Utomhus i markpool med dykbräda och rutschkana, bubbelpool (öppen året runt), stort däck med gott om vardagsrum och grill finns, stor eldstad och sittgrupp under pergola för extra utomhusskötsel, karaokemaskin och mycket musik på plats, 72-tums TV i stort familjerum för det stora spelet, 3 bilgarage, fullt utrustat kök och bar, extra sovplats på soffor och vilstolar, och en mangrotta med fantastisk pelletskamin för de kallare dagarna.

Vi har extra sängkläder och spränger madrass med dubbelsäng på begäran.
Vi har alla bekvämligheter du behöver och WiFi är tillgängligt. Vi håller vårt hus mycket rent och smakfullt inredda.

Great place for a great time!

We had a great time on our second visit to this VRBO location. We like where it’s located but even if you don’t go anywhere, the house is comfortable and clean and pretty and the backyard is great with the pool and hot tub and fire pit.

The property was perfect for our group traveling to the CrossFit Games. Great location. Beautiful home in a beautiful neighborhood. Close to Alliant Energy center. Highly recommend!

Excellent Accommodations!

My husband, son and sister-in-law we’re visiting our daughter and son-in-law in Madison but wanted a place where we could all stay, and have a pool so we wouldn’t have to go anywhere-just relax and visit. Julie showed us around, told us to make ourselves at home, and we did. It was cleaner than any hotel we’ve ever stayed in. Had everything we needed . Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic, clean home with lots of space. Great pool / backyard area, fantastic kitchen and living spaces, clean bathrooms and bedrooms. Good location in a nice suburban neighborhood. Reasonably close location to downtown Madison. Highly recommend! Julie was great at communicating and very friendly. Perfect for group / family stays

Nice property, large, very clean, great pool. Did not know this was this families home. All the family pictures and decorations, including the red white & blue outside light on the front was a bit too much. A bit of a shock in a tightly packed residential neighborhood. Loads of extras like sunscreen, spices etc. but the lack of even 1 coffee filter....would have been nice to know.

Great family home in Madison

We had an amazing weekend at the Murphy home. The backyard and pool was perfect for our family(pool basketball, slide and diving board). There is plenty of room to gather inside and outside. The host was great to work with. They do live in the house when it is not rented but there was plenty of room for our family. We highly recommend this house for a large group of friends or family.

Nice property - just a few suggestions

It was very nice. Owners were very responsive to questions. We encourage you to add a rope, to mark the pool drop off. It would be nice to have the main wine refrigerator empty to avoid confusion. Please make sure the drinking water dispenser is full - it ran out the day we arrived. Please check the lower level main room tv - we couldn't get it to work.

Wonderful vacation

Our family gathered for a long weekend for summer vacation and to celebrate birthdays. The house was perfect for our family of 14. The pool, hot tub and pub table under the pergola were awesome! We cooked and grilled every meal and the host provided a well equipped kitchen and Weber gas grill. The house is beautiful and has so many areas to gather and each family had there own bedroom. Our family had such a good time at this home and the hosts were great people to work with. Definitely recommend this property!

Perfect spot!

We could not say enough wonderful things about this home and the hosts. The house was perfect for our family! The entire family enjoyed the backyard - playing in the pool, fun pool slide, and fire pit. The hosts were nice enough to have a s’mores station and amenities for the pool (towels, bug spray, pool toys). Julie was very communicative and easy to work with. I would highly recommend this home!

Wonderful Vacation

We loved our stay here. The home has five bedrooms and three bathrooms, which worked well for our group of ten. Everything was very clean, including the pool and hot tub. The owner runs a cleaning service, and she obviously takes pride in her work. The hosts were very responsive; at one point we needed a stepladder, and Julie brought one over within half an hour. Everything -- from the sheets to the appliances -- was premium quality. The hosts did not skimp. The pool was great. It has a slide, a diving board, and a basketball goal for use with small beach balls, which were provided. There were also floats and pool noodles. The kids spent most of their time in the pool; the adults spent some time in the pool with the kids, but more time in the hot tub. There's also a large Jacuzzi bathtub in the master bathroom. There is a fire pit with firewood supplied. There's also a s'mores station, with skewers, graham crackers, marshmallows, and chocolate bars provided. We made good use of that one evening. There's a good collection of jigsaw puzzles and games. We have a multi-generational group of ten (pre-teen to late 70's), and played a trivia game called "Mind the Gap." It was hilarious. Finally, the home is conveniently located. There are two movie theaters, a large Target, and a Culver's (known for its custards) nearby. We ate all our meals at home, so we didn't explore local restaurants.

Rain, rain, rain.

Our visit was cursed by unforeseen amounts of torrential rain the second day. The basement completely flooded and our friends staying in the basement had to evacuate to a hotel. The owners were very responsive, and worked hard so that we could enjoy the rest of our stay, and the ultimate frisbee team could shelter from the terrible weather. Some tough negotiations on refunds, and perhaps there could have been a warning of possible issues in the event of heavy rain, but overall we very much appreciated the effort they made for us, and the house and its amenities were very nice and exactly as listed.

We had a great time in Madison, and was so glad we found this home. Plenty of room to spread out, it had everything we needed. We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Highly recommend this home

A gem in Madison

This was our first family vacation with my daughter, her husband, their 9 month old, my son, his wife, their 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son, my husband and me. It could not have gone better! Everyone was comfortable, the location was wonderful with a very child friendly beach and yummy ice cream and coffee shop nearby. the backyard pool and hot tub fantastic and there was no amenity missing And it would be hard to find a more gracious, helpful host than Julie. In fact we are now trying to find a time we can return next summer.

Super backyard!

Our family of 11 (ages 1 through 74) thoroughly enjoyed this home. The in-ground pool with the slide and diving board was definitely the highlight of our vacation. The fire-pit and the box of S’more fixings were also a big hit. The hot tub was an added bonus. We loved that all 11 of us could sit around both the indoor and outdoor tables! There was plenty of room for us to spread out for some privacy and still come together for games, TV, or just hang out. The owners were quite helpful with ideas of things to do in the Madison area for the ages of our group. Julie answered any of our questions from the time we signed through our stay at the house. Joe came over twice to do some minor maintenance on the pool. Both are friendly and very easy to talk to. We all loved the Madison area and enjoyed the Farmers Market, Art Faire, boating on Lake Mendota, ice cream at the UW Union, Children’s Museum, Cave of the Mounds, and many other activities. A fun time was had by all!

Amazing spot

Went with a bunch of friends for the Badgers game. Great location, the house had more than enough room and the backyard was awesome. The pool was huge and the slide was a ton of fun. The hosts were super nice and the check in process was very easy. Would definitely recommend!

Joe and Julie Murphy have 6 kids and most have moved on so they want to share their home with other families, young or old. They currently live in the home but have other accommodations ready for them when you are in town! They are always available should the need arise but the house is user friendly and in great living condition!
Joe is a Chiropractor and Julie has owned and operated her own cleaning business for over 20 years.
They have been season Badger basketball and football ticket owners for years so if you need directions or have a question regarding any games, they have the answer.
