The Most Beautiful View in New Braunfels

This tranquil paradise was a pleasant surprise. The drive up was beautiful and as we got closer to the property the kids actually put down their iPads! Driving among the trees and over the Guadalupe river was lots of fun and I was able to see my kids eyes for the first time in 2 hours. When we pulled Ain the carport they quickly jumped up

Beautiful location

Right on the river. Awesome deck overlooking with comfy chairs. The place was very nice, and the kitchen was great.

River Gem

The home was very clean and comfortable. Location was perfect for floating the river or a quick trip into town. The view of river from the house was wonderful. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Great getaway

We really enjoyed our stay here during the Labor Day holiday! Great location on the river, beautiful view, and the house was perfect for our group of 6. We would stay here again without a doubt !

Great location for tubing, fishing, day trips to Wimberley & Gruene. Updated older home. Very clean & comfortable. Had everything we needed. Loved the outdoor areas on the riverfront! So gorgeous & serene

Great house great views

Had a great time with some friends for a guys weekend. Would stay there again. Beautiful location and the house was nicely updated. Beds were comfortable and everything was clean.

My wife & I loved staying here. I have a river raft & that was the only downer of the stay is I couldn't get my raft to the top and to trailer. had to exit out at L&L. Other than that, it was great stay. Chris

Wildlife Galore

The house needed some airing out and kithen noise competed with tv watching.. but comfortable and great views, clean. We would have liked a list of places to eat or things to do info. One duck, two skunks, a hummingbird, and a friendly cat visitor.

Great House Great View

We loved everything about this house. It has an awesome view of nature and the river. Only thing we didn't care for was that even though it has complete access to the river it's not easy access to the river because of the massive broken off branches. It's hard to tell how deep the water is as a result to the huge branches.

Nice, peaceful getaway vacation home

The house was very clean and comfortable, with everything we needed. The porch, where we spent the majority of our time, was nice and shady, with a beautiful view of the river. It was full of cobwebs and dust, though, and could use a good pressure wash. The path to the river was very navigable. The yard was landscaped and in great order. The decking is not ideal for small children, but older children and adults would have no problem. Overall, it is a great location for a vacation.

Great float trip weekend

House was very nice ! Reason for four stars is because we asked if we could park a car at the house or in street early before check in , so we could go up river in other car and float down to house in time for check in . We were told no ! There was plenty of room . Had a good time anyway .

Great view of the river!

Communication with Erin (Property manager) was great!! Beautiful drive into the property. Small delay getting into the property because the owner sent someone to check the house because they thought it was not rented. That was quickly fixed although the person checking the property did track in some dirt and leaves and we had to vacuum before we could even bring our bags in and unpack. Not the end of the world, just a minor delay and we needed to do a little cleaning before roaming bare/sock-footed. House was pretty well appointed and had some new updates which were nice. The home still needs some TLC here and there and a few minor repairs. The location was tucked away and pretty quiet, but easy to get around. All in all it was a pretty enjoyable stay and we really enjoyed the view of the river!

Blue bonnets and river living

The locations is great, the house was good. Kitchen pans weren’t great, the door to the patio with a screen door to keep bugs out was behind the tv, couch cushion was torn away from couch, the master bed was uncomfortable old cushion. But over all the locations and peacefulness made up for everything. It looks as if the owner might be doing some updates and working on it. Hope to stay there again and see any improvements.
