Silverlake is a luxury private estate nestled in an extensive nature reserve, near to the coast in West Dorset. Opportunity for adventure abounds with a heated infinity pool, a private spa, gym, roof bar, water sports, a private beach, cycling trails, woodland walks, tennis, table tennis and forest playgrounds available on site.
All our properties here at Silverlake, Dorset have strict rules to ensure a family friendly atmosphere. Our properties must strictly be used for holiday purposes only and not for working in and or using to commute to and from a place of work. Stag and Hen parties are strictly not allowed at any of our properties, and we reserve the right to cancel your booking if you break the estate rules.
Knighton is a stunning contemporary 2 storey home that offers spacious living accommodation and sleeps a maximum of 12 guests in 5 bedrooms. We recommend a maximum of 10 adults and 2 children at this property owing to the bedroom configurations. The ground floor houses the master bedroom with super king bed and large en-suite facilities, a king size bedroom with en-suite and a further twin bedroom and family bathroom, complete with shower over bath. The house benefits from a fully equipped utility room on the ground floor with a washer dryer, dishwasher, fridge and separate tea and coffee making facilities for the ground floor bedrooms.
Access to the Hurricane Terrace bar, gym, heated outdoor pool and activity equipment is included with this property, offering plenty to do while staying at Silverlake. Inclusive equipment hire includes bikes and water equipment such as paddleboards, kayaks and canoes, subject to availability.
Also on site is a luxury spa offering a variety of holistic and beauty treatments and a takeaway pizza shack offering pizzas and tapas. Opening hours can vary for both depending on the season.
The first floor is a great entertaining space with a large south-east facing lounge with TV and SONOS system, dining area with seating for 10-12 guests and a fully fitted kitchen with two fridges, freezer and 3 built in ovens, including a combination oven/microwave. There is also a separate cloakroom with WC on this floor.
The top floor showcases the amazing outlook of the property with a snug cinema room where the views of the Estate can be fully enjoyed. On this level is the children's bunk room with 2 sets of bunk beds (suitable for children only), a further bedroom with a versatile set up of a zip link super king bed that can be set up as twin beds if preferred.
There is ample parking outside the property suitable for up to 5 cars with the addition of a Tesla EV charging point, ground floor lakeside deck with plenty of space to socialise and enjoy a meal with friends. The decking is fully enclosed with spiral staircase leading to first floor balcony that showcases views across the lake and rolling Dorset hills beyond. The communal jetty is directly next to the property, allowing easy access to the lake to explore the beautiful surroundings.
Whilst this property is fully completed, there are properties on the estate undergoing construction in various phases. Bookings for this property are made on the understanding that you may see and hear construction, machinery and workers from 0730 to 1800, Monday to Friday and 0800 to 1300 on Saturdays.
