Great family condo

This was our 3rd stay at this condo. The layout is perfect for our family with our adult children and small grands. Room for every one to spread out. Accurate listing, clean and comfy. Beautiful location, right across from the beach!

CANCEL IMMEDIATELY

If you are scheduled to stay in this condo, you should cancel immediately. This place is very poorly managed and is in desperate need of attention. When we arrived on Saturday, the refrigerator did not work. We had a family of 6 and a toddler and could not buy groceries due to this. We had to eat out several times because we could not get groceries due to broken fridge. This cost us a lot of money. After sending numerous texts, repairman finally came on Sunday afternoon. Told us coil was frozen. He defrosted it and said “it should last until you leave.” On Friday morning, we wake up to a hot refrigerator again. Now we have a fridge full of groceries that have gone bad and had to be thrown away. Texted them immediately and was told it was being “reviewed.” Texted with them all day on Friday. No one ever showed up and when we left on Saturday, fridge was still hot and never heard from anyone about fixing it. We have not been offered any compensation or refund due to this broken fridge that we dealt with all week! Also it is extremely hot in all of the bedrooms! We put the AC on 67 at night which did not help at all. One of my son-in-laws bought a portable AC for their room because it was unbearable. Be prepared to sweat. When you use the disposal, gross liquid bubbles up from the other sink which is slow to drain. I have a list of about 15 things wrong with this place and will be sending an email to Vacasa. I have stayed at Treehouse numerous times and have always been happy but this time was a huge disappointment. I asked for the owner’s name and number so I could let him know how poorly this place is managed but they refused to give it to me.

Affordable and family friendly

We enjoyed out stay at the Treehouse on Pensacola Beach. The beach is right across the road, and there is a nice walkway, so that was a plus. The house is very nice, but there are a lot of steps (at least 10 steps up into the house, and all the bedrooms are upstairs, so more stairs to walk). We enjoyed the deck over looking the bay, and found the house to be very spacious. There were some issues we found with the house (master bath toilet was broke, lights burnt out in master bath, TV's would not connect to cable, and the ice maker was broke in freezer). The property management was informed and they came out quickly to remedy the issues. One last comment, the bed in the master bedroom is probably the best bed I have slept on anywhere! Overall, the stay was very enjoyable, I would not hesitate to rent this home again when we are in Pensacola.

Incredible location

This is the perfect spot. Couldn’t be closer to a boardwalk to the gulf, and the sound is literally feet from your back windows. The house itself left a lot to desire. The electrical setup is frustrating especially when traveling with little ones. Plugs do not hold in the things plugged into them, light switches turn off oss things. Be prepared for zero cooking ingredients (salt, pepper, oil, etc) that are common at most rentals. They need to get the place sprayed, we had multiple cockroaches on our things throughout the stay. Finally, we did have a few things stolen that we left out to dry on the bottoms level. Not the fault of the property but just be good to be aware of. Overall, a good place to stay but just there are things to be aware of prior to coming.

Needs a little work.

There was black mold growing all around the entrance to the condo. One of the beds upstairs was broken in 2 different spots. The outlets were just hanging from the ceiling. One outlet was broken in one of the bedrooms. If these problems were fixed, i would rate this place a 5 out of 5.

Pretty View

Easy walk across the street to the beach and pretty water view out the back. The house itself really needs updated and cleaned. The vents were black from dirt. The showers were pretty old, tile and shower head in one upstairs bathroom really needed updated and fixed. Most rentals we get have at least some basic seasonings, there wasn’t even salt and pepper. Some of the outlets were really loose. One had tape over the top plug in. We were Leary about using the bottom even. Went to turn a light off upstairs and it made a crackling noise that made me Leary of all the wiring. The bathroom toilet roll broke and I told them to not come fix til we left and they sent someone anyway and they just walked right in while we were there and never called or knocked. That was sketchy too. Under the couches was dirty and under the couch cushions. I would not stay at this house again. I hate to say that because we have normally have good luck at vacation rentals and this location was nice just the house needs attention.

Great weekend getaway

My family had a blast staying here for the weekend. The house is very spacious and overall in good working order (water spigot on the fridge didn't work, but that wasn't a big deal). Direct access to the bay as well as the beach was awesome! I wish we could have stayed longer. My only complaint is that for a weekend stay the cleaning and service fees were exorbitant (over half our total cost). Overall though, great place!

Treehouse on the bay

We stayed here for a week during the first week of April. Very clean property, easy access to the beach, about a twenty minute walk to most restaurants and shopping. Highly recommend. One small thing, the stereo did not have an aux port or Bluetooth so it was basically useless; needs an upgrade. Otherwise, WIFI and tv’s worked fine.

Cleanliness and comfort lacking

This rental needs an overhaul from basic painting to carpet cleaning or replacement. No bbq and minimal basic provisions. 2 garbage bags and no liquid soap for a 3 night stay for 6 people. Choose another property if looking for cleanliness and responsiveness to any issues. Clogged shower and sink took over 24 hours to resolve.

Great Location Right on the beach!

We absolutely loved how close the rental was to the beach! There was an issue with the carpets not being cleaned which is why I have rated it as a 4 star review. However, when I brought the matter of the carpet to the property management’s attention it was addressed professionally and quickly. And I was completely satisfied with the resolution. The house was otherwise very clean and provided enough room for my family. We will definitely be back!

Pros and cons

Pros..plenty of room, comfortable beds, great access to the beach and bay with wonderful views of the bay Cons Washing machine was out of order without notification, upstairs bathroom drain stopped up in the tub, after reporting lack of towels (we could not wash the few we had due to the washer issue) and being told we would receive more we never got them,
