Perfect for our low key anniversary getaway. Gary was super responsive. He was very gracious in response to us when we damaged a kitchen bowl. We asked how much we owed and he said nothing - these things happen. Not a big ticket item, but the best attitude.

This is the perfect house for a family to stay at in the winter when they go skiing. You can walk right up to Nubs Knob and it is just a couple miles from Boyne Highland. We may be coming back for skiing season.

Weekend Trip

Our family loved our stay! The beds were incredibly comfortable; we all slept so well. The furniture was perfect for relaxing, and we really appreciated that there was plenty of space for all four of us to gather together on the couch. The kitchen was efficient and well-stocked, with lots of fridge space and all the essentials we needed. Having laundry on-site was a huge plus, and the shower had great water pressure and stayed hot, which is always appreciated. One of our favorite parts was sitting out on the porch in the morning. The location was ideal; just a short drive to both Harbor Springs and Petoskey. We would definitely stay here again!

Amazing property. We appreciated the quieter woodsy location while still being a quick drive to all the amazing things in the area. Home was super clean and the beds/ pillows were really comfortable. We slept great- it was an excellent home base (and we really appreciated the central AC on a few of those warmer days). Kitchen was well stocked with all appliances/ dishes we needed for our stay. Would definitely stay at this property again.

Cute and Quiet

The A frame was nestled in a little ski resort area and we had a wonderful weekend. It was quaint, cute and quiet for the length of our stay and the check in process as well as the check out list was really straightforward. Would recommend even with little ones!

Cozy Weekend Getaway!

Husband and I took our 6 month old to Petoskey for a mini vacay. This cute A-frame chalet was the perfect little home away from home for the weekend! We loved the mid century modern decor, comfy seating and bedding, quiet neighborhood, and perfect distance away from town/trails/beaches. Recommended to several of our friends and plan to return!

Nubs Nob Ski Trip

Great stay at the base of Nubs Nob. It’s a little further than you probably want to walk in ski boots, but a very short drive. The A-frame was the perfect place for us to stay. We would definitely go back.

We Love this Chalet!

This is our family's second time staying at this chalet and we had another fabulous stay. So close to Nubs (and easy drive to Highlands). It snowed heavily just before we arrived and the driveway was plowed and steps / porch also cleared off. It was lovely to arrive to a clean and cozy house after surviving our white-out drive to Harbor Springs! The chalet is set up well for skiers with lots of hooks to hang gear on. We had a great trip - thank you Gary!

Great ski spot!

This was the perfect spot for us! There was plenty of space for all four of us (our two teenage sons were with us). We were able to cook meals and walk to the slopes. It was so easy to communicate with the owner too with the few questions we had. The only thing I would caution is if you’re going in the winter, make sure you have 4 wheel drive. We had several inches of snow while we were there and the driveway and road didn’t get plowed until the following day. We can’t wait to stay there again!

Family ski trip

This was our 2nd year staying at this VRBO. Great location, just steps from Nubs Nob and a short drive to Boyne Highlands. Very clean and the kitchen was stocked with necessary equipment needed to enjoy a couple meals when not wanting to eat out.

Quick little snowboarding trip for myself. Easy booking, plowed each day. Clean with all the standard necessities and some extras. Would definitely stay again.

Nubs Nob ski trip

Great spot for our ski weekend with 11,13, & 15 year olds. Super clean & well stocked chalet. Driveway was steep but we handled fine in our awd vehicle. Bathroom shower door was very squeaky, beware for early riser or late night showers as it woke up our crew. We will be back to this awesome place!

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

We bought our Chalet in 2003. Lived in it for 3 years - perfect for our pre-child snowboarding lives. And the A-frame style is super cozy - different from your everyday 'cookie-cutter' homes. When we bought a home in Petoskey (needed more room for kids), we had to find a way to keep the Chalet. It's too perfect to let go! So it's now available for others to enjoy as a rental property. We miss living in the Chalet - brings back great memories of the quaint neighborhood everytime we are there getting it ready for our next guests.
