Detta Àr en original Lincoln Logs hem, inbÀddat i nÀstan tre hektar privat skog, med 100 meter av sjöfronten.

Inga bullriga motorbÄtar vid denna Ànde av sjön, bara massor av vilda djur och enstaka kanot eller kajak.

En handgjord kanot Àr redo för din njutning.
Vacker utsikt över höstlövverk och mycket nÀra Jiminy Peak och Bousquet skidorter. Huset Àr tillgÀngligt under skidsÀsongen. Helt ny Harman Wood Pellet Stove hÄller huset toasy varmt, Àven under de kallaste dagarna!

Stugan sover fem, med en queen size-sÀng i sovrummet, en dubbel logg sÀng och en tvilling luftmadrass pÄ loftet och en bÀddsoffa i hÄlet. Massor av takflÀktar för att hÄlla dig sval och Harman pellets spis för vintervÀrme. Det finns ocksÄ en original Franklin vedspis (trÀ tillhandahÄlls) för romantiska brÀnder. VÀlutrustat kök och sÀngklÀder. En 1920s Glenwood gasspis i köket. Stor TV i hÄlan med massor av filmer att titta pÄ. Tio av tio skÀrmade Gazebo direkt pÄ vattnet med ett lager eldstaden och Honduras hÀngmattor i nÀrheten.

Great cabin on the lake with loads of amenities and welcoming touches. It was just me visiting a colleague but this is a great place for a group retreat or family fun as well as a peaceful place for someone traveling solo. Excellent and communicative host and I really enjoyed my time here.

Can not compliment the owners enough they go above and beyond, to make sure you have everything you can possibly think of 4 a comfortable stay. So much to do here, but yet it is so relaxing. Definitely looking to return soon. was sad to go.

The cabin was perfectly located for a week of exploring the Berkshires and southern Vermont. It is centrally located in the region, but feels private because it is surrounded by trees and set back from the road. It was the best stocked kitchen I've had in a rental. Relaxing by the pond was very peaceful; I particularly enjoyed the hammocks. Kayaks and a canoe were available. The cabin was spotless.

Cozy cabin on the lake. So many activities including kayaking, canoeing and just floating. Very private location but close enough that restaurants deliver. Easy to get down to the lake from the cabin, even for seniors. Full entertainment areas at the waterfront. I hosted a dinner for twelve with no problem. Owner is great and available if you need him

Tucked out of the way. Idyllic. Outfitted with anything you could want or need. As a family we have stayed at many short term rentals over the years and can say that we have never felt anything more home like--as in it could have Uncle John's camp from childhood. Really lovely.

Beyond expectation - a hidden Gem

I could not be more satisfied with the experience we had during our short stay. It was actually very nice to be more in the quiet Cove vs the main lake area
 Paddling via canoe or kayak to the main lake area and swimming off of the island there was quite special.

Great visit to the Berkshires. The house is setback from the road and you have great privacy but also very convenient. Easy access to all the Berkshires attractions.

Peaceful getaway on the lake

What a tranquil, relaxing getaway on a beautiful lake surrounded by nature! Enjoy the hand-crafted canoe, evenings by the fire pit, and lots of hiking in the area.

Cozy cabin

We loved our stay! Great, cozy, well maintained, cabin with lots of privacy. Our kids loved sleeping in the loft and had a blast playing into the shallow water by the dock.

Wonderful cabin and property

The cabin is large and extremely well stocked inside and out. The property is large and there are many amenities outside near the water. The cabin had everything we needed and it is close to Mount Greylock reserve. I wish we had a few more days to spend there. We would love to visit again. The best VRBO we have ever rented.

Perfect family getaway

Visited with my family of 5 for a last minute vacation. The cabin was charming, clean, and well stocked and John is a fantastic and welcoming host. We loved kayaking on the lake and enjoying coffee on the porch. Absolutely recommend!

My late wife Jill and I built this cabin in 2009 with her family's log chalet (in the Adirondacks) in mind. We were married 23 wonderful years and for many of them we ran a small Bed-N-Breakfast in Pittsfield named "The American House". For most of my career I have been a Chef in the Berkshires but I now work part time in the area during my recent retirement. I look forward to helping you have the time of your life here!
