat. The ugly: there was a pile of disgusting decopmpsed trash in the entryway. Looks like a previous guest had already complained and nothing was done about it. Took another few days before it was finally cleaned.

Fun stay in Camden Town

The flat is ideally located - within walking distance to exploring Camden Town and all modes of transportation. Communication with the host was very timely. The amenities in the flat are as described. As the place is dated, the wooden floors and stairs are quite noisy if you are a light sleeper. Unfortunately, several bags of rubbish had been left outside prior to our arrival which resulted in animal noises during the nights and large messes each morning right outside our front door. The problem was not resolved by property management during our stay.

Delightful and Comfortable Flat

Attractive, quiet and comfortable flat located within walking distance to Chalk farm tube station and Camden. Had a little glitch at the start as the drain stop in the tub was stuck in the closed position our first night there. I texted the management company early the next morning. No one was able to come out to fix it until the following day. The four of us had to use a bowl to scoop out the water after each shower for two days. After the plumber came to fix it, all was good. Besides this one situation , we were pleased overall. Beautiful vintage windows overlooking the street below. Well stocked kitchen. Comfortable beds and living room. Clean. A very nice place to stay during our London vacation.

Nice bright and airy flat

Lovely flat, best of both worlds as it is on a quiet street but near everything Camden has to offer. Very comfy and nice. Could do with a few more curtains but generally a great place.
