VÄr nyligen byggda Mountain Cottage ligger inom mycket nÀra gÄngavstÄnd till nÀrliggande Lake Tomahawk, Black Mountain, Montreat och inom 15 minuters bilresa frÄn Blue Ridge Parkway och downtown Asheville.

Det finns tvÄ sovrum. En med en king size-sÀng, ett med en dubbelsÀng och en utdragbar soffa med memory foam madrass i vardagsrummet. Parkering för huset Àr till vÀnster om huset med sidosteg till veranda. TvÄ bilar kan passa in i denna plats

Grannskapsöversikt:
Vi Àr en snabb promenad till Lake Tomahawk i ett lugnt bostadsomrÄde med trevliga grannar. Downtown Black Mountain ligger bara en kort bilresa med mÄnga restauranger och butiker. Kort avstÄnd frÄn Montreat och stora bergsturer eller ta en 10-15 minuters bilresa till Blue Ridge Parkway. Det finns sÄ mycket att göra och se, du kommer att Àlska det!

A Pleasurable Thanksgiving

We had a very positive experience. The location was convenient to hikes and jaunts to Asheville. The place was cozy and had all amenities we needed. Would highly recommend.

Great Black Mountain Stay

We really enjoyed our stay at this cottage. The cottage was very clean and had ample room for our family. It was in a great location and close to Lake Tomahawk. I would definitely stay again.

Relaxing Stay

This was our second stay at this vacation home. The location is excellent. It is a short walk to lovely Lake Tomahawk for our daily walk enjoying the fresh mountain air and birdwatching. The owners are very quick to respond and the house is well-appointed, comfortable and very clean.

Perfect place to stay in Black Mountain

This place was fantastic. Perfect Location close to everything. Was Quiet, good neighbors, spotlessly clean. We loved everything about it. The place is even better than the pictures. Great host, easy communications. Especially close to Lake Tomahawk and a wonderful walking path. An excellent choice if you want to stay at Black Mtn. North Carolina.

The cottage was clean, great location, great furnishings, well stocked; everything that would be needed for a short or long stay. Unfortunately, soon after we checked in my wife started having breathing difficulties (we chose this cottage because of its location and no pets policy). We opened the windows and decided to walk to downtown Black Mountain; she cleared up soon after we started our walk. When we arrived back later in the evening she again started having difficulty breathing (she did take two different allergy medications but they did no good). After a difficult night for her I contacted the owners the next morning and informed them we would be checking out and would not stay the last 2 nights of our 3 night stay. The owners did offer the cottage next door as it did not have carpet, but it would not be available until 3 pm. Given my wife's condition, and not knowing what was causing her breathing issues (something in carpet, cleaning products, other cause) we informed the owner that it would be best if we returned home.

Black Mountain during Hurricane Helene

We enjoyed the house and the amenities. Everything was clean and all appliances worked as described. We enjoyed our stay until Hurricane Helene showed up towards the last few days. We were never in any danger and far away from the flooding, there was no damage, no leaks, no trees down, so the property survived the storm. We will return for a longer visit next year.

Perfect Getaway

We came up for our anniversary and it checked all our boxes! The home is better in person! We had everything we needed to cook with, towels, wonderful bedding, and very comfortable living area. The design of the home is gorgeous and is spotless! On top of all this the home owners were a delight to work with. We will be back very soon and are so thankful to have found this home for a perfect getaway. Thank you Jimmy and Beth!

Perfect Retreat

From arrival to departure...this was a lovely home to return to after a days adventure/meetings. Well apportioned and easy to use kitchen, comfortable beds, nice water pressure, and quality linens...just like home. Good communication and easy check in/out. Quick access to I40 to go into Asheville for meetings, plus ability to walk into Black Mt village for early morning coffee or dinner was so convenient. Evening walks around Tomahawk lake and a days hike on the Mountains to Sea Trail just a short drive away made for a perfect visit to Western NC. Highly recommend.

Excellent experience!

Very clean property! Would definitely stay here again. Well stocked. Owner was very helpful and easy going. Only one complaint, the steps are slippery when it is raining.

Clean, Beautiful Home, Great Location

We traveled up to Black Mountain from Charlotte to visit our daughters at Warren Wilson College. We were also able to go into Asheville for a dinner and enjoy a walk around Black Mountain. The photos are accurate, but I think the property is actually even a little better than could be conveyed in a picture. Really, a perfect little property at great price point. We hope to return.
