Denna lilla stuga (250 s. F.) Har aldrig enande utsikt över sjön Kegonsa. Den sitter pÄ bluffen i ett omrÄde med andra hem och stugor. Det Àr cedertidigt, mycket rent och modernt inuti. Det finns en dubbelsÀng i sovrummet, en bÀddsoffa i vardagsrummet, med alla sÀngklÀder, en promenad genom badrum och ett kök / vardagsrum. Köket Àr vÀlfyllt med redskap, mikro & kaffebryggare. Det finns kabel-TV och Wi-Fi finns tillgÀngligt. DÀcket har utsikt över sjön Kegonsa och har möbler, en Weber-kolgrill och otroliga soluppgÄngar. Ta med din bÄt och brygga den vid bryggan eller hyra en pontong eller kajak. Madison ligger bara 15 minuter bort och erbjuder mÄnga matstÀllen och roliga aktiviteter!TyvÀrr, inga husdjur tillÄtna. Beautiful View, tiny 'starter' cabin

This is a very tiny cabin. There is about 10 sq. ft of floor space in the living/kitchen area (think 8 by 8), and about 1.5 ft around the bed in the bedroom. The view of the lake is, indeed, amazing and access is about 30 very steep hold-the-handrail steps to the lake. There is an eagle that may sit in the tree outside, which is a true one-of-a-kind experience. Frank is kind and attentive, if you want that 'b & b' type attention. Others prefer a lock-box type checkin. The cabin does have a full kitchen, bath and wifi. And has separate rooms. We've stayed places which were in effect one room. I love having my morning coffee separate from the sleeping room. So, one bedroom, one living/kitchen area. As others have said, if you have luggage, you can't lay it out, but if you're ok with climbing over the bed to the bath, the view is well worth it. The 15-minute ride to Madison seems longer, but the 1 hour ride to the House on the Rock is somehow a must.

It was the perfect stay for my husband and I. The cabin was clean and cozy with outstanding views. The owner was just lovely and provided very helpful information about local restaurants, attractions etc. We will make this a yearly destination for sure!!! P.S. even caught a bass from the dock

Simply Beautiful

Not what I expected. Because we are used to more modern and larger rooms. But this was simply beautiful we looked our getaway. It was just what we needed for the two of us. It was clean and had what we needed. It was cozy and comfortable not roomy but cozy. The view of the lake was unbelievable beautiful. I took pictures of the rising of the sun each morning from our balcony and actually videoed start to finish. Simply beautiful. It was quite and peaceful Thanks Frank I will definitely come back again. Pearl

Beautiful view of sunrises

Frank met us at our car and brought our luggage to the small cabin. He answered all of our questions, and was very friendly. The place was clean and had everything we needed. We spent most of our time hiking in the surrounding area, but I did go for morning runs about 1.5 miles in either direction from the house, and the neighborhood was very nice.

It’s rare for the owner of a place to meet you when you arrive and help you carry your bags and give you a tour. I was so impressed by this. I highly recommend staying here and will if I ever travel back to Wisconsin.

Frank is a great host. He is there on site to welcome you and show you around. He keeps the property well manicured. Loved the bird houses and view of the lake. We had a great time.

Loved this little cabin! Stayed for the weekend while attending wedding in the area. Cabin was very clean and had everything you need for a comfortable stay. Owner was extremely helpful with check in and check out. Also, he was great at providing information of best places to eat and see in the area. Would definitely stay here again!

Great time in Stoughton

We stayed in a cabin on a lake and had a wonderful time. Frank, our host, was on site when we arrived and took us to the cabin and went over everything we needed to know. Talk about personalized service. Everything was neat and clean. The kitchen was small, but it was just me and my wife. The view was incredible. Looking out over the lake was something we will never forget. We struggled with the TV once, but Frank was on site to walk us through attaching our HGMI cable. The cabin is close to Madison, which was great for us since we were visiting my son and his new wife. There are plenty of stores nearby for shopping. If you go, visit the Cheese Mart in downtown Madison for some great Wisconsin cheese to take home.
