Perfekt Mountain Retreat

Vår nyligen byggda Mountain Cottage ligger inom mycket nära gångavstånd till närliggande Lake Tomahawk, Black Mountain, Montreat och inom 15 minuters bilresa från Blue Ridge Parkway och downtown Asheville.

Det finns två sovrum. En med en king size-säng, ett med en dubbelsäng och en utdragbar soffa med memory foam madrass i vardagsrummet. Parkering för huset är till vänster om huset med sidosteg till veranda. Två bilar kan passa in i denna plats

Grannskapsöversikt:
Vi är en snabb promenad till Lake Tomahawk i ett lugnt bostadsområde med trevliga grannar. Downtown Black Mountain ligger bara en kort bilresa med många restauranger och butiker. Kort avstånd från Montreat och stora bergsturer eller ta en 10-15 minuters bilresa till Blue Ridge Parkway. Det finns så mycket att göra och se, du kommer att älska det!

We really enjoyed our stay at "Perfect Mountain Retreat". The house was super cute and clean. Beds were comfy, the kitchen was well-equipped. Jimmy was a great host and very responsive.

This was the perfect place for two adults for a weekend getaway. The home was beautiful and close to town. We really enjoyed the stay. I would definitely recommend this place for a vacation. Was very clean and neat perfect location to Black Mountain. Thank you for allowing us to visit.

A super clean, charming, completely comfortable cottage. We appreciated the owner's commitment to furnishings and amenities. The cottage is quiet, and a short, convenient drive to all points Black Mountain.

Wonderful Weekend Getaway

This was one of our favorite places that we’ve stayed in so far this year. The location was convenient to downtown Black Mountain. The house was clean and beds were comfortable.

Excellent experience!

Very clean property! Would definitely stay here again. Well stocked. Owner was very helpful and easy going. Only one complaint, the steps are slippery when it is raining.

A Pleasurable Thanksgiving

Black Mountain during Hurricane Helene

We enjoyed the house and the amenities. Everything was clean and all appliances worked as described. We enjoyed our stay until Hurricane Helene showed up towards the last few days. We were never in any danger and far away from the flooding, there was no damage, no leaks, no trees down, so the property survived the storm. We will return for a longer visit next year.

Clean, Beautiful Home, Great Location

We traveled up to Black Mountain from Charlotte to visit our daughters at Warren Wilson College. We were also able to go into Asheville for a dinner and enjoy a walk around Black Mountain. The photos are accurate, but I think the property is actually even a little better than could be conveyed in a picture. Really, a perfect little property at great price point. We hope to return.

Perfect place to stay in Black Mountain

This place was fantastic. Perfect Location close to everything. Was Quiet, good neighbors, spotlessly clean. We loved everything about it. The place is even better than the pictures. Great host, easy communications. Especially close to Lake Tomahawk and a wonderful walking path. An excellent choice if you want to stay at Black Mtn. North Carolina.

Relaxing and Comfortable Stay

This was our third stay at this vacation rental. It is around the corner from Lake Tomahawk for our daily walk and very convenient to downtown Black Mountain with great restaurants and shopping. As always the home is clean, comfortable and check-in is a breeze.

Lovely getaway!

This home is even better in person than in the photos! My sister and I stayed here briefly while attending a family event in the area. When we arrived, we were delighted by how clean and well appointed the house was. The owner provided clear directions for the house rules, cleanout, etc. and was responsive to questions we had before arrival. Our trip was, unfortunately, hampered by the Microsoft/ClowdStrike IT outage which canceled and delays flights across the country in July 2024, so we were only able to enjoy part of the stay we booked - we did not get to fully explore the area which would have been nice. But the neighborhood was quiet and convenient to everywhere we needed to get to. Would love to stay here again should we return to the area in the future.

Wonderful!

Cute little house that has everything you need. It was very clean. A few minute walk to a small lake with trail around it. You can fish, play tennis/pickleball or go to the community pool. Close to downtown shops and restaurants. We’ll be back next year!

Well-kept cottage in a great little town.

Perfect for the two of us, and would also be great for family with 2 small/1 teenage children. Enjoyed morning walks around Lake Tomahawk, 2 blocks away. We didn’t cook, buts there were lots of dishes and cookware. Nice restaurants in town. We used this location as a hub for Biltmore, Blue Ridge Parkway (favorite overlooks being Craggy Gardens and Mt. Pisgah), waterfalls near Brevard, and Chimney Rock. If we return to Asheville area, we’ll seek out this specific cabin.
