Nice stay

We enjoyed our stay. There were many excellent aspects of the property-access to the river, deck, plenty of space and rooms, games and equipment, responsive property manager. The beds in the downstairs bedrooms were much less comfortable than those upstairs. We had a pleasant stay.

Great location

This is a great house in a great, quiet neighborhood. Water access was amazing and we took advantage of the kayaks. Overall I would highly recommend this house. There was plenty of room for our large group.

This house was perfect! There was plenty of room for our large group to spread out. We enjoyed the kayaks and ping pong table. The kitchen had everything you could think of, very well stocked. Very quiet neighborhood. Will stay here again.

Spring River Quiet Retreat

Lots of room, great bathrooms, fantastic decks, kayaks and paddle boat used on the river. Also enjoyed ping pong table, foosball table, and board games. Unbelievable location on the Spring River with access to Deschutes, close to Sunriver and Bend. WiFi was excellent. Will stay again.

Loved Cooper cabin

The cabin is a big house and can sleep many. The kids loved the games, ping pong table, and foosball . Beautiful view with Spring creek just a few steps from the house. Location is great and peaceful!

River front quiet

Our large family group spent five days and we love this house! It was comfortable it was a quiet neighborhood we love the trees, and the backyard down to the river was just magical. The two kayaks and the paddle boat made playing in the water fun and relaxing.

Spring River Lodge

Second time to be there. Just as enjoyable. Quickly becoming a family favorite vacation destination! We will be back soon (even if it’s just to retrieve a blanket and a waffle iron!). Ha!

Great Overall

The house was in need of a good dusting and kitchen cleaning when we arrived. Also, the stovetop was broken; so we had to do all our cooking on 2 hot plates. The upstairs queen bedroom did not have a curtain on the big window on the door to the porch. Basement bedrooms had a stuffy smell. On the plus side, the rooms were spacious with drawers and closets. Property management always responded quickly. (They did offer to send a cleaning crew out, but we declined.) The river access in the back yard was wonderful. We brought our paddle boards and connected with the Deschutes River. The kitchen had lots of stuff —a bit disorganized so it was hard to find things—but they did have a lot. Coffee maker was an automatic drip with basket filter. Location was good for our adventures. Restaurants in Bend are generally better than the Sunriver offerings. Would I stay again? Definitely! The pluses definitely outweighed the couple minuses.

Family vacation on Spring River

This house has plenty of room and something for everybody: an exquisite little river for early morning paddle, with mule deer, ducks, herons. A short paddle to the big Deschutes R. And numerous gorgeous mountain lakes a short drive away. Great deck and barbecue for friends to come for supper. Game room and ping pong, trails with river views. Easy access to Bend, plus Sunriver shopping and groceries 5 minutes away. We had so much fun that we never got over to see SHARC. Maybe next year!

Fun family home outside the main Sunriver area

We loved the space provided to spread out. Our adult family loved the deck area and the family game space. This home is located outside the main Sunriver area and provides a peaceful home to enjoy the natural beauty. Although the river water is cold, we enjoyed being able to access water so close.

The perfect Sunriver home

Wonderful, large home right on the river. The interior is dated as other travelers have said, but the place is very comfortable, clean and has everything you need for your stay. We especially enjoyed the game room on the first floor with ping pong table and foosball. One critique is that the yard itself is not really usable because it is not level and the grass is too tall. Not much room for lawn games.

Wonderful house

Beautiful spot on the river- house has lots of problems

We loved the location of this house and it was big enough for all of us- the downstairs is great for kids and clean and roomy- The kitchen has very outdated stove that almost caused a fire -3 people came to check it and the electrician said it was unsafe to use- the burners would get so hot you could not cook on them. The oven would shut itself off unexpectedly- the chargers got so hot if in wall to long we had to take them out of the sockets. the circuit breakers would go off and when we needed to reset them a flash of electricity would spark up.Neither of the ice machines in the refrigerator worked and we had to buy ice or make it - it was 90 degrees so we used a lot of ice. The bar-b-que flavor bars were collapsed and corroded so my son who lived near by brought his for us to use. The huge deck had one small table on it and 4 chairs- the neighbors on both sides had beautiful patio furniture and umbrellas as the sun beats down on the deck a good part of the day- my son also brought us his chairs and a camp table to use. The rugs upstairs were filthy and the bathrooms have shag carpeting in them-there was no extra linens for the beds. There was tons of blankets and pillows but no pillow cases or sheets to use with them. I feel we should get money back for all the inconvenience we encountered. all in all we decided to enjoy our vacation and work around the lack of amenities.being on the river was wonderful and luckily my son provided us with canoes - standup boards and a kayak so we could paddle to the deschuttes which was fun. There were no boats or bikes provided. I am going to fight to get money back as I feel the price was way over what should have been charged with all the problems we had. One last thing ther

Large home with plenty of room and AC!!!

The AC was great since we hit 100 degrees + several days of our stay. The place is a bit dated and has wall to wall carpeting in the upstairs bathrooms. This can only lead to concerns since the carpets are not cleaned and sanitized (there was a pungent odor unfortunately). But overall, being on an access waterway to Sun River (Spring River) there was ample opportunity to float and relax on the water in the heat. The home has plenty of cookware and plates to feed a large group, We were 8 adults/no kids.

Beautiful area

We had a great trip. The area is beautiful. The house is dated, but comfortably fit our party of 10 (4 adults, 2 teens, 3 kids). The downstairs with the games/tv was great . My only complaint is that the upstairs of house was very dusty. Lots of sneezing/stuffy noses during our stay.

Relaxing quiet location

This home is located in a perfect location. This house is dated but was very clean. If the carpet was removed upstairs and new floor laid it would be a great improvement to overall appearance
